THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CHARACTER EDUCATION AT MTs NUR IMAN MLANGI, PONDOK PESANTREN AL-HUDA, SLEMAN REGENCY, YOGYAKARTA 在日惹省斯勒曼再生区蓬多克·佩桑特伦·阿尔胡达的NUR IMAN MLANGI中学实施性格教育

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah berbasis pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan mengambil setting di MTs Nur Iman Mlangi yang ada di lingkungan  Pondok Pesantren Al-Huda di Kabupaten Sleman Yogyakarta. Yang menjadi subjek penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah guru bimbingan konseling, guru IPS, dan siswa di MTs Mlangi. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai karakter yang diimplementasikan di MTs Mlangi yaitu religius, nasionalis, mandiri, gotong royong, dan integritas. Pengintegrasian pendidikan karakter di MTs Mlangi dilakukan melalui pengintegrasian pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran, pengintegrasian pendidikan karakter melalui program pengembangan diri, dan pengintegrasian pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah. Di antara faktor pendukung implementasi pendidikan karakter di MTs Mlangi yaitu guru profesional dan sarana prasarana yang memadai, sedang  faktor penghambatnya yaitu lingkungan sekolah yang kurang mendukung. Kata Kunci: implementasi, pendidikan karakter, Madrasah Tsanawiyah. THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CHARACTER EDUCATION AT MTs NUR IMAN MLANGI AT AL-HUDA ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL AT SLEMAN REGENCY YOGYAKARTA Abstract: This study aims to describe the implementation of character education in Islamic boarding school-based school. This research is a qualitative research by taking the setting in MTs Nur Iman Mlangi in the Al-Huda Islamic Boarding School in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. The subjects of the study were the headmaster, the vice headmaster, the teacher of guidance and counseling subjects, the teacher of social studies subject, and students at MTs Mlangi. The data were collected with interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results showed that the character values implemented in MTs Mlangi were religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation, and integrity. Implementation of integrating character education in MTs Mlangi is done through the integration of character education in learning, integration of character education through self-development programs, and integration of character education through school culture. Among the factors supporting the implementation of character education in MTs Mlangi were professional teachers and adequate infrastructure, while the inhibiting factors were the school environment that was less supportive. Keywords: implementation, character education, Madrasah Tsanawiyah.

PENINGKATAN CIVIC SKILLS DAN CIVIC EMPATHY MAHASISWA MELALUI CITIZEN JOURNALISM PROJECT 公民技能与公民同理心马包括公民新闻项目

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menginvestigasi dampak penggunaan model pembelajaran citizen journalism kepada mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan civic skills dan civic empathy sebagai upaya penguatan pendidikan karakter bagi para mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan model dari Bachman. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa di Departemen Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para mahasiswa telah memiliki perangkat keterampilan dan empati sebagai bagian dari civic competencies yang membentuk karakter dan moralitas publik mereka. Melalui model pembelajaran citizen journalism, kedua kompetensi tersebut diperkuat dan tampak lebih jelas dengan pola pembelajaran berbuat dan penyelesaian masalah melalui penyelesaian proyek. Selain itu, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model citizen journalism mampu mengembangkan sikap-sikap demokratis mahasiswa seperti keterbukaan, berpikir kritis, toleran, dan bertanggung jawab.Kata kunci: keterampilan kewarganegaraan, empati, jurnalisme warga negara. IMPROVING CIVIC SKILLS AND CIVIC EMPATHY OF STUDENTS THROUGH CITIZEN JOURNALISM PROJECTAbstract: This research aims to investigate the impact of citizen journalism as learning model for students to develop their civic skills and civic empathy as an effort to strengthen character education for students. This study used a qualitative approach with classroom action research model by Bachman. The informants of this research are students in Civic Education Department, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The results shows that the students had had skills and empathy as part of civic competencies for shaping their character and public morality. Through the citizen journalism learning model, both of these competencies are strengthened and appear more clearly with the learning patterns of doing and solving the problems through project completion. In addition, the results of the analysis show that the citizen journalism model is able to develop democratic attitudes of students such as open-minded, critical thinking, tolerance, and responsibility. Keywords: civic skills, empathy, citizen journalism.

