The purpose of this study is to describe the value of characters found in fairy tales. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with content analysis techniques. The theory used is the theory of children's literature and character education. Source of research data in the form of a fairy tale entitled The Story of Candidate Charcoal by Pramoedya Ananta Toer totaling 100 pages published by PT. Lantern Dipantara in 2003. Data validity was tested using data triangulation and method triangulation. Data analysis is carried out in stages: a) identification of fairy tales as research objects; b) data reduction; c) data presentation; d) interpretation of data according to children's literary theory and character education; e) inference (Miles & Huberman, 1994). The results of the study found fourteen character values, namely: wise, socially caring, fond of reading, prominence, compassion, democratic, good decision-makers, good citizens, care for the environment, religious, respectful, cooperation, curiosity, and brave character. This research shows that fairy tales can be used as teaching materials for character education. However, development research needs to be done regarding increasing crime in the community. Various efforts in transmitting the values of character education to students have been carried out both in the family, school, and community environment.

Pendidikan merupakan sarana pembentuk kepribadian bangsa. Pendidikan dapat menjadi sarana utama sebagai penguatan karakter bangsa. Dalam implementasinya pada kurikulum 2013, pengembangan bahan ajar menjadi salah satu kunci utama yang dapat diintegrasikan dengan penguatan karakter. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh informasi mengenai analisis kebutuhan tentang: (1) kebutuhan bahan ajar berbasis game based learning pada pembelajaran di kelas V SDN Bendogerit 2 Kota Blitar, (2) muatan pembelajaran yang memerlukan bahan ajar, (3) jenis bahan ajar yang dibutuhkan, (4) penguatan karakter yang terintegrasi dalam bahan ajar, dan (5) elemen yang terkandung di dalam bahan ajar tersebut. Subyek dari penelitian ini terdiri dari guru dan siswa kelas V SDN Bendogerit 2 Kota Blitar. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, angket, dan observasi. Hasil angket analisis kebutuhan yang diisi oleh siswa menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kebutuhan bahan ajar mencapai persentase 83,12%, dengan 2 diantara rinciannya adalah 85,6% setuju dengan adanya bahan ajar yang berbasis game based learning dan 75,9% setuju adanya penguatan karakter kreatif pada bahan ajar. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa diperlukan pengembangan secara berkelanjutan berupa bahan ajar berbasis game based learning yang terintegrasi karakter kreatif untuk tema ekosistem di kelas V SDN Bendogerit 2 Kota Blitar.

Urgensi perihal keberadaan pendidikan karakter terutama terkait nilai-nilai yang berbasis local culture, bukan hanya berlaku bagi anak didik normal, melainkan juga yang berkategori abnormal, misalnya para penyandang tunagrahita, terutama bagi kepentingan pembentukan jiwa nasionalisme dalam dirinya. Terkait dengan hal itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengintegrasian pendidikan karakter berbasis local culture melalui pembelajaran keterampian kriya kayu pada tunagrahita, khususnya yang ada di SLB Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-fenomenologis. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian dapat disampaikan sebagai berikut. Pengintegrasian pendidikan karakter berbasis local culture melalui pembelajaran keterampian kriya kayu pada tunagrahita dilaksanakan meliputi tahapan: analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan diskusi dengan guru kelas. Perencanaan pembelajaran dirumuskan menyesuaikan dengan kemampuan siswa penyandang tunagrahita. