Children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) may have difficulties performing daily activities in their daily lives. Within this context, techniques are developed to awaken the skills necessary to carry out such activities. In this sense, the current project presents an embedded system composed of a mobile application and an interactive panel, which 1. The project’s development was based on applying the visual cues technique, an interactive panel with light-emitting diodes (LEDs), with images of a certain task in order, serving as an interactive tutorial. In addition to the panel, a mobile application was developed that helps memorize and assimilate the tasks to be performed. The interactive panel, through button clicks, signals errors and successes during each step of the proposed activity and sends the data to a cloud storage system. The mobile application works as a memorization activity, in which the user must select the images in the correct order. In the end, a report tab is filled in by the child’s guardian and sent to the professional, informing the child’s behavior during the activity.

Nuevo método para la estimación de los parámetros de los sistemas dinámicos de segundo orden sobreamortiguados 估计过阻尼二阶动力系统参数的新方法

Resumen—Para el poder realizar el diseño del sistema de control es necesario disponer de un modelo matemático del sistema objeto del control que sea lo más preciso, de manera que los resultados de la implementación sean los esperados. Diversos métodos han sido planteados para determinar los párametros del sistema, algunos de ellos usan la curva de respuesta al escalón y con base en la información de algunos puntos de la curva, gene-ralmente dos, y con ayuda de gráficos y curvas estandarizadas se determinan los parámetros [1]–[3]. Otros métodos hacen uso de técnicas de identificación como mínimos cuadrados [4], [5], o mediante algoritmos genéticos [6], [7]. Este artículo plantea la determinación de los parámetros de la función de transferencia para un sistema de segundo orden sobreamortiguado, ξ, ωo y KDC, a partir de la información de dos puntos de la curva de respuesta al escalón, pero a diferencia de otros planteamientos basados en los parámetros antes mencionados [8], [9], se expresa el problema en términos de p1, α y KDC, siendo p1 el polo dominante, α la razón entre p1 y p2, el polo más veloz (p2/p1 = α) y KDC, por lo que la estimación está basada en expresiones analíticas para p1 y ξ. Algunos de los métodos gráficos planteados se mencionan, luego de lo cual se indica el método para la estimación de los parámetros KDC, p1 y α, de forma analítica a partir de la expresión de la señal de salida en términos de KDC, p1 y α, mediante el uso de dos puntos, y a través de ellos la determinación de ξ y ω0, todo lo anterior sin el uso de gráficos como lo indicado por [1], [2], [11]. Finalmente se realiza un ejemplo a partir de la simulación de un sistema eléctrico sobreamortiguado para el cual se aplica el método propuesto y los diversos métodos indicados, con el cual se aprecia los resultados logrados mediante la aplicación de lo propuesto.

Real-time processing of electromyography signals using artificial neural networks 利用人工神经网络实时处理肌电信号

The processing of electromyography (EMG) signals is complex due to the stochastic nature of the signal itself. Artificial neural networks (ANN) computationally implement a type of processing similar to that of the human brain, which is appropriate for these signals, and are one of the valid techniques used for their processing. Using supervised learning algorithms; with ANNs it is possible to identify patterns in EMG signal recordings. With this, it is possible to build an interface that allows us to interact with technological devices. In this work, a trained ANN is implemented using the records of 3 types of movement. The network must be able to identify: twisting of the wrist, extension of the fingers of the hand and contraction of the arm. Data acquisition and network implementation are performed using a microcontroller for signal conversion and a Python computational environment. A sequential network structure was established, whose output indicates the probability that the input corresponds to one of the patterns to be classified. A database was created for the training and validation of the network. Analyzing the results obtained by it, we see that a precision level of 88% was reached on the training set and 84% on the validation set, which shows the viability of this type of processing for pattern classification.