KARAKTERISTIK PERILAKU KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DAN BUDAYA SEKOLAH DI SEKOLAH DASAR 小学校长领导和学校文化的特点

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya sekolah di SD Negeri Purwosari Kulon dan SD Negeri Mangkubumen Lor No 15 Kecamatan Lawean Kota Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan bentuk studi kasus.  Subjek penelitiannya yaitu kepala sekolah dan guru. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan model interaktif. Hasil penelitian bahwa: (1) karakteristik perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di SD Negeri Purwosari Kulon antara lain (a) memberi keteladanan; (b) longgar, mempertimbangkan senioritas dan perasaan bawahan; (c) pesimis; dan (d) pasrah. Budaya sekolah yang berkembang yaitu budaya: salatberjamaah dan menjaga kebersihan sekolah, meremehkan aturan, formalitas, malas membaca, dan pembelajaran yang lesu; (2) karakteristik perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di SD Negeri Mangkubumen Lor No.15 antara lain (a) memberi keteladanan; (b) tegas; (c) optimis dan bersemangat; (d) bijaksana; (e) rendah hati; (f) bersahabat. Budaya sekolah yang berkembang yaitu disiplin, memberi salam dan berjabat tangan, loyalitas, salat berjamaah, menjaga kebersihan, efisien/menghargai waktu, semangat menjalankan tugas dan belajar, bekerja sama, saling menghormati, saling mengingatkan, kompak, saling percaya, rukun/akrab, bertanggung jawab, membaca, memberi penghargaan, berprestasi, dan profesionalitas. Kata kunci: perilaku, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, dan budaya sekolah. CHARACTERISTICS OF LEADERSHIP BEHAVIOR OF HEADMASTER AND SCHOOL CULTURE IN PRIMARY SCHOOL  Abstract: This study aims to determine the characteristics of leadership behavior of headmaster and school culture in primary school of Purwosari Kulon and primary school Mangkubumen Lor No 15, District of Lawean, Surakarta City. This study uses a qualitative research with case study type. The subjects were headmasters and teachers. The data were collected with observation, interview, and documentation. The research concludes that: (1) Characteristics of leadership behavior of headmaster at primary school of Purwosari Kulon include (a) providing exemplary acts; (b) a loose, considering seniority and subordinate feelings; (c) pessimistic; and (d) resignation. The developed school cultures are the culture of praying together and maintaining cleanliness of the school, underestimating the rules, formalities, bad reading interest, and lethargic learning; (2) Characteristics of leadership behavior of headmaster at primary school of Mangkubumen Lor 15 include (a) providing exemplary acts; (b) firmed; (c) optimistic and vibrant; (d) wise; (e) humble; and (f) friendly. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pembelajaran kooperatif model STAD dan Jigsaw terhadap karakter kerja sama, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan hasil belajar kognitif; serta model pembelajaran kooperatif yang lebih berpengaruh antara STAD dan Jigsaw. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Subjek penelitiannya yaitu seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN pelaksana Kurikulum 2013 di Kecamatan Magelang Utara Kota Magelang yang berjumlah 196 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu pedoman observasi, angket, soal uraian, dan soal isian. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji Hotteling’s Trace MANOVA dan independent sample t-test dengan kriteria Ho ditolak jika nilai signifikansi α (0,05). Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai karakter pada buku ajar Pendidikan Agama Islam Sekolah Dasar dan kesesuaian nilai-nilai tersebut dengan rumusan nilai utama dan indikator nilai yang dirumuskan Pusat Kurikulum (Puskur) Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional RI tahun 2010. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian ini adalah analisis konten. Data dikumpulkan melalui pembacaan dan pencatatan yang cermat terhadap buku ajar Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk kelas I sampai dengan kelas VI Sekolah Dasar yang diterbitkan Tiga Serangkai tahun 2012. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pemaparan nilai-nilai karakter dalam buku ajar tersebut bersifat eksplisit dan berkesesuaian dengan nilai karakter yang dirumuskan Puskur Kemendiknas tahun 2010. Namun dalam penyajiannya terdapat ketidaksesuaian atau bias bila dibandingkan dengan rumusan nilai karakter Kemendiknas. Bias penulisan tersebut dalam bentuk: pertama, Ketidaksesuaian nilai yang digunakan dalam buku teks dengan rumusan nilai karakter Kemendiknas, kedua, ketidaksesuaian materi nilai karakter dengan indikator nilai karakter dari Kemendiknas, dan ketiga, ketidaktepatan dalam menentukan nilai karakter yang dijelaskan.Kata kunci: nilai karakter, buku teks, pendidikan agama Islam.AN ANALYSIS OF CHARACTER VALUES IN THE TEXTBOOK OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION OF PRIMARY SCHOOL Abstract: This study is aimed to identify the form of character values in the textbook of Islamic Religion Education for primary school and the correspondence with character values formulated by Center of Curriculum of Ministry of National Education. This study employed content analysis method. The data were collected through a careful reading and recording the Islamic Religion Education textbooks for Primary School published by Penerbit Tiga Serangkai.The results show that the explanation of character values in the text book of Islamic religion Education for primary school is explicit and in correspond to the character values that are formulated by Center of Curriculum of Ministry of National Education. However, there is a discrepancy in the presentation or bias when it is compared with the formulation of the character values of Kemendiknas.The bias in the form of writing is: 1) The value of the characters used in the text book is not in accordance with the formulation of the character values of Kemendiknas; 2) the subject of character value is not in accordance with the indicator of character value of Kemendiknas; and 3) there is an inappropiateness in determining the value of the character that will be described.Keywords: character values, textbook, Islamic religious education.

