Control of Variable Flux Reluctance Motor in Field Weakening Region 变磁通磁阻电机在弱磁场区的控制

In this paper, the operating point of variable flux reluctance motors (VFRMs) using voltage and current limits in the field weakening region is investigated. The voltage and current limits of VFRM, which depend on the current capacity of the inverter and the voltage limit of the inverter, are investigated by using MATLAB/Simulink. The d-axis and q-axis currents are represented using a mathematical model of VFRM. According to the analyses, the control algorithm for VFRMs is investigated in the field weakening region. VFRM can properly operate in the constant power region with this method. The conventional inverter is used to supply required d-axis and q-axis currents to armature windings with the space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) technique. The DC/DC converter is used to control field windings. For the validation of the investigated control algorithm, 12 slots, 10 poles VFRM is implemented in MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation results show that the investigated field weakening method for VFRM controls the motor in constant power region and extends the speed range.

Characterization of Cold Plasma Glidarc Reactors 冷等离子体滑翔机反应堆的特性

An important aspect about the usage of electrical discharges cold plasma type is the fact that experimental results forego the science knowledge. Feasibility of different treatments with cold plasma leads us today to design and realize various types and principles which allow to obtain such electrical discharges. All that are realized with different nominal parameters and with performances which are difficult to be evaluated and compared. Nowadays, the passing from treatment feasibility with cold plasma to the mass scale utilization of these treatments impose more and more characterization and performance evaluation of cold plasma reactors. The current research proposes characterization of cold plasma reactors based on evaluation of active power of electrical discharges

V/f with stabilizing loops fast response control of Induction Motor (IM) drives V/f与稳定回路感应电机(IM)驱动的快速响应控制

V/f control method is standardly used for general induction motor drives due to its simplicity but, to provide good precision both for rated speed and for low speed applications, such as compressors, pumps, fans, etc., slip compensation current regulators or careful voltage referencing is used. More than that, the standard V/f response in torque (and speed) remains slow and does not handle properly smaller loads at smaller current, in comparison with sensorless field oriented (FOC) or direct torque (DTC) control.Therefore, within the paper, a simplified sensorless control for fast torque (and speed) response based on V/f control, with two correction loops, one loop for the voltage amplitude correction, the other one for the voltage phase correction is proposed. Both digital simulation and experimental results have been conducted to validate the proposed solution.

Remote Monitoring System for a Three-phase Electric Power Grid 三相电网远程监控系统

This paper presents a solution for the remote monitoring of a three-phase electrical power grid. The solution is made up of three main parts: the data acquisition module which, at its core, has an ADE7758 integrated energy meter and uses a LoRa module for data transmission, the gateway which receives the data sent by the data acquisition module and sends it further to the database and the web application written in PHP, which interprets and displays the collected data. The presented solution was tested in various power measurement scenarios including long-term reliability check in a public lighting network. It also easily integrates into many kinds of low-voltage power networks and proved to be a very cost-effective and reliable alternative to other similar smart energy monitoring systems.

Modelling and Virtual Testing of a Wound Rotor Synchronous Machine for Electrical Vehicles Propulsion System 电动汽车推进系统绕线转子同步电机建模与虚拟测试

This paper presents a dq flux-linkage modeling approach and the virtual testing of a wound rotor synchronous machine that assures the propulsion of a battery electrical vehicle. The motor model, organised using Energetic Macroscopic Representation, is constructed based on a series of electromagnetic finite-element analysis defined by various armature and rotor excitation currents. The performances of the dq-model, together with its control and electronic units, are evaluated through virtual tests. Furthermore, the model accuracy is validated by comparing the simulation results with the experimental data obtained from different tests performed on a Renault ZOE Q90 car. Two test scenarios, an urban test and a highway one, are chosen in order to evaluate the precision and the reliability of the developed model under normal and maximum electrical vehicle speed conditions. The combination of dq-modeling and virtual testing represents a way to rapidly develop and validate high performance system models and accelerate time to market.

Improved control method for single-phase inverters with a minimalist power decoupling circuit 基于极简功率解耦电路的单相逆变器改进控制方法

Based on a minimalist active power decoupling circuit for single-phase inverters, this paper proposes an improved control solution that does not require sensing the DC-link current, as in previous implementations, but only the DC-link voltage. To prove effectiveness of this solution, the proposed inverter is tested with linear and non-linear output loads and the results are compared with the conventional inverter solution in terms of capacitance requirements. The simulation results of a 1kVA inverter, suitable for implementation with silicon carbide MOSFETs, shows that the proposed control method provides good performance under difficult operating conditions created by the nonlinear load.

Complexity of EEG Brain Signals Triggered by Fractal Visual Stimuli 分形视觉刺激触发脑电信号的复杂性

Fractality is observed in various repetitive structures within nature and humans, providing aesthetic beauty or specific functionalities. When viewing fractal structures, is there a fractal complexity connection between the brain activity and the fractal visual stimuli? In this paper we investigate the possible correlations between the complexity of both the synthetic fractal images and the response EEG signals during the fractal images visualization. We present the results using two complexity metrics: entropy and fractal dimension. While for images, the spatial and color domains are considered, for EEG signals, the time domain with its amplitude characteristics and power spectral density information are analyzed. Even though no significant linear correlations are observed between the complexity of perceived images and the complexity of brain responses, various non-linear trends emerge.

Laboratory electrical discharges that produce non-thermal plasma have been increasingly used for microbiological decontamination, surface treatment and depollution by the means of decomposing some complex molecules. This paper aims at providing a deeper understanding of the capacity that appears when using DBD type reactors. The focus of this study is the experimental basis for measuring the capacity at different electrical parameters provided by the two power supplies, one that provides impulse voltage with both polarities by using a half bridge topology and one that provides only positive polarity by using a flyback topology. The calculation of the capacity is extracted from the high voltage waveform of the discharge, by measuring the frequency that appears when the discharge takes place. The frequency of the discharge that appears depends on the stability of the high voltage output. (Abstract)

The calculation of the capacity is extracted from the high voltage waveform of the discharge, by measuring the frequency that appears when the discharge takes place. The frequency of the discharge that appears depends on the stability of the high voltage output. Measuring of electrical currents, voltage and resistance of an axial bearing 测量轴向轴承的电流、电压和电阻

Bearing currents induced in electrical motors driven with fast switching power electronic inverters lead to bearing surface damages on the raceway. This may be the case especially when the rotor is electrically connected to the earth potential of the system e.g. via the cogging wheels of a coupled gear. In this paper an axial bearing type 51208 is investigated at standstill and in rotation concerning the bearing resistance. The a-spot situations are estimated in standstill based on the measured signals. In rotation the bearing resistance is measured for a range of operating speeds from 0 rpm to 3000 rpm, a range of bearing currents from 0.5 A to 3 A, and two axial forces 180 N (rated condition), 800 N. A special test rig is designed to measure the bearing voltage and current signals without using mechanical brushes in the rotating system to eliminate the contact resistance of the brushes in the measured bearing signals. The results allow to predict the bearing electrical behavior at a bearing current flow through the ground.

HyperStudy Optimization of Induction Motors Finite Element Assisted Design 感应电机有限元辅助设计的HyperStudy优化

The paper presents results related to optimal configurations of the stator and rotor slots of a double-cage induction motor. The finite element assisted design and the optimization of the induction motor, based on Altair HyperStudy – Flux co-simulations, are focused on optimization using different algorithms and the decrease of the computation time of the optimization process. Design of Experiments (DOE) investigations are performed to determine the influence and the order of importance of the design variables on the objective functions, which are the efficiency correspondent to the rated state of motor operation and the starting torque.
