In supporting operations for the coal loading and unloading process at the Main Port Equipment (APU) both from unloading equipment to the stockpile and from the stockpile to the ship through the medium of transporting coal cargo. The cargo conveying media used is a belt conveyor, every coal sent or transported must be strictly maintained in quality and quantity. One of them is the absence of metal materials that are carried away, for example, iron, steel, cobalt and so on. Because this aims to maintain the performance and trust of consumers or stakeholders. At PT. PT. Bukit Asam Tbk to separate foreign material carried by the belt conveyor uses what is called a Magnet Separator. Therefore, an analysis of the performance of the separator magnet is carried out as a detection of foreign materials on the conveyor. The purpose and benefits of analyzing the performance of this system is to know the reliability of the separator magnets used in the company and be able to find out the advantages and disadvantages of the analyzed device. The methods used in this study are literature study, experimental and implementation. The results of this study can also be concluded that the separator magnet currently attached to the C2 belt conveyor unit functions well and can be used to secure foreign materials during operation. The magnitude of the magnetic field depends on the distance of the point under review. The farther the smaller the magnetic field and vice versa.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the block learning system using SWOT analysis so as to produce proposals in the form of strategies and policies in an effort to improve the implementation of the block system based on the results of the SWOT analysis. The study consisted of 4 respondents, consisting of school management in the field of curriculum and 3 teachers of Electrical Engineering. This research is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach using the SWOT (Strengthness, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) analysis method. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using Miles & Huberman analysis with the help of a SWOT matrix. The strategies that can be developed after conducting a SWOT analysis are the SO (Strengthness-Opportunities) strategy, the WO (Weakness-Opportunities) strategy, the ST (Strengthness-Threats) strategy, and the WT (Weakness-Threats) strategy. The results showed that the block learning system at SMKN 2 Payakumbuh based on the results of the SWOT analysis, had great strengths and opportunities to support the success of the implementation of the next block learning system, although there were still some weaknesses and threats. ) were found. The strategy that can be done in an effort to improve the implementation of the block system based on a SWOT analysis is that schools strive for the implementation of the block system to be in accordance with the Teaching Factory (TEFa) program which is one of the development programs for schools.

This study aims to determine the impact of the use of youtube in learning. The learning process at this time has been influenced by information and communication technology. To improve student learning outcomes of SMK Negeri 1 Padang, a more interesting and interactive learning media is needed. This research was conducted using the type of experimental research which is categorized into a quasi-experimental research type with the pretest-posttest group design method, namely one experimental class that will be applied to learning using YouTube Electrical Installation content and one control class that does not use YouTube in its learning. The subjects of this study were students of class XI TITL SMK Negeri 1 Padang in the academic year 2022/2023a. To measure the impact, a pretest was given before the students applied learning using YouTube. Then the Posttest was given after the learning process of Electrical Power Installation. Posttest results were analyzed using a series of tests such as t-test and effect size. The results of the test show that the scores of students who applied learning using YouTube's Electrical Installation content were better than students who did not use YouTube. Student learning outcomes after using youtube increased. So that the use of YouTube media for Electrical Installation content has a positive impact in improving student learning outcomes.

One of the practicum courses for the D3 Electrical Engineering study program in the Electrical Engineering Department is Electrical machine control practicum, some of the learning materials are about induction motor control with PLC which in the learning process uses trainers that are already based on PLC and equipped with HMI as teaching aids, but the availability of trainers is not yet equipped with a jobsheet as a guide in the learning process. Induction motor control practicum worksheet with PLC and HMI which is valid, practical and effective. Jobsheet making is done by research method 4D development, namely define, design, develop, and desiminate, and the validity test, practicality test, and effectiveness test have been carried out on the worksheet. The results of the validity test of the induction motor control practicum jobsheet with PLC and HMI are stated in the very valid category, the results of the practicality test of the jobsheet are stated in the very practical category and effectiveness test results josbheet declared effective.

