The graduates quality is an indicator of the school success in carrying out its function to improve the quality of graduates at schools. To improve graduates quality, the principal plays an important role in applying his/her roles, functions and strategies. This study aims to examine the strategies used by the principal in improving graduates quality in SMA Negeri 1 Batusangkar. The methodology used in this research is qualitative descriptive method in form of case study. Case study research aims to reveal a case that occured in a certain place at a certain time. The result of this study indicated that there are three main strategies applied by the principal in improving graduates quality both in quality and quantity. These strategies are through the superior program owned by the school, the strategy of developing work program for principal deputies of each field (curriculum, students-realtions, public relations, and facilities), and the strategy for developing the quality of human resources, including students. The recommendations and suggestions from this research for the future is the principal can cooperate optimally with those involved in the school to be able to develop strategies, models, teachniques, methods and approaches to improve graduates quality. Keyword: Graduates quality, Principal, Principal’s Strategy Abstrak: Mutu lulusan merupakan indikator keberhasilan sebuah lembaga sekolah dalam menjalankan fungsinya. Dalam upaya peningkatan mutu lulusan di sekolah, kepala sekolah sangat berperan penting dalam mengaplikasikan peran, fungsi serta strateginya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah bentuk strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu lulusan di SMA Negeri 1 Batusangkar. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dalam bentuk studi kasus. Studi kasus yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan suatu kasus yang terjadi disuatu tempat dalam waktu tertentu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada 3 strategi utama kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu lulusan baik secara kualitas maupun kuantitas. Strategi yang dipilih oleh kepala SMA Negeri 1 Batusangkar dalam meningkatkan mutu lulusan adalah melalui strategi program unggulan yang dimiliki sekolah, strategi pengembangan program kerja

The discussion of this article will analyze and describe the role of school committee administrators as a consideration body, a support agency, as a controlling body and as a mediator body, in improving the quality of education during the covid-19 pandemic. The role of the school committee management is very large and has a lot of benefits for increasing student discipline in learning. The method of this article uses a descriptive qualitative approach that seeks to understand the various concepts found in the research process. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research by placing procedures or scientific methods to obtain data with a specific purpose. This study uses observation, documentation, and interviews to obtain conditions for the object to be studied. with this discussion are the types and sources of secondary data that will be used in finding the results of this discussion. The results of this study indicate that the school committee management at MTsN 6 Tanah Datar has a very important role in efforts to improve student discipline during this Covid-19 period. Furthermore, the efforts made by the school committee management in improving discipline during the COVID19 pandemic can be seen in their involvement in efforts to participate in decision making. Meanwhile, the obstacles they face during this pandemic are the parents' lack of awareness of their children about children's education, especially since learning is currently in the form of online/on-line. Fostering good relations and cooperation between school committee administrators and parents/guardians is a solution taken by school committee administrators in improving student learning discipline.

In the all-digital era and the era of information and communication openness coupled with the pandemic period, causing various and varied conflicts in various fields of life. conflict is motivated by various things, and managers must immediately resolve the existing conflict, and it will have a negative impact if it is not handled properly. In the world of education, conflicts between schools and parents often occur, especially in the digital era and the use of social media in interacting indirectly which often creates assumptions and prejudices that lead to conflict. In this article, the author examines the causes of conflict between the school and the guardians of students on social media and their management using a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were several school managers, institutional coaches and guardians of students. The results of the study show that many conflicts occur in social media due to misunderstandings, egos and prejudices that are put forward. The solution is in the form of a spiritual, personal, crosscheck and deliberation approach.

The leadership style of a principal certainly affects the progress of the school, including graduates, teacher performance and so on. The purpose of this study was to find out what leadership style is used by the principal at MTsM Sulit Air through teacher responses. The research method used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were conducted using interview, observation and documentation studies. The research subjects were teachers at MTsM Sulit Air. The leadership style of the head of MTsM Sulit Air that stands out is a transformative and democratic leadership style. This can be seen from the results of the study which can be concluded that the principal is responsible in every task, is ready to accept the risks of what he does, accepts criticism, consults when there are problems and many other principals' attitudes that support the principal's transformative leadership style and also democratic.