Estudio de potencial de generación eólica y diseño de perfil asimétrico para un aerogenerador Darrieus tipo H 达瑞厄斯H型风力发电机风力发电潜力研究及非对称剖面设计

El uso de aerogeneradores en espacios urbanos es una alternativa de generación de energía eléctrica, con el potencial de aportar al cumplimiento de la creciente demanda energética mediante el aprovechamiento de los recursos renovables. Contribuyendo en la disminución de los efectos adversos del cambio climático como consecuencia de las nocivas actividades antropogénicas, teniendo la capacidad de ser una alternativa de generación de energía que puede funcionar en conjunto a la generación fotovoltaica. Entre los aerogeneradores que pueden posicionarse en las cimas de las edificaciones urbanas, destaca el aerogenerador de eje vertical Darrieus tipo H por su funcionamiento omnidireccional ante las ráfagas de viento, así como su facilidad de instalación, mantenimiento y fabricación. Si bien estas ventajas lo muestran como un candidato ideal para la producción de energía eólica en entornos urbanos, presenta la desventaja de requerir altas velocidades del viento para poder auto arrancar. Por lo cual, el diseño de un perfil aerodinámico asimétrico se muestra como una alternativa con el potencial de conseguir mayores coeficientes de sustentación y bajos coeficientes de arrastre ante bajos números de Reynolds. Por tal motivo, en este trabajo se presenta un estudio del potencial eólico con respecto al punto de ubicación futuro de un aerogenerador, con el fin de conocer las franjas horarias y los meses con mayores velocidades del viento. Teniendo presente las condiciones ambientales de la zona, se diseñaron perfiles aerodinámicos con la ayuda del programa Javafoil, realizando modificaciones en el espesor y ángulo de deflexioín en el borde de salida, partiendo como base de los perfiles asimétricos LS(1)-0413 y s813. De esta forma se seleccionaron los perfiles idóneos para números de Reynolds entre 10.000 y 90.000.

Formación basada en Control en el Espacio del Cluster de un ASV y un UAV para monitoreo de cuencas fluviales 用于河流流域监测的ASV和无人机集群空间控制训练

Las aplicaciones con pequeños vehículos no tripulados han crecido notablemente en los últimos años. Junto a ello, el interés y la necesidad de realizar tareas utilizando varios de estos vehículos fue cobrando relevancia.En este trabajo se presenta el uso de una formación basada en la teícnica de control en el espacio del cluster entre un vehículo no tripulado de superficie y uno aéreo, con el objetivo de realizar monitoreo de cuencas fluviales. La diferente percepción del entorno que cada vehículo posee y la capacidad de transportar diferentes sensores son características fundamentales para este tipo de aplicación. Se presentan resultados tanto en entorno de simulación como en una aplicación real con vehículos no tripulados pertenecientes a los grupos de investigación.

Community Food Environments, exploring a geomatic vision of regional scale 社区食物环境,探索区域尺度的地理视野

It is known that characteristics of community food environments (CFEs) affect the health of populations. At present, no literature supports an effective and efficient method to approach the study of CFEs at both local and regional scales in a comprehensive manner. In Latin America, research is focused the most on the study of food supply stores and their relationship with health outcomes, generally at the local scale. This paper aims to present a complete review and proposal of the change of scale of CFEs problem, taking as an example the geospatial analysis of the food environment of localities with more than 5000 inhabitants in the province of Cordoba. According to 2010 National Census, 95 localities were selected in Cordoba with a population greater than or equal to 5000 inhabitants. Obesity data were extracted from the first National Nutrition and Health Survey (2005). Based on the state-of-the-art, some indicators were selected to characterize the three dimensions (Political, Environmental, and Individual) of CFEs proposed by Glanz et al. [1]. Pearson´s correlation between indicators of CFE was calculated in R software (p< 0.05). Based on the approach proposed by Alvarez DiFino et al. [2], maps were developed in RGB colors to show the conformation of CFEs based on their three dimensions. Finally, an XGBoost model was run to identify the most influential variables on obesity, and to determine the relative importance of each variable within the model, SHapley Additive exPlanations library was used. A mild positive correlation was observed between the number of preschoolers with obesity and socioeconomic status (r=0.30) and a mild negative correlation between the number of obese preschoolers and health vulnerability index (r=-0.30). The generated RGB map shows clearly that the south of the province (localities with higher importance of individual dimension) showed a lower number of cases of obesity compared to the north- northwest of the territory (cities with a higher environmental component and a lower political dimension). Variables and their values, most influential in the obesity modelling were the higher average vegetation index, followed by a lower level of chronic poverty and a higher level of risk of food insecurity. The methods applied to study the CFEs in Latin America are not replicable on a large scale. Our proposal is feasible and shows great potential, considering not only the use of resources but also the incorporation of factors involved in the genesis of a health problem to facilitate efficient decision-making.