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan teknik demonstrasi dan project based learning. Evaluasi pembelajaran mencakup proses dan produk. Karya yang dihasilkan berupa hiasan dengan pelbagai ikon ornamen khas Yogyakarta, misalnya lambang kraton, tugu golong-gilig Yogyakarta, sepeda onthel, dan motif batik kawung. Seluruh produk karya seni tersebut, di samping bermakna estetis, juga bermakna filosofis. Kata kunci: Pendidikan karakter, local culture, pembelajaran kriya kayu, siswa tunagrahita. Regarding this, this particular study aimed to describe the integration of local culture-based character education in the wood crafts instruction for mentally retarded students, particularly the one conducted at SLB Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. This study used phenomenological-qualitative method. Meanwhile, the data for this study were taken from the results of observations, conducting interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the interactive model proposed by Miles and Huberman. The results of the analysis showed that the pactice of integrating local culture-based character education in wood crafts instruction for mentally retarded students in this school was conducted though the steps of conducting needs analysis, planning, doing actions, and evaluation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang hidup di masyarakat sehingga mampu menjadi pedoman hidup dalam membentuk karakter masyarakat setempat. Tulisan in merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Magelang Raya yang terdiri dari Kota Magelang dan Kabupaten Magelang dari Bulan Mei sampai dengan Bulan Agustus 2020. Subjek penelitian ditentukan dengan cara purposive, yakni tokoh-tokoh yang peham tentang kondisi masyarakat dan lingkungan Magelang. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan adanya nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang mampu membentuk karakter masyarakat Magelang Raya. Kearifan lokal tersebut terdiri dari: (1) unsur sosial masyarakat dengan adanya pondok atau masyarakat pesantren sehingga memberikan corak masyarakat yang religius dan patuh terhadap pemimpinnya, akademi militer yang mampu memberikan teladan karakter yang tanggung jawab, disiplin, patriotik, semangat kebangsaan; (2) unsur keberadaan situs sejarah Candi Borobudur yang membentuk masyarakat memiliki karakter toleransi untuk tetap menjaga keharmonisan dalam keberagaman; (3) unsur budaya atau kesenian musik Gejog Lesung yang sarat akan pesan moral untuk bersama dalam keberagaman dan berbeda dalam kebersamaan; (4) unsur alam dengan adanya Gunung Tidar yang memiliki banyak prasasti dengan tulisan Aksara Jawa yang mengandung falsafah hidup sarat akan pesan moral untuk membentuk karakter jujur, bertanggung jawab, rendah hati, saling tolong menolong, dan menghindari kekerasan dalam setiap penyelesaian masalah dalam kehidupan.

SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan Sidoarjo merupakan sekolah yang menerapkan pembentukan karakter pada setiap program sekolah. Program sekolah yang dijalankan didalam kelas terintegrasi dengan mata pelajaran, termasuk mata pelajaran ekonomi. Proses pembelajaran ekonomi mengarahkan peserta didik untuk bisa disiplin dan bertanggung jawab akan pekerjaan yang diberikan. Tolok ukur keberhasilan mereka adalah hasil belajar yang diperlihatkan. Melalui hasil belajar tercermin sikap peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis adanya pengaruh antara pembentukan karakter disiplin, dan pembentukan karakter bertanggungjawab terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi materi persamaan dasar akuntansi. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif model hubungan variabel ganda menggunakan dua variabel independen. Sampel yang digunakan berasal dari peserta didik kelas XII IIS SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan Sidoarjo berjumlah 85 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, studi pustaka dan kuesioner. Instrument penelitian menggunakan skala skala likert. Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial antara pembentukan karakter disiplin terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi materi persamaan dasar akuntansi. Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial antara pembentukan karakter bertanggung jawab terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi materi persamaan dasar akuntansi. Secara simultan pembentukan karakter disiplin dan bertanggung jawab berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi materi persamaan dasar akuntansi.