Lembar Kerja Siswa Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Berbasis Pendidikan Karakter Di Sekolah Menengah Atas 高中人物教育历史专业学生工作表

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana proses mengembangkan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa untuk mata pelajaran sejarah berbasis pendidikan karakter, dan tingkat kelayakan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa berbasis pendidikan karakter yang dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian Pengembangan (RD) ini mengadaptasi langkah-langkah yang dikembangkan oleh Borg Gall. Desain pengembangan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa menggunakan tujuh langkah awal yaitu (a) pengumpulan informasi, (b) perencanaan, (c) pengembangan produk awal, (d) uji coba produk awal, (e) revisi produk awal, (f) uji coba lapangan, dan (g) revisi produk lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah seperangkat lembar kerja siswa mata pelajaran sejarah berbasis pendidikan karakter. LKS ini terdiri atas enam (6) bab, masing-masing bab terdapat aktivitas yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa serta memuat penanaman nilai karakter. Untuk menguji kelayakan, materi divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Kata kunci: lembar kegiatan siswa, pendidikan karakter, pembelajaran sejarah. WORKSHEET FOR CHARACTER-BASED HISTORY SUBJECT IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL Abstract: This research aimed at: (1) finding out the process of developing character-based History worksheet, and (2) finding out the appropriateness of character-based History worksheet for grade X students. This research belonged to Research and Development adapting development model from Borg Gall (1983). The steps included: (a) collecting information, (b) planning, (c) developing preliminary form of product, (d) conducting preliminary field testing, (e) revising main product, (f) conducting main field testing, and (g) revising operational product. The result of this research was a set of character-based worksheet. The worksheets embodied six units in which each unit included some activities meeting the students’ need and character education need to be integrated. To find out the feasibility, the worksheets were validated by experts in material and media. Keywords: worksheet, character-based, History teaching.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor utama pembentuk karakter siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Sekolah menerapkan pendidikan karakter sebagai pengembangan kurikulum dengan berpedoman pada kurikulum pendidikan Nasional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei dengan pendekatan korelasional dengan desain penelitian expost facto. Pembentukan karakter sebagai perilaku dikembangkan dari teori konstruktivisme pembelajaran, dan social learning theory dari Bandura. Lingkungan belajar, pola asuh orang tua, lingkungan sosial, dan konsep diri, dianalisis dengan uji korelasional terhadap karakter siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri berpengaruh sebesar 13%, lingkungan sosial 72%, lingkungan belajar 22%, pola asuh orang tua 18% terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa dan secara simultan seluruh variabel berpengaruh sebesar 57% terhadap pembentukan karakter Salih, Muslih, Cerdas, Mandiri, dan Terampil (SMART) siswa. Dimensi teman sebaya pada variabel lingkungan sosial mempunyai pengaruh terbesar membentuk karakter siswa di SMP Islam Terpadu Nurul Fikri Depok. Kata kunci: lingkungan belajar, pola asuh orang tua, lingkungan sosial, karakter siswa, sekolah Islam