This article presents a comparison of various types of mathematical distributions for arriving flow of ships using imitation model of the marine passenger port of St. Petersburg. In the course of analyzing the arrivals of cruise ships at the port in the past years, a confidence interval was determined in which the predicted number of ships entering the passenger port may fluctuate. Determination of possible fluctuations of incoming flow significantly simplifies the process of making management decisions in the port under conditions of uncertainty.

Cruise shipping is the calling card of many countries. In view of the downturn in this cruise industry due to Covid-19, it is necessary to develop new models and decision-making methods to reach pre-crisis levels. One such tool is the analysis and subsequent modernization of the route networks of ferry and cruise lines. The study presents models applicable to the regions of the seas. The object of the research is the Baltic Sea region and the existing route cruise networks. The article provides a global analysis of the cruise industry, confirming the need for modernization and the search for new solutions. Simply restarting the route networks, based on the 2019 networks, is not enough today. To solve the problem, a graph model of route networks is given, a model of route network organization is given, taking into account various subnetworks. To expand the capabilities of sea ferry and cruise lines, a theoretical model is proposed that allows the passenger to switch from one route to another, thus providing more flexibility and variety than the classical route through a given system of ports. The presented models are supported by examples of development of sea passenger ports and terminals of St. Petersburg, sea ferry networks of the Baltic Sea. Further research questions are presented. The presented model allows expanding the possibilities of the region, making them more attractive for passengers.

This article considers the possibility of using drones to identify and analyze the congestion of traffic-transfer hubs in the urban environment. The article substantiates the need to analyze the congestion of traffic-transfer hubs, due to the unevenness of traffic congestion. Classical models of congestion estimation do not allow taking into account the dynamics of the process. The data obtained by manual calculations contain errors and require lengthy processing. Using the data from cameras allows solving the problem of congestion analysis, but it is not possible to solve this problem with high accuracy during peak hours. The use of data obtained from drones (from an unmanned aerial system) is proposed to solve the congestion analysis problem. To implement this solution, the article presented a list of necessary components that a drone should have, an example of the source code for the implementation of an autonomous flight, an example of the implementation of the traffic-transfer hubs overflight scheme using special software.

This article discusses the profitability of introducing an automated hardware complex into the system of passing pre-flight procedures. Technological solutions are described at the stages: check-in, baggage check-in, boarding, as well as passport and customs control. The complex offers the introduction of automatic check-in, self-baggage check-in, hardware identification of biometric data at passport and border control, boarding pass by scanning a QR code from a smartphone screen. The complex is aimed at improving services and increasing the speed of passenger service on the example of Pulkovo Airport. The experience of other countries and existing technologies are considered.

The article presents an analysis of shipped goods by inland water transport and their forecast using the Trend Line program, which is included in the MS Excel database software. This analysis was based on statistical data for the period from 2015 to 2020 inclusive. The resulting equations showed that the forecast should use linear, logarithmic, exponential and power equations, on the basis of which the forecast was made until 2030. Key words: Northern delivery, shipped goods by inland water transport, analysis, forecast.