Program sekolah yang dijalankan didalam kelas terintegrasi dengan mata pelajaran, termasuk mata pelajaran ekonomi. Proses pembelajaran ekonomi mengarahkan peserta didik untuk bisa disiplin dan bertanggung jawab akan pekerjaan yang diberikan. Tolok ukur keberhasilan mereka adalah hasil belajar yang diperlihatkan. Melalui hasil belajar tercermin sikap peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis adanya pengaruh antara pembentukan karakter disiplin, dan pembentukan karakter bertanggungjawab terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi materi persamaan dasar akuntansi. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif model hubungan variabel ganda menggunakan dua variabel independen. Sampel yang digunakan berasal dari peserta didik kelas XII IIS SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan Sidoarjo berjumlah 85 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, studi pustaka dan kuesioner. Instrument penelitian menggunakan skala skala likert. Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial antara pembentukan karakter disiplin terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi materi persamaan dasar akuntansi. Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial antara pembentukan karakter bertanggung jawab terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi materi persamaan dasar akuntansi. This study aims to describe the reasons for applying the cultural, humanistic, and nationalism approaches by school principals in supporting transformational leadership behavior. In addition, to explore the steps of the principal's transformational leadership role based on three forms of approach in the implementation of character education strengthening programs. This study used a qualitative approach, case study design. Data collection through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and learn documentation. Data analysis used a modified analytic analysis method. The level of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability examines the validity of the data. The research findings explain that culture or tradition greatly influences the school environment, personal excellence, and encouragement to revive the humanistic spiritual inspirational figure, as well as the image of the school foundation managed by the Military unit, Kodam V-Brawijaya, being the basic reason that inspires the principal to use a cultural, humanistic approach, and nationalism. Besides that the steps of the principal's transformational leadership role based on cultural, humanistic, and nationalism approaches have an effective effect in optimizing the implementation of character education strengthening in schools.

Education in the 21st Century currently requires students to be intelligent and of character. Because of the various demands that teachers must have in order to meet all current learning goals, knowledge and skills, sometimes the teacher forgets to focus on shaping student character. This is reflected in the increasing crime, violations of human rights, legal injustice, and various forms of bad behavior that are increasingly reaching all sectors of life. The teacher has an important role to overcome these problems. Based on this background, this study aims to determine teacher perceptions regarding the formation of student characters. This research is a descriptive study with a questionnaire collection technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet. The questionnaire was developed via Google form and distributed online through social media whatsup on the group discussion group of English subjects in West Sumatra. The number of respondents who filled out the questionnaire was 62 teachers. The results show that for now some teachers have integrated the strengthening of student character through intracuricular, extracurricular, and non-curricular activities.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) bentuk nilai-nilai karakter, dan (2) penyebaran muatan nilai-nilai karakter dalam setiap Bab. Penelitan ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis isi (content analysis) yang dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahap yaitu: (1) pengadaan data; (2) pencatatan data; (3) reduksi; (4) inferensi/penarikan kesimpulan; dan (5) deskripsi hasil penelitian. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah buku teks Bahasa Indonesia Kelas XI Kurikulum 2013 Revisi 2017. Sedangkan, objeknya adalah nilai karakter yang terkandung dalam teks atau kalimat yang tersebar pada buku. Hasil penelitiannya adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Buku teks Bahasa Indonesia Kelas XI mengandung 18 nilai karakter sesuai dengan pedoman PPK dan Kemendikbud. Nilai karakter yang muncul paling banyak adalah bersahabat komunikatif, disiplin, dan tanggung jawab. Sedangkan paling sedikit adalah semangat kebangsaan, cinta damai, dan peduli lingkungan. Karakteristik dari nilai karakter yang muncul adalah berdiri sendiri, berdampingan dengan karakter lain, dan muncul secara berulang-ulang. (2) Penyebaran muatan nilai-nilai karakter dalam setiap Bab adalah cukup merata. Dalam Bab I dan III memiliki muatan nilai karakter paling banyak yaitu 16 jenis. Sedangkan Bab VII paling sedikit yaitu hanya sembilan nilai karakter. Penyebaran nilai karakter diintegrasikan melalui materi pembelajaran, menunjukkan nilai karakter melalui cerita atau contoh teks, serta mempraktikannya dalam aktivitas pembelajaran.