terpadu  Abstract: This study aims to determine the main factors characteristic of students of Junior High School. Schools apply character education as curriculum development based on national education curriculum. The method used in this research is survey with correlational approach with expost facto research design. The formation of character as a behavior developed from constructivism theory of learning, and social learning teory Bandura. Learning environment, parenting parenting, social environment, self concept, analyzed by correlation test to student character. The results showed that self-concept of 13%, social environment 72%, learning environment 22%, Parenting Parenting Pattern 18% to the formation of student characters and simultaneously all the variables have an effect of 57% on the formation of Sholeh, Muslih, Cerdas, Mandiri, and Skilled (SMART) students. Abstrak: Tulisan ini merupakan kajian kualitatif yang berupaya menggambarkan penerapan 5 nilai utama Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (agama, nasionalis, kemandirian, gotong royong dan integritas) serta nilai inti yang diprioritaskan di sekolah sasaran penelitian. Ini merupakan studi kasus di salah satu sekolah dasar di kota Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Kajian menggunakan pendekatan inductive reasoning. Penanaman dan penerapan nilai-nilai karakter sudah dilakukan melalui berbagai tema atau kegiatan. Beberapa hambatan muncul dalam penerapannya dan dapat diatasi dengan cara perbaikan jadwal, komunikasi, koordinasi antarpihak di sekolah dan orang tua, serta penyesuaian konsep Kurikulum 2013 dan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter sehingga selain 4C (Critical Thinking, Communication skill, Creativity dan Innovation, serta Collaboration) perlu dipertimbangkan peningkatan 3C (Communication, Coordination dan Cooperation) dalam Pendidikan Karakter.  Implementasi Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter didukung oleh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, warga sekolah, dan kerjasama sekolah dengan masyarakat dan lembaga lainnya. Kata kunci: pendidikan karakter, nilai karakter, penerapan, siswa, sekolah dasar Abstract: This study is a qualitative one that attempts to illustrate the implementation of the 5 main values of Strengthening Character Education (religious, nationalist, self-reliance, mutual cooperation and integrity) and other Core values that are prioritized in the target school. This is a case study in one of the primary schools in Mataram City, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia. The study used an inductive reasoning approach. Planting and implementing the values has been done through various themes or activities programs. Some obstacles emerged in the implementation activities and had been solve by rearranging schedule, communication, coordination between school’s elements and parents, adjustment between the concept of Curriculum 2013 and Strengthening Character Education, therefore besides 4C (Critical Thinking, Communication skill, Creativity and Innovation, and Collaboration), it is better to consider  to increase  3C (Communication, Coordination and Cooperation) in Character Education. In implementing this character education, there are supporting factors such as principal’s leadership, other elements of the school, and school network.Keywords: character education, character value, implementation, students, primary school.

ANALISIS MUATAN NILAI KARAKTER PADA BUKU AJAR KURIKULUM 2013 PEGANGAN GURU DAN SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR 分析2013年课程手册教师和小学生中的性格价值内容

