Cloud Computing was growing so fast today. The services are Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS). This development of cloud computing align with the development of computer in this new age which turn people to work mobile and faster. Cloud computing could be one of the new tools in supporting learning process for students in Higher Education. In student age, they are more familiar with gadget and internet. We do not exactly know how cloud computing can be helpful for lecturer or students. We also want to know the role of cloud computing for the higher education learning process. But, before we are going to see the impact of cloud computing, for the initial stage of the study, we conducted a research to analyze the factors that influence the lecturers and students in using cloud computing to efficiency process. This research conducted using the Theory of Planned Behavior to obtain the result. Finally, the factors that affected the lecturers and students intensity of using cloud computing are attitude, behavioral control, and subjective norm. This result shows that lecturers and students ready to adopt cloud computing and they're already familiar in using it. Furthermore, institution will easier to implement cloud computing for efficiency process.

Traditionally, when someone needs to find a boarding house or other room rental, he/she will contact the boarding house's manager via telephone and go to the place directly. This activity takes time and effort. To make it easier, android application is developed to optimize the process. Chat feature and push notification are important features of the application to enable users to get additional and up-to-date information from management. However, until this day, there is no mobile application for room/house rental which incorporates built-in chatting and the push notification features. The purpose of this study is to develop a mobile application incorporating chat and push notification feature to provide information about boarding houses and evaluate it. Features developed in this application are login, view boarding rooms list, view detail, review, view map, chat, and broadcast information. An evaluation shows that the application is useful to provide boarding house information and to communicate between room seekers and building managers.

The purpose of this paper is to develop a balanced scorecard (BSC) for measuring green IT initiatives in the private higher education institution. The conception of the Green BSC was derived from Green IT Governance model for private higher education institution that already constructed from the prior research. The balanced score in the balanced scorecard provides a measurement for particular objectives set by the organization. However, in Green BSC, list of objectives were given to standardize the measurement for each private higher education institution. Institutions can calculate the balance score by themselves and implement the initiatives provide. Yet, further research may be applied to validate the propose model.

One of the technology utilization in tourism industry is doing the online promotion through website and social media. Many organizations, from government or private institution, build their own e-tourism, so that the tourists can get enough information to realize their plan for a holiday trip. The aim of this study is to adduce factors of e-tourism that have significance influences in affecting tourist's travel decision. This study used questionnaire as tool in the data collection, which was distributed to the frequent tourists, having minimum three (3) holiday trips a year. 200 questionnaires are used as the basis of data analysis. Correlation bivariate is conducted for the hypotheses testing. The results express that purchasing decision were significantly influenced by opinions & perception target, advice of travel agent, information obtained from destinations, e-commerce feature, access time, possibility of comparison, and social media.

Curriculum is a core process in higher education institution. The curriculum development is a complex process and needs internal or and external data, information and knowledge as well. This study proposed a Knowledge Management model for curriculum development process. The survey was conducted in Bina Nusantara University and interview the staff who were involved in the process of curriculum development to understand the process. Literature studies were applied to develop a model that fit on integration between knowledge management systems as knowledge sources into Learning Management Systems at Bina Nusantara University as case studies. As results, this Knowledge Management model support several stakeholders like Study program, Subject Content Coordinator, Lecturer, Student, and Alumni & Partners to improving existing curriculum development process.

Succession planning and career path are often used to develop the employee career path in the organization based on their interest and capabilities. The problem is a lack of integrated information system to help the company in finding the successors of vacant positions and in mapping out the employee career path. Several methods were used in this research such as questionnaire and benchmarking with literature review. The questionnaire method consists of 16 questions which were based on Likert scale and literature benchmarking method that compared Evergreen Retirement Community, Boomers, and Brazilian Professionals to SME Sector. As for the information system design, Unified Modeling Language (UML) was utilized to produce use case diagram, sequence diagram, activity diagram, and entity relationship diagram (ERD) to help designing the user interface. The result of this research revealed an information system succession planning and career path model that is integrated and computerized to help companies in finding the successor for the vacant position and map out an employee career path.

Hospital Information Systems (HIS) has been considered by health care providers as the answer to provide a quality service and help their employees to work effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that influence users' acceptance level of HIS in a private multi-specialty hospital in Indonesia as it was expected to give a proper guideline for the management in the current and future HIS development. This study applied a model that had been modified from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and analyzed by using the Structured Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The final results indicate ease of use and perceived usefulness as the main factors that should receive the management's utmost attention as they significantly affect the acceptance level of HIS in the hospital.

The aim of this paper is to compare the complexity of three simple sort algorithm; selection sort algorithm, bubble sort algorithm, and insertion sort algorithm. The measurement of the complexity is based on control flow structure and time processing. The control flow structure is illustrated into flowgraph and measured by number of out-degree and number of in-degree. The algorithm is coded in C programming language. The sorting experiment uses four data sets: 100,000 random words, 50,000 random words, 100,000 random integer numbers, and 50,000 random integer numbers to measure the time processing. The result of the measurement explains that the bubble sort algorithm has the complexity more than others.

Enormous file exchange in enterprise company is a common thing especially in financial company. The use and implementation of Managed File Transfer (MFT) system in company should bring a big perfomance and security impact for IT Division internally or externally. Succesful rate, perfomance rate, and supporting factor became the root cause of this research. Within this research, we know all the key-factor of perfomance measurement of MFT system and give us a blueprint about the perfomance measurement itself. This research will evaluate the perfomance of MFT system using concept of IT Balanced Scorecard (IT BSC) that have 4 perspective which will be the reference to collect data, evaluate data, and do a factor analysis using the data from the questioner. The result of factor analysis generating 4 new factor that have an important role in the MFT system level performance in the company such as System Securities, Business Support from MFT System, System Weaknesses, and System User's Comfortable.

The Plantcyclopedia application is developed to provide plant information. The difference between this research application and others is the search feature based on an image. The search feature is designed to match the shape and orientation. This application uses a Speeded Up Robust Features (SURF) algorithm to conduct the matching feature process. The SURF algorithm is divided into three main steps. The first step is to retrieve the image information and turn it into a matrix, using a Hessian - Laplace Technique to define the feature point following the integral to reduce the computational time. It also uses a Difference of Gaussian in order to handle the object with an invariant scale. This process is called Fast Hessian. The second step is to define the orientation of the image using a Haar Wavelet Responses Technique. The third step is to match the feature points from both images using a four dimensional vector and K-Means as a classification technique. The result of this research is an application which is able to collect plant information using image matching.
