The purpose of this paper is to present a framework of practical steps for an organization in implementing knowledge continuity management (KCM). This KCM is used to manage the transfer of knowledge from the former staff to successor staff so as to prevent the loss of knowledge when staff left the organization. Methods or steps of this implementation were written based on a case study of KCM implementation in non-profit organization (NPO). The KCM development was carried out through several important stages of process which is based on the concept of KM building blocks, SECI knowledge conversion process, and KCM mapping areas to determine categories of knowledge for all functions and levels of the organization. As the results, there are four important outcomes from this project. First is the determination of knowledge goal; second is the development process of how NPO identify and acquire knowledge; third is applying of four knowledge categories with its subcategories; fourth is the determination of NPO key positions for KCM.

The goals of the research were to identify, analyze, and design a web-based information system and implement business process improvement to support and enhance the current business processes in some banks in Indonesia who run Community development program to improve the economy of Indonesia. The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method was applied for the system analysis and design phases, utilizing Unified Modelling Language (UML) to model the system. Analysis was based on the company's current business processes, which results were translated into the design of a web-based information system which supports the current processes of the community empowerment program, especially in report documentation and verification, progress monitoring through an up-to-date dashboard and a Community Maturity Model (CoMM) that help organization to know better about the progress of the communities. The web-based platform enables ease of access for conducting work in various places.

Mostly the primary objectives of government institutions using information technology (IT) is to support their effectiveness, efficiencies and productivity of services, however, very little has been written what the value of information technology and how to measure it. This paper presents the suggested framework for measuring the value of information technology based on its performance of government institutions by using non-financial indicators such as effectiveness, efficiency and productivity. Literature and document toward selected government institution study were conducted to assess the characteristics of information technology development and its usage in government institutions. The result of the research is the framework IT value measurement by using non-financial business performance approaches.

In the era where access to social media is a part of our daily activities, marketers need to keep up with the fast pace of change or risk being outdated. The same thing as in the journal publishing industry, the rapid growth of Open Journal System has enabled everyone to access journal for free, but most of the journals have not yet been established a marketing system. This paper will discuss how publishers could adopt internet marketing strategies through social media in the journal publishing industry.

Education and technology have a very close relationship and it cannot be denied. Education is now very depending with technology and always keeps evolving to support each other. Teaching methods are now drastically change because the present of rapid development of technology. The way of teaching is now shifting due to the available technology and the students, parents and the society no longer accept the conventional teaching method, which is one-way communication. Presenting any materials with the help of technology, increase the successful rate of delivery of the materials and also increase the student's understanding. IT Initiative in IT Blueprint framework is one of the method to reduce the failure of the IT project (developing interactive presentation) but it still lack to measure the IT Initiative. The new measurement method in IT Blueprint called ITBluTric is needed to become a success factor while developing the interactive presentation.

BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) has emerged as the fastest growing phenomenon that IT divisions have had to deal. Today there are a variety of tools used to communicate with stakeholder (supplier, customer, distributor, etc) in boundless place, so organizations' data will be kept in the various devices. The changing of this era drives the current trend of employees using their own laptop computers, cellular phones, smart phones, tablet, etc; both for personal and for work. However to successfully implement BYOD, the problems associated with privacy and security in BYOD environment should be identified. According to this circumstance, this study aims to identify some of the legal issues related to security and privacy challenge in BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) era, which can be a suggestion for institution to aware with these issues because security and privacy is the most important to any size of organization to run their business process.

In this paper, the authors introduce an easy way to learn Chinese language with mnemonic method through mobile game. This method refers to primary school students. Some of them felt Chinese language was difficult, especially Chinese characters. As a beginner, Chinese characters will seem strange during learn Chinese language. It can decreased children's motivation to learning. In modern age, the authors harness technology to learn Chinese language via mobile game. Chinese language learning through game becomes better solution to children than traditional learning. This paper propose to created game learning with method named mnemonic, the strategy to remember, which has many techniques can help learner to learn Chinese characters. This method would be better if applied in the form of educational games.

In Web 2.0 era, social learning occurs when a group of individual interacts to support each other in learning process using any media; one of them is social media. From many perspectives particularly for educational, it is interesting to examine how social media can contribute to the learning process. This channel can support an interactive process that occurs when a group of learners collaborates with other to combine their knowledge into new insights. This research focuses on identifying social learning factors framework that enable higher education to be sustainable and be more adaptive. It also depicts conceptual social learning ontology according to Zachman Framework for enhancing collaboration and increasing responsiveness by leveraging social media channel in higher education. The objective of this study is to support classification scheme for descriptive representations of the social learning model. That is not only doing the design artifacts, but it depicts all supportive components to the organizational perspective. This set of view appears to be universal of the subject or object being described, including what (data), how (function), where (network), who (people), when (time), and why (motivation). The primary method of this study is systematic literature review process to define social learning factors that can be mapped into Zachman Framework. The result of this research is conceptual of ontology model for social learning that can be implemented for higher education.

Xiang Qi association in the world has quite large members, so that when organizing a tournament with many participants caused a scheduling problem. Round-robin system which is commonly used in tournament cannot be efficiently used regarding to the number of participant. The higher the number of participant, the longer and the more exhausted the players. This paper suggests Swiss pairing system to do scheduling in Xiang Qi tournament. The capacity of the tournament can be increased, but the player can still compete with the optimal result. The pairing function considers the player's record, the ‘bye’ notes, the player's color preferences, and the origin of the player's club. The time complexity of Swiss pairing and Round-robin is shown in the evaluation where the Swiss-pairing is more efficient than Round-robin system.

The concept of embedded systems is considered. The advantages of developed embedded systems compared to general purpose are emphasized. The possible ways to develop microcontroller-based embedded systems design tools are analyzed. The features provided by MCU manufacturers are touched upon. The authors investigate the case of development of equipment for education, research and design of embedded microcontroller systems, effective from the standpoint of cost minimization for the developer when designing of full-scale prototypes, as well as effective in terms of the quality of training in this area. The structure of a stand is described in detail with its possible areas of application.
