The present work continues a cycle of the works, devoted to research of influence of low electric fields on physical and chemical properties of the crystal structures grown in them. Objects of research is monocrystal of azide (chloride, bromide) of silver (alkaline of metals), grown in the noncontact constant electric field (intensity of electric field varied in a range from 10-4 to 100 V/m). Is established the influence of the low electric field on the size, the degree of optical purity and conductivity of crystals grown in field. Crystallization of inorganic salts in the electric field allows gaining chemically the pure of crystal with minimal containing of defects. The crystals grown in the electric field are characterized by weak reactionary ability what shown by the results of studies of photochemical decomposition of thermal decomposition and of electro-field decomposition of sample. The use of the patented method of growing crystal in low electric fields allows to obtain crystals of the specified sizes and reactionary ability with minimum variance, with a minimum content of defects.

In the paper, the problems of design of the parallel space switching systems is considered. The shortcomings of crossbar switches are analyzed as well as the possibilities of design of parallel switching in multistage systems. There is also a description of the structure of parallel cross switch, which is the basic one in building the ladder circuits. The structure of the switching elements of the parallel space switching systems is described as well. The parallel space switching systems based on such switch cabins will allow to reduce the connection time and losses caused by the congestion of the general control unit.

We have successfully prepared the luminescent material of Sr2(P2O7):Ce3+, Tb3+ by the method of the chemical co-precipitation. The phase structure, surface morphology and fluorescence properties were investigated by the scanning electronic microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and photoluminescence (PL). It showed that the luminescent material is composed of the pure Sr2(P2O7) phase, and there no phases of rare earth phosphate appeared. The SEM micrographs showed uniform particles with good crystallinity of luminescent material synthesized at 1100°C. PL spectrum showed the luminescent material fluorescence effect best with nSr: nTb= 100: 1, nTb: nCe=2:3, sintering at 1100°C, the optimal heat preservation time was 3h.

This research is an analysis of stiffener plate dimensions at the column base of the overhanging traffic sign post under effect on vehicle-induced gusts. The finite element analysis (FEA) result is compared with the result form computation using mathematical equation and an experimental result which cited from Fongsamootr T. and Chartpuk P. [2006]. It is found that the FEA result has deviation about 1% and 8% respectively. Traffic sign post structure is exerted by three forces in the same time; body force, Vehicle-Induced Gusts and wind load. The higher stiffener plate leads to decrease of maximum stress at the column base. Height extension of stiffener plate from 250 to 350 mm with fixed thickness and base width leads to increase in the safety factor of column and stiffener plate. Rectangular stiffener plate with cut off a corner (type C) is the best type for supporting the base of traffic sign post column. Cutting of a corner of rectangular stiffener plate results increase of stress in itself but less than maximum stress in traffic sign post column.

In recent years, VPN (Virtual Private Network) technology has become one of the most important services in multinational companies around the world because of its security, convenience, real-time and low construction cost. However in traditional VPN technology including overlay VPN (ATM, Frame-Relay) and Peer-to-Peer VPN (IP-routing), more and more disadvantages have emerged such as complex management and implementation, lack of availability and expansibility, customer address-overlapping, etc. Compared to traditional VPN, MPLS VPN (Multi-Protocol Label Switching VPN) is a real good solution and has its own technology features and functions such as FEC, VRF, MPBGP, VPNv4 address and so on to overcome the disadvantages above. In this paper we analyze and research the features and functions of MPLS VPN as well as the weaknesses of traditional VPN mentioned in detail, later a vivid experiment is given to demonstrate the excellent performance of MPLS VPN.

Coal mine underground work is a high risk of work. To guarantee the safety of miners' life and the positioning of a miner's location exactly on real time are important tasks. ZigBee technique, for its low power consumption, low cost and convenience, is proper to be used in the positioning system for underground coal mine [1]. In this paper, a new positioning algorithm for coal mine underground based on ZigBee technology is proposed, in which NNSS (Nearest Neighboring signal strength) is adopted for preliminary location, and then DTM (dynamic triangular measurement) locating method is employed for precise ranging and position. The system with the algorithm for coal mine enterprises provides personnel tracking, monitoring and other functions [2]. When an accident happens, the system can determine positions of miners and numbers of miners in time, to ensure emergent rescues and guarantee the life safety with high efficiency.

For the first time a dielectric hysteresis is observed in a polycrystalline lithium-titanium ferrite in the temperature range 475-575 K. A thermal Barkhausen effect is detected during heating and cooling of ferrite specimens prepolarized in an electric field. The results provide evidence on the formation of properties similar to ferroelectricones in lithium-titanium ferrites under certain conditions.
