In the context of the curriculum in Madrasah (Islamic school), the government has determined the concept, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum in the Decree of the Minister of Religion (KMA) number 183, 184, and 189. It required to formulate an evaluation instrument in the need of curriculum implementation for the process of curriculum implementation evaluation at the practical level in education units. The purpose of this study was to develop an evaluation instrument of curriculum implementation in the form of a curriculum achievement assessment questionnaire. This study used a Research and Development (RD) with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. In collecting the data, this study used the Dhelpi technique; consultative discussions with experts as validators in the preparation of instruments which included components, aspects, and indicators. FGD (Forum Group Discussion); with Arabic language teachers were applied to analyze the needs related to the development of an evaluation model for curriculum implementation and to formulate aspects of components and indicators of achievement of the Arabic language curriculum. The results showed that the instrument for evaluating curriculum implementation included the formulation of components, aspects, and indicators in the Context, Input, Process, Product, and Outcomes (CIPPO). The components, aspects, and indicators in the CIPPO model were formulated through the conceptual analysis and the contextualization of KMA number 183, 184, 189 and language performance theory as a benchmark and a standard for assessing the achievement of the Islamic high school Arabic curriculum.

Moral value is vital and beneficial in students' lives. This value is utilized as a guide in behavior when interacting in Arabic learning activities. This value craves to be internalized in these activities through the teacher's acts with the aim that learning can run interactively and create character students. This study aims to analyze the internalization of character values through teacher directive acts in learning Arabic at Darus Salam High School and Al Munawaroh High School Jombang. This research adopted a qualitative approach by employing the case study. The research data was obtained from interviewing and documentation of three teachers’ directive speech acts from two senior high schools about the context of these teachers’ acts. This study draws on the internalization of character values through teacher directive acts in learning Arabic at Darus Salam and Al Munawaroh High School Jombang with four functions, they are; a) the function of asking, b) the function of ordering, c) the function of inviting, and d) the function of forbidding by internalizing character values, namely the value of curiosity, independent value, religious value, and responsibility value. The results of this study contribute to the teacher's media in using appropriate speech acts as an effort to create students who have character and become more interactive and communicative learning because of the understanding between teachers and students. The implications for future research need to discuss the following research to understand character values through Arabic teaching materials.

During the past decades, Qiroatul Kutub has been adopted as the learning model, therefore, this study is aimed to explore the development of the Qiroatul Kutub model using the Plickers application and the feasibility of it. Driven by Borg and Galls model of research and development (RnD), the researchers collected the data through documentation of 35 University students including expert assessments of learning method, materials and media. The expert validity test is based on 3 aspects of the module, learning model, and learning media using five scale analysis techniques, namely very good to very poor. From the expert validity test, an average score of 3.7 (A) was obtained, which was very good in terms of modules, learning models, and learning media, while the limited test to 32 student respondents obtained 3.8 (A) or very well from 3 aspects. Then after the revision, field testing was carried out and got an average score of 4 (A) or very good with an increase in student achievement from the pre-test and post-test results of 19.15%, indicating that the development of this learning model is very feasible to use. Drawing on the findings, this study provided an insightful finding on the adoption of Plickers application in Arabic reading skills. Thus, the teacher could incorporate this application to gain better students reading skills.

To improve learning activities in the Arabic course for students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar in this pandemic period, digital teaching materials are needed. The development of the basic Arabic language in this university is important because Arabic is one the courses taught in almost every study program. The method that was used to develop this electronic module is the 4D method which consists of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stage. The data sources in this development are divided into two parts. The first data sources relating to the development of books are taken from Arabic books while the data sources used as test subjects are 43 students of the Islamic Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. The results of this development were an electronic module using Fliphtml5 as a development design template while the method of presenting material in this E-Module follows the model of the Directorate general of Islamic religious institution and open university modules in 1996. Which begins with an introduction, and contains learning activities, exercises and summeries. The percentage of the respondents reached 92% and 96% which explains to us that the material of the Arabic E-Module is easier to understand as an alternative teaching materials for this course. Then as a conclusion of the result, this E-Module can be used as teaching materials to improve Arabic learning activities.

One of the main problems in language acquisition is the grammatical mastery of either nahwu or sharaf, as has happened in several cases, both in formal and non-formal educational institutions. The purpose of this paper was to find language errors in the students' thesis of Arabic Language Education Study Program which was prepared by using Arabic in UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto. Content analysis and language error analysis based on Language Theory was used in this research that lied by Miles and Huberman. The study found that there were several forms of language errors in the morphology and syntax. Morphology is an error in grammatical arrangement. There were structure of idafiyah or compound words errors in 9 titles or 50%. Afterwards, Na’atman'ut and hal were found in 3 titles or 20%. Meanwhile, the semantics errors found that related to the use of standard words in 6 titles or 30% and the rest was related to inaccurate word choice or diction. Syntax errors in Arabic writing are very common. It has implications for several things, such as professionalism or the ability to master one form of expertise in Arabic other than qira'ah or kitabah.

In surah Al-Kahf verses 60-82, the term bahrain has a deeper connotation than its lexical sense. It is because the passage is linked to the story of Musa and Khidr. The two prophets reflect the several types of knowledge that the term bahrain encompasses. This research aims to examine and uncover the meaning of the word bahrain. This study employed a semiotic approach and a qualitative descriptive research method. The stages in analyzing the data are isytiqaq kabir, syntagmatic-paradigmatic, and semiotics analysis. Isytiqaq kabir was adopted to determine the denotative meaning of the Bahrain word. Syntagmatic-paradigmatic analysis was employed to explain the valence of the bahraini. Semiotics was adopted to analyze the signs in the verses that build meaning. Based on the isytiqaq kabir analysis, the term bahr signifies sea, honor, a prominent position, knowledge, benefit, and being generous. Meanwhile the result of syntagmatic-paradigmatic analysis, bahrain has two seas of knowledge: rational and intuitive knowledge. After going through three stages of linguistic analysis, Allah instructs Musa to learn from Khidr so that he can be wiser in dealing with his people. It is because the passage is linked to the story of Musa and Khidr. The two prophets reflect the several types of knowledge that the term bahrain encompasses. This research aims to examine and uncover the meaning of the word bahrain. This study employed a semiotic approach and a qualitative descriptive research method. The stages in analyzing the data are isytiqaq kabir, syntagmatic-paradigmatic, and semiotics analysis. Isytiqaq kabir was adopted to determine the denotative meaning of the Bahrain word. Syntagmatic-paradigmatic analysis was employed to explain the valence of the bahraini. Semiotics was adopted to analyze the signs in the verses that build meaning. Based on the isytiqaq kabir analysis, the term bahr signifies sea, honor, a prominent position, knowledge, benefit, and being generous. Meanwhile the result of syntagmatic-paradigmatic analysis, bahrain has two seas of knowledge: rational and intuitive knowledge. After going through three stages of linguistic analysis, Allah instructs Musa to learn from Khidr so that he can be wiser in dealing with his people. This research contributes to the treasures of new interpretations of the Qur'anic verses using linguistic concepts and theories.","PeriodicalId":33142,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Al Bayan Jurnal Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74533126","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