Abstract: This study wants to explore and examine the relationship between potential factors and the student's moral reasoning. Reasoning on moral decisions occurred when students should make a judgment of pursuing their academic goals. Several studies have tried to explain this from various perspectives. Every student was taken for granted to understand his ethical decisions in the academic process. However, the understanding showed that moral awareness has not correlated with the academic score (GPA) and gender variable. This research used quantitative method. The participants in this research were 521 students from 29 departments. The moral reasoning scale was measured by construct validity. Covariate analysis was used to generate a multivariable model. Based on the neutralization theory, the research found that the tendency to make justifications on immoral behaviour is higher for male students and is significantly done by the students at the GPA's level ranging from 2.01 to 2.5. The characteroriented learning process is essential to help students in developing their moral awareness. Lack of understanding of how moral decisions to be made indicates a gap in the academic process which is dominated cognitive aspect. Imposing sanctions without character training does not provide a solution to problems that appear to be a small issue in education but can have a significant detrimental impact when the student immerses and works in society.Keywords: socio-demographics, moral reasoning, education, students ‘SAYA TAHU APA YANG SAYA LAKUKAN ITU SALAH, TETAPI…’: INVESTIGASI FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENALARAN MORAL MAHASISWA (ABSENSI) Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi dan menguji hubungan antara faktor-faktor potensial dan penalaran moral siswa. Penalaran keputusan moral terjadi ketika siswa harus membuat keputusan untuk mengejar tujuan akademis mereka. Beberapa penelitian telah mencoba menjelaskan hal ini dari berbagai sudut pandang. Setiap siswa dianggap biasa untuk memahami keputusan etisnya dalam proses akademik. Namun, pemahaman tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran moral tidak berhubungan dengan variabel nilai akademik (IPK) dan jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 521 mahasiswa dari 29 jurusan. Skala penalaran moral diukur dengan validitas konstruk. Analisis kovariat digunakan untuk menghasilkan model multivariabel. Berdasarkan teori netralisasi, penelitian menemukan bahwa kecenderungan pembenaran atas perilaku asusila lebih tinggi pada mahasiswa laki-laki dan secara signifikan dilakukan oleh mahasiswa pada level IPK berkisar antara 2,01 sampai 2,5. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi persepsi mahasiswa calon guru matematika tentang pendidikan karakter melalui keteladanan TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid. Studi ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif eksploratif, dengan responden 42 mahasiswa calon guru matematika di Universitas Hamzanwadi Lombok Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup dengan skala likert dan telah divalidasi (validasi ahli). Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan Moderat Regression Analysis (MRA) pada taraf signifikansi 5% (α = 0,05). Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa: (1) persepsi mahasiswa calon guru matematika tentang pendidkkan karakter melalui keteladanan TGKH. Muhammad Zainudin Abdul Majid dikategorikan Baik; (2) ada pengaruh pengetahuan mahasiswa terhadap persepsi mahasiswa tentang pendidikan karakter melalui keteladanan TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid; (3) ada pengaruh pengetahuan mahasiswa dimediasi keaktifan keluarga mahasiswa dalam organisasi NW, keaktifan mahasiswa dalam organisasi NW, dan dukungan perguruan tinggi terhadap persepsi mahasiswa pendidikan karakter melalui keteladanan TGKH. Kata Kunci: pendidikan karakter, keteladanan, persepsi mahasiswa CHARACTER EDUCATION THROUGH EXEMPLARY OF TGKH MUHAMMAD ZAINUDDIN ABDUL MAJID: PROSPECTIVE TEACHER’S PERCEPTION Abstract: This study aims to explore the perceptions of mathematics’prospective-teachers about character education through exemplary of TGKH Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid. This study is a descriptive exploratory study, in which the respondents were 42 mathematics prospective-teachers at Hamzanwadi University, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a likert scale and has been validated (expert validation). The data of research were analyzed descriptively and statistically (inferential statistics) with Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) at a significance level of 5% (α = 0.05).
