The issues of the economic sovereignty of states are more acute especially in recent decades, due to growing internationalization and globalization in the world economy. To establish favourable economic and trade relations, countries integrate more into the world economy and participate in the process of globalization. This almost inevitably implies a certain reduction in the level of economic sovereignty of the states, which forces the governments of the countries to pursue an adequate policy, on the one hand, not to stay out of the globalization process, and on the other hand, to face possible threats of economic sovereignty. From the viewpoint of confronting the possible threats to economic sovereignty, the structure of the country's economy and economic proportions, which show the degree of self-sufficiency and resilience of the national economy, are essential. In countries that are considered to have vulnerable economies to external influences, economic sovereignty is under constant threat. In that case, countries that have national economies with relatively high resilience are less vulnerable to threats to economic sovereignty. The paper analyzes the main macroeconomic indicators, the economic proportions, the structure of export and import, etc. of the Republic of Armenia, in the context of economic sovereignty and possible threats to it. The external trade indicators were observed in the areas of the integration directions of the RA, such as the membership in the Eurasian Economic Union and relations with the European Union. The relatively strong and weak sides of the RA, in terms of the impact on the economic sovereignty, were presented in those directions.

The paper investigates the problem of the language learning plateau, its impact on the learners of foreign languages, especially Business English (English for Special Purposes) as well as suggested methods to overcome this problem through mutual efforts of learners and educators. Research and works carried out by prominent scientists and educators have been studied and presented in the paper. The paper targets to meet the needs of students studying Business English, who feel that they face the language learning plateau through applying modern and online technologies to envision the efficiency of technology-embedded learning in eliminating the language learning plateau. Evident is the fact that some students face stagnation in their studies, whereas others continue their way toward language proficiency. Our research resulted in the development of the Motivation Matrix and PINE model to address the problem and solve it according to the needs.

The phenomena behind the economic development of Israel from Yishuv times to socialism and from socialism to liberalism may illustrate the outcome of ideological Uturn and therefore merits more academic attention and discussion. This paper seeks to examine the outcome drastically shifting the governmental policies: from illiberal laborism and socialism towards more market-friendly atmosphere on the case o f Israel. For that purpose, the following research question was formulated: “Under what circumstances did the government o f Israel change the philosophy underlying its economic policy-making?”. The methodology applied is purely qualitative. In particular, taking into account that the case is truly unique and the results are not transferrable a qualitative “intrinsic case study” was applied. We arrived at a conclusion that the relative economic success of Yishuv and later Israel that took place before 1985 is difficult to ascribe to the leftist policies. On the other hand, the diminishing involvement o f the government in economic affairs and the introduction of the pivotal principles o f market economy laid the foundation o f modern and developed state which, despite its small size and uneasy political relations with its neighbors is among the global leaders in a number o f fields, including the high-tech industry.

The paper analyses employment and other labor market indicators, as well as it dwells upon the effects of the other macroeconomic trends in the Republic of Armenia. The ARIMA - high-flexibility model of the integrated time-regression floating average methodology was used to predict employment rate. Comparisons were made between regional countries as well as other developed and developing economies. The research focuses on the issues of the state employment policy, as well as the recent crisis phenomena caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and attempts to give guidelines for solving the problems raised. The paper presents the developments in the labor market of the Republic of Armenia in the medium term, based on the results obtained. It highlights the priorities of the Republic of Armenia in the field of employment and the ways of their implementation.

The dominance of the agriculture sector is due to its role in the country's food security, the rural population's income generation, and living standards. In recent years, the efficiency of the agricultural sector has noticeably decreased. The evidence of this is the low labor productivity per employed person and the low level of provision of modern equipment. The study of development trends and structural shifts in the agricultural sector of the RA in 2010-2021 is especially crucial in this economically and politically particular period. The research aims to study the trend of indicators of RA agrarian sector, especially in the last decade, to reveal the factors determining the structural changes of the sector and the reasons for low economic efficiency. The analysis of the state of the agricultural sector and the given qualitative assessments characterizing the current state presented the relationship of comparable indicators. The analysis allows identifying the main problems in the agricultural sector.
