Information technology project failure is the problem which quite hard to avoid. The main problems of IT project failure are scope, time, and cost. These three contains is affecting to each other. Time and cost are the impact of the changing in scope. About 50% – 80% of IT Projects are defined as failure project which is mostly caused by over time and over cost. In client side, the problems come from unrealistic expectations also misunderstanding in collecting requirements in order to develop a system. These problems are leading into many changes in system development and changes will leads into poor scope management. In this research, we will analyze the influence of poor scope management affecting the successful of IT Project. In this research, began by analyze the correlation between Unrealistic Expectation and Changes in Project. The second steps is to analyze the correlation between Changes in Project and Overtime and Overcost. The Third steps it to analyze the Failure Project which defined by acceptance status of client and its correlation with Overcost and Overtime. Statistic method used in this research is Chi-Square. The result shows a tight bond between Unrealistic Expectation to Project Failure.

PT. XYZ is a company that moves in glue manufacturing. The business activities includes purchases of raw materials, manufacturing process, and finished goods sales. The company implemented OpenERP which focused on Purchase and sales modules to integrate their business processes. OpenERP implementation uses Accelerated SAP (ASAP) methodology. Initial stages in the ASAP method are preparing schedules, purposes, and scope. Followed by, collecting data through interviews and observations. Then analyze business processes and problems, as well as the user requirements using difference table analysis. From the analysis, the consultant identified the problems that exist. After getting the requirement, conducted stages of planning new business processes or Blueprint. The Blueprint contains the system running now (as-is) and the design of the system that will be applied (to-be) which will be used in the realization stage to perform configuration, customization, data migration and testing interfaces. The next stage is the final preparation, where consultants will conduct final testing, create a user manual and conduct user training. Once this step is done, the implementation of the system will go live towards the stage and the system has been confirmed free of bugs and user needs are met.

The purpose of this research is to present a math education game as an alternative teaching method for students studying mathematics. The game is set to be released on personal computers (PC). The art of the game is set as 2D cartoon art. There will be 4 teaching methods that will help students learn mathematics in the game in the form of mini games. Each of these methods is the result of a previous research on math education for children. To date, the current development only covers 2 of 4 mini games. Questionnaire, literature study, and expert opinions are used as the data collection method. The Object Oriented approach, particularly the Inheritance Concept is used as the programming method. At the moment, a prototype education game code named Binus Math Education Game (B-Meg) is ready to be deployed. This particular education game is expected to provide an alternative and more innovative teaching method for mathematics in elementary school, or better, replace the existing conventional teaching method.
