The paper addresses language variation in German language electronic communication. Rate of occurrence of ellipsis, abbreviations and inflektives in chat room and forum messages is shown to be correlated to situational characteristics of the genres. The authors maintain that type of communicative purpose, production circumstances, frequency of role switching, relations among participants are each associated with certain pragmatic functions of lexical and grammatical units, including the function of compression, demarcation, depiction, regulation and emotional expression.

During the pandemic (COVID-19) universities all over Russia frequently switch students to distance learning. Beforehand, online learning has been regarded as just an alternative to the traditional learning format. In modern conditions, it has become the only opportunity (in some cases) to continue education. The modern scientific and practical literature contains the results of studies of the possibilities and effectiveness of using distance technologies in certain segments of educational services. The objective of the research is to analyze scientific publications devoted to the problem of the quality of online education. The purpose of the study is to find the relationship between the quality of online education and the level of technological competence of students. The result of this study is the determination of the explicit dependence of the formation of the technological competence of bachelor students and the success of their online education. It is concluded that in order to maintain the quality of education at the proper level during the transition to distance learning, it is necessary to actively form the technological competence of students from the first years of their studies. The author proposes to use modern online forms of education in face-to-face classes within the disciplines related to information and communication technologies, which belong to the disciplines of the compulsory part of the curriculum of the main professional educational program of higher education. In addition, it is proposed not to forget about continuous professional development in the framework of online education by teachers themselves.

The article is devoted to substantiating the idea of the importance of the interaction between the university and professional educational organizations in the context of renewing transformations in the system of secondary vocational education. Professional educational organizations experience certain difficulties in ensuring the quality of teaching staff necessary to solve complex problems when training workers, mid-level specialists for the region’s economy. The article identifies possible strategies for integrating the university into the development of human resources of the regional secondary vocational education system in the following areas: training teaching staff, advanced training, using the results of professional educational organizations in the regional program «Development of innovative processes», improving the professional skills of managers and teachers, developing their design culture and professional competencies in the field of inclusive vocational education. The resources for the development of the personnel potential are considered to be the joint work of the university and educational institutions in the preparation and conduct of scientific and practical events at various levels, the translation of the best educational practices into the professional community of the region. The system of higher education in modern conditions sets tasks related to increasing the efficiency of preparing students for professional activities. One of the ways to achieve these goals is to introduce innovations in the university. Innovative technologies in education make it possible to regulate learning, steer it in the right direction and also to provide training for modern specialists who are open to changes and innovations. The article provides an analytical review of the concept of “innovation”. The article studies the features of the use of this term in professional pedagogical education. The article considered current innovative processes in the vocational education system in the context of globalization. The essential characteristics of the concept of “innovation” are revealed. The authors found that at present in innovative activities the leading place is given to innovative thinking, the use of the capabilities of artificial intelligence, and the preservation of the identity of educational institutions.

The article presents the results of an empirical research: an expert survey of teachers of history and social studies in schools in the Ulyanovsk region and an online survey of high school students in grades 9-11. The school at present, due to the lack of a significant part of the humanitarian subjects in higher education, lays the foundations for the political and ideological identification of young people. Therefore, the purpose of our study was to study students’ ideas about politics and modern political ideologies. The article concludes that there is a lack of practical extracurricular activities to involve high school students in social and political activities at school and at the local level, and as a result, we can observe the lack of formation of the political identity of school graduates as an integral part of the civic identification of young people.