This study aims to produce effective Augmented Reality-based learning media in the electrical machinery course in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Padang State University. The research method used is the method of research using the pre-Experimental research method with a One-Shot Case Study design. This type of One-Shot Case Study aims to see the power of measurement and the scientific value of a research design. In this method the application is made using supporting software, namely the Unity 2018 software, Android studio and Vuforia. Furthermore, the authors see whether the application that the author makes is feasible and effective to use as a learning medium through a questionnaire that will be provided and tested for validity. In its application, this learning media is applied to twenty-two students who are taking the Electrical Machines course at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Padang State University in 2022. Testing the feasibility of research materials obtained a figure of ninety-five percent for the feasibility test of the content of the material and ninety-five percent three percent for the media feasibility test where the figure shows that the learning media made are said to be very feasible to be used as research material. The implementation of the research shows that the use of Augmented Reality-based learning media in the Electrical Machines course can improve the quality of the learning process and student learning motivation. Based on data analysis, the average value of the effectiveness of learning media is seventy-point fifty six percent where this value can be categorized as effective as an alternative interactive learning media.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the problem-based learning model in TJTL class XII substation subjects at SMK Negeri Padang. Student learning outcomes are still low caused by factors that seem monotonous learning methods. Therefore, it is necessary to do research using a problem-based learning model. This study uses a type of pre-experimental research. The design of this research is The One-Shot Case Study. According to Sumadi (2003: 100) "The One-Shot Case Study Design is the treatment given to one group of subjects, then measurements are taken. The research subject is Class XII TJTL SMK N 1 Padang consisting of two classes, namely class XII TJTL A and class TJTL B. In this study with the research theme of class XII TJTL B SMK Negeri 1 Padang Registering in the academic year 2022/2023, there are 27 students . Data collection in the study used a test instrument in the form of objective questions. Posttest data after the application of the problem-based learning model. The data obtained were analyzed using classical completeness. Based on the calculation of classical completeness, students in a class can be seen by comparing students who graduate individually or get a higher score than the school's KKM with the total number of students. Based on data analysis of 27 students, an average score of 92.59% was obtained with 25 students said to have passed and 2 students were said to have failed. Based on this score, 25 students got a higher score than the school KKM. So in terms of classical completeness learning using this problem-based learning model is very effective.

Electrical Lighting Installation subjects consist of two learning activities, namely theory and practice. In the learning process of Electrical Lighting Installation Practice at SMK Negeri 1 Rao Selatan, problems were found in the form of unavailability of teaching materials (jobsheets) for class XI TITL students. In the learning process of the Electric Lighting Installation Practice, the teacher still uses the lecture method using the whiteboard media to explain the circuit drawing to be worked on, causing the practical learning process to be less effective. This study aims to produce a valid, practical and effective jobsheet on the subject of Electrical Lighting Installation class XI TITL at SMK Negeri 1 Rao Selatan. This type of research is Research & Development (R&D) using a 4D development model consisting of four stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Desiminate. Data collection was carried out using three instruments, namely a validation questionnaire, a practicality questionnaire, and a work assessment sheet (rubric). This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes in programmed control system subjects, namely only 66% (21 students) while only 34% (11 students) completed. This is presumably due to the less than optimal implementation of the Block System in the Center of Excellence Curriculum in Class XI TOI Electrical Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. The purpose of this research is to implement the Block System in the Curriculum of the Center of Excellence in Class XI Electrical Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research, with the CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, product). The population in this study were 32 students of class XI TOI Electrical Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results of the evaluation study on the implementation of the Block System in the Center of Excellence Curriculum in Class XI TOI Electrical Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh in terms of context, input, process, product were considered poor.

The problem in this exploration is the appropriate and fluctuating learning media at Padang State University, with the right student learning outcomes. This study aims to disseminate learning media and form substantial, functional, and interesting media in electronic engineering courses for students majoring in electrical engineering, Padang State University. This study uses Research and Development (R&D) planning, using a 4-D improvement model. 4-D repair techniques are Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. The information evaluation method used is intended to describe the truth and reasonable reasoning behind the educational media. the result obtained from this development research is an Android-oriented learning media. Judging from the consequences of this exploration, it can be said that the media designed is declared valid, from the point of view of using the material from a practical point of view. Media designed very simply for students. Finally, the Android-based learning media designed can be used and easy to develop student learning outcomes.

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning learning model to improve the competence of class XI TITL students at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang. Student learning outcomes are still low caused by the factor of the learning model that is still teacher-centered, thus affecting the cognitive and psychomotor domains of students. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research with the application of Project Based Learning to see the effectiveness of student competence. This study uses an experimental research type which is categorized into a quasi-experimental type of research with a one group pretest posttest design. The subjects of this study were students of class XI TITL SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang in the academic year 2022/2023 which consisted of 16 students. To measure this effectiveness, a pretest was given before the implementation of Project Based Learning in learning. Posttest is given after the learning process of Electrical Lighting Installation. The posttest results will be analyzed using a series of tests such as classical completeness and effect size. The test results show that the value of students who applied Project Based Learning was better than students who did not apply Project Based Learning. Student learning outcomes after implementing Project Based Learning increased. So that Project Based Learning is effective to improve student competence.