Many formal schools in Indonesia such as An-NurBululawang Vocational School implemented Al-Qur'an learning programs for students. This school has been implementing Al-Quran learning for years but the learning management still has problems.This study uses a qualitative method with the type of case study research which aims to develop strategies for improving the quality of Al-Qur'an learning. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and verification. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The steps to improve the quality of Al-Qur'anlearning in Vocational High School An-NurBululawang Malang consist of: a) Planning. b) Implementation. c) Evaluation. d) Follow-up; 2) The implications of improving the quality of Al-Qur'an learning for Vocational High School An-NurBululawang Malang include a) Expansion of the organizational structure. b) Determination of quality standards for Al-Qur'an learning. c) Building the image of the school, and d) Implementation of continuous supervision and evaluation. The previous problem was that the teacher still had difficulty determining the appropriate method. This new strategy makes it easier for teachers to manage Al-Qur'an learning by grouping students according to their respective abilities. This new management strategy improved the quality of Al-Qur'an learning.

The principal as the manager of SMP Negeri 12 Sijunjung was very enthusiastic in welcoming the concept of independent learning. Teachers and observers of education at SMP Negeri 12 Sijunjung hope that the concept of independent learning that will be applied by the school will bring positive changes to the development of the quality of education at that school because this will help provide students with the skills needed in the 21st century. The results showed that, planning in the literacy-based independent learning program in science learning at SMP Negeri 12 Sijunjung was conducted by holding deliberations with various related elements. Planning lessons was carried out in the classroom, and outside, planning in learning was cnducted by carrying out a literacy movement that has 2 goals, namely general goals and specific goals. Planning constraints in the literacy-based independent learning program in science learning at SMP Negeri 12 Sijunjung consists of 3 obstacles, namely: 1). Lack of human resources who can understand literacy programs properly and correctly; 2) time for literacy activities at school; and 3) the school library is only limited to the school library, and the library collection only provides school books, very few other additional books.

All Colleges implemented online learning after Covid-19 was declared as a pandemic in Indonesia. Still, only a few collegesget used to it. Many factors can be barriers to reach learning objectives. This study aims to describe the condition of students at one of the Colleges in Bandung using mixed-methods with development type. The first step wasthe spreading of a questionnaire via a short message application. As many as 153 respondents filled in the questionnaire from whom the data of the research were obtained and used. Data from the questionnaire were, then, processed and formed into several diagrams. After that, confirmation regarding the results of the diagram was carried out on several respondents to findtheir insight of what barriers that were actually felt by students. The results showed that the main barriers felt by studentsare regarding internet quotas. Lecturers need to design the most efficient and effective learning model so that learning objectives can be reached with all of the limited resources.

The OBE approach has already been practised in educational institutions in Malaysia, whether in primary, secondary, or higher education. The use of the OBE approach has become an alternative to traditional educational methodology, which prepares the students before entering the working world and to face the challenges of life after completing their studies. This study was conducted to measure the influence of the OBE approach on the Islamic Studies I course OBE achievement. 30 students who have taken the Islamic Studies I course in polytechnics have participated in this study. A set of questionnaires was used to obtain quantitative data and the data were analysed using SPSS 17. 0. The findings show that the contribution of self-regulated learning strategies towards the grade of Islamic Studies I was 13. 9%. Strategies frequently used by the respondents include; studying with friends, repeating and organizing. However, repeating has mostly contributed to the grade and followed by studying with friends. It is because students need to memorize verses and recitation of the daily prayers for the practical test. Islamic Studies I also involves group assignments which leads to the study groups approach. In conclusion, self-learning strategies have minimally contributed to achieving OBE.