At present, no literature supports an effective and efficient method to approach the study of CFEs at both local and regional scales in a comprehensive manner. In Latin America, research is focused the most on the study of food supply stores and their relationship with health outcomes, generally at the local scale. This paper aims to present a complete review and proposal of the change of scale of CFEs problem, taking as an example the geospatial analysis of the food environment of localities with more than 5000 inhabitants in the province of Cordoba. According to 2010 National Census, 95 localities were selected in Cordoba with a population greater than or equal to 5000 inhabitants. Obesity data were extracted from the first National Nutrition and Health Survey (2005). Based on the state-of-the-art, some indicators were selected to characterize the three dimensions (Political, Environmental, and Individual) of CFEs proposed by Glanz et al. [1]. Pearson´s correlation between indicators of CFE was calculated in R software (p< 0.05). Based on the approach proposed by Alvarez DiFino et al. [2], maps were developed in RGB colors to show the conformation of CFEs based on their three dimensions. Finally, an XGBoost model was run to identify the most influential variables on obesity, and to determine the relative importance of each variable within the model, SHapley Additive exPlanations library was used. A mild positive correlation was observed between the number of preschoolers with obesity and socioeconomic status (r=0.30) and a mild negative correlation between the number of obese preschoolers and health vulnerability index (r=-0.30). In order to encourage the reduction of the fossil fuels consumption and obtain biofuels with competitive prices in the energy market, it is necessary to have economic bioprocesses with high production yields. Residual sludge contains compounds with potential application in environmental engineering, such as the socalled extracellular polymeric substances, which protect cells against environmental factors. In this study, the production of methane in sewage sludge is sought by optimizing the sludge feed profile to the reactor where anaerobic digestion will take place. The optimization of fed-batch bioprocesses is a current challenge, on which we must focus. An innovative method will be applied from which the objective is achieved, through the use of dynamic optimization based on the Fourier series and orthogonal polynomials combined with evolutive algorithms. This tool has the advantages of obtaining smooth profiles (continuous and derivable), which broadens the field of action and avoids overparameterization, since it uses a minimum number of parameters for optimization.

This work presents an application of the multivariable linear regression method for prediction of electrical energy consumption considering variations in room temperature. The study was carried out in the Engineering Faculty building of the National University of Misiones (UNaM), where a mathematical regression model was defined. The results obtained show that the proposed model allows to predict satisfactorily the electrical energy consumption through the correlation with of room temperature variations.

The Snow Water Equivalent (SWE) provides information about the volume of water accumulated within the snowpack. The SWE estimates with advanced remote sensing techniques are still a challenge in several basins around the world. In this work, Differential Interferometry techniques are used to estimate SWE variations in a basin of the Central Andes of Argentina using SAOCOM data in L-band. This method has not been tested yet with these data. Therefore, this work constitutes a first approximation to the estimation of the SWE using L-band data, identifying scope and limitations of the applied methodology. Two interferometric pairs of to the winter of 2021 were used. The SWE InSAR estimates showed a difference of 0.66 mm of SWE with respect to the field measurement for one pair, while in the other, the difference was 24.2 mm. Results of this work are promising, and it is expected to apply this technique in other basins over the arid and semi-arid Andes range.

Este trabajo es una continuación de un estudio previamente presentado en 2020 en el marco del proyecto de Ciudades Inteligentes del Instituto de Investigaciones Científicas y Tecnológicas en Electrónica. En dicha entrega se discutió sobre el análisis de los datos de calidad de la energía en algunas instalaciones edilicias de la universidad. En el presente trabajo se propone procesar parte de los datos recopilados para realizar pronósticos de valores futuros y estimaciones de variables desconocidas o poco conocidas. Se presentan algunos resultados preliminares y se plantean las líneas de acción futuras a realizar, así como las dificultades halladas.