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: 1) nilai-nilai karakter pada buku pegangan guru, 2) nilai-nilai karakter pada buku pegangan siswa, 3) kesesuaian nilai-nilai karakter pada buku ajar Kurikulum 2013 pegangan guru dan buku pegangan siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analisis konten. Subjek data yaitu buku ajar kurikulum 2013 pegangan guru dan pegangan siswa kelas V semester 1 yang terdiri atas lima tema yaitu tema benda-benda di lingkungan sekitar, peristiwa dalam kehidupan, kerukunan dalam bermasyarakat, sehat itu penting, dan bangga sebagai bangsa Indonesia. Unit analisisnya nilai-nilai karakter yang terkandung dalam buku ajar. Hasil penelitian yaitu: 1) buku pegangan guru mengembangkan semua nilai karakter yang dianalisis; 2) buku pegangan siswa pada tema benda-benda di lingkungan sekitar, tema kerukunan dalam bermasyarakat, dan tema bangga sebagai bangsa Indonesia tidak mengembangkan nilai karakter jujur. Nilai karakter percaya diri muncul dengan frekuesi terbanyak pada buku pegangan guru maupun pada buku pegangan siswa. Nilai karakter jujur muncul dengan frekuensi paling sedikit pada buku pegangan guru dan buku pegangan siswa; 3) nilai karakter pada buku pegangan guru dan pegangan siswa pada tema benda-benda di lingkungan sekitar, tema peristiwa dalam kehidupan, dan tema sehat itu penting telah sesuai. Kata kunci: nilai-nilai karakter, buku ajar kurikulum 2013, sekolah dasar. AN ANALYSIS OF CONTENT OF CHARACTER VALUES IN THE TEXTBOOK OF 2013 CURRICULUM FOR HANDBOOKS OF TEACHER AND STUDENT IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Abstract: This research aims to analyze (1) the character value in teacher handbook content, (2) the character value in student handbook content, (3) the suitability of the character value in course-bookcurriculum 2013 teacher handbook and student handbook. The data soucse used in this study was course-book of curriculum 2013 teacher handbook and student handbook of the grade V of elementary school in the first semester includes five themes: namely objects in the surrounding environmet, events in life, harmony in society, healthy is important, and pround as a nation of Indonesia. The unit analysis of this research was the character contained in the course-book. The result of this study are: 1) Teacher handbooks within each theme have been developing all the character values, namely religious, honest, discipline, responsible, polite, care, confidence, and love of the country; 2) Student handbooks in surrounding environmet theme, harmony in society, and pround as a nation of Indonesia did not develop the values of honesty; 3) Character value in teacher handbooks and students hanbooks on surrounding environmet theme, events in life theme, and healthy are important theme that have been appropriate. Keyword: character values, textbook of curriculum 2013, elementary school

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan dan mengungkapkan keefektifan media video animasi pada subtema cara hidup manusia, hewan dan tumbuhan yang layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan karkater demokratis siswa kelas V SD di Kecamatan Ketanggungan, Brebes. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini mengacu pada langkah yang dikembangkan oleh Borg Gall. Desain pengembangan meliputi sembilan langkah, yaitu: (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan produk awal, (4) uji coba lapangan awal, (5) revisi produk awal, (6) uji coba lapangan, (7) revisi produk hasil uji lapangan, (8) uji coba lapangan operasional, (9) dan revisi produk akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video animasi efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan karakter demokratis siswa kelas V SD di Kecamatan Ketanggungan. Keefektifan dapat dilihat dari perbedaan signifikan skor motivasi dan karakter sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media video animasi. Kata kunci: media video animasi, motivasi belajar, karakter demokratis. DEVELOPING ANIMATION VIDEO MEDIA TO ENHANCE THE LEARNING MOTIVATION AND DEMOCRATIC CHARACTER OF THE 5TH GRADE STUDENTS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL Abstract This research aims to produce and describe the effectiveness of a viable animation video media on the Subtheme Cara Hidup Manusia, Hewan dan Tumbuhan to increase the learning motivation and character of democratic of the 5th grade students of SD (Primary School) Kecamatan Ketanggungan, Brebes. This research and development refered to the steps formulated by Borg and Gall. The developmental design consisted of nine steps: (1) preliminary study, (2) planning, (3) preliminary product development, (4) preliminary field testing, (5) main product revision, (6) main field testing, (7) operational product revision, (8) operational field testing, (9) final product revision. The result of the study shows that the developed animation video media is effective for increasing the learning motivation and democratic character of the 5th grade students of SD Kecamatan Ketanggungan, Brebes.
