To reduce the rate of development of the virus Covid-19, educational institutions must carry out learning using distance learning models by utilizing technology. This research aims to analyze the process of digital flipped learning of using Telegram in teaching listening dan speaking skills. The methods used in this study are qualitatively descriptive. The data on students’ responses to the teaching process was employed from the survey. The researchers analyzed the process of using Telegram in teaching listening and speaking skills to the 39 Arabic Language and Literature students at IAIN Surakarta. In addition, the effectiveness of using Telegram was measured by the students’ responses. There were two stages of using Telegram: the stage before and while the online class. The stages before online classes include listening and watching video material (knowledge), summarizing, and determining important points (comprehension). The current stages of online classes include students' presentation (application), discussion and QA (analysis), giving input (evaluation), and compiling knowledge-thinking critical-problem solving (creation). The results of this study, the average students respond positively to using Telegram in teaching listening and speaking skills. In the Covid-19 outbreak, the teacher should have the performance to be able to deal with the problems, opportunities, and challenges they face during distance learning. A phenomenological qualitative research method was used in this research to explore the identity of the Arabic language teacher at MIN 04 West Kotawaringin represented by their performance in the daily learning process. The data of this study were obtained from the analysis of interviews, observations and documentation. Interviews were conducted with two Arabic language teachers at MIN 04, students and the principal as the informants. The results showed that the teacher's performance could be seen from; the responsibilities in carrying out the task as a representation of their identity as an Arabic teacher who deal the problems and conditions about the learning facilities, enjoyable technique of teaching and learning, adapt to the use of digital-based media, take different learning resources, and take the initiative to use the most accessible and affordable methods. It was in line with the theory of teacher identity by Anne Graham and Renata Phelps that the teacher should be able to overcome the obstacles faced by both problems from students and infrastructure. This research could be a reference so that teachers can represent their performance, not only as a responsibility but also as a teacher's identity. Furthermore, this research hopefully can examine quantitatively regarding the identity of Arabic teacher in Central Kalimantan.

The advantages of Arabic as the language of the Qur’an are its variety of sounds in each word with derivations in various forms and meanings. This study aimed to map popular phonetics with repetition rate in the Qur'an in order to build implicative concepts in Arabic learning for non-native speakers. The research used a qualitative approach with the type of literature research. As a preliminary research, data were obtained through documentary techniques from the Qur'an and Surah al-Wāqi'ah was taken as a data sourcebecause it represented the criteria as a popular surah. The analysis used a content analysis approach through the stages of condensation, presentation and conclusions. The results of the study was found that popular phonetics had vocal repetitions of 1,015 short vowels, 246 long vowels and 1,512 consonants. The results showed that the frequency of repetition of both vowels and consonants in the Qur’an had a phonetic sequence pattern from front to back, which was in line with Chomsky’s universal rules and the natural order hypothesis of Krashen. In addition, the results were complemented by the hypothetical presupposition of the implications in Arabic learning for non-native speakers, both linguistically, psychologically, and pedagogically.

Nowadays, character learning occupies an important position. There are many studies related to this and the Qur’āncan be a solution in the offer of language and character studies. This study aimed to reveal the way of conveying God (stylistics) to mankind contained in the Qur’ān. A qualitative approach was used with narrative inquiry. The data collection technique was done by analyzing the text of the document which was Al-Maidah verse 90 and 105, also An-Nisa verse 43, which was then analyzed for the data trustworthiness, consistency of research data, the possibility for generalization, neutrality, in a grounded theory research. The results of this study found 3 ways of conveying God to humans in the form of prohibitions or orders, the three appeals are as follows: first, in conveying the order, it is carried out in stages; secondly, the substance conveyed in the message is chosen which is very essential and basic; third, the context chosen is adjusted to the understanding of the aspect. The way God calls His servants with different contexts and appeals can be analyzed so that it is finally adopted as a way of conveying moral messages and character in learning. The results of this study can add to the scientific treasures in character-based language learning.

The existence of majaz mursal i'tibar ma kana in the Qur'an has proven the use of majaz style of language in the Qur'an which underlined that the Qur’an cannot be separated from majaz. The study of the Qur'an will cause the ambiguity in meaning and even fatal mistakes if balaghah approach (majaz) is not used. The data of this research were obtained from the Qur'an and the opinions of several Balaghah experts, such as Abu Ubaidah and Az-Zamakhsyary as the source of information in this study. Semantics was also used in this research, which was analyzing the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an which were classified as majaz i'tibar ma kana. The research results showed that there were 12 verses in the Qur'an including majaz mursal i'tibar ma kana which were found in the different verses, such as surah Al-Baqarah verse (2): 234, surah An-nisa verse (4): 2, surah An-nisa verse (4) 12, surah Al-Rahman verse (55): 56, surah Al-Kahfi verse (28): 47, surah Al-Hujarat verse (49): 9, surah: An-Naml verse (27): 87, surah Fussilat verse (41): 21, surah Thaha verse (20): 74, surah Nuh verse (71): 26-2, surah Ad-Dhukhan (44) verse: 47,48 49. So, there must be a meaningful figure of speech (metaphor) in understanding the verses of the Qur'an and there was no ambiguous meaning. Therefore, this study suggested the need to explore the science of balaghah as one of the tools of science in understanding the Qur'an implicitly.

Bustan al-Katibin is one of the first famous book written by Raja Ali Haji in 1850 AD. It is used in tradisional school in the Riau Islands, Johor and Singapore. This research was significant to be done because Raja Ali Haji had explained that language is not only in linguistic studies, but also in the aspects of ontology, epistemology and cosmology. This study aimed to examine the application of Arabic grammar using Malay by comparing the Arabic grammar system and the Malay language system that has been used in this book. This research was a critical study with content analysis techniques. The primary data source was the Bustan al-Katibin book. Meanwhile, the secondary data sources were books and articles related to this study. The result of this research was the learning of Arabic grammar in Malay as presented in Bustan al-Katibin about aspects of language consisting of: isim, fi'il, and huruf, as a way to help understanding the Arabic grammar. Although the explanation and structure are less systematic in this book, the advantages of this book cannot be ignored because it does not only contain the knowledge of language, but even understanding of language in the system of cosmology, ontology, and epistemology. UU Hamidy explained that his work had been used as a reference in teaching in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries in schools in the Riau Islands, Johor, and Singapore. Teeuw asserted that this work was a part of Arabic language study.

Learning Arabic is often a burden for students, not only because the difficulty of its materials, but also the methods used by the teachers are often not attractive to students. This study aimed to develop Arabic learning materials for first grade in elementary school that will be based on fun learning approach. The method used in this research was Classic Experimental Design by dividing two classes in which one of the classes was utilized as a control class, and others were as experimental class (both 29 students), which would receive an experiment from the development of previous learning materials. The research result showed that the experimental class obtained an average difference score was about 27,2 with the highest score was 100, while the control class was about 10,3 with the highest score was 80. This study showed that there was a significant improvement in the test results of students in the experimental class, these results indicate that the use of textbook based on the song was more effective for students in Arabic learning. According to the results of this study and several other studies related to learning methods for the first graders in elementary school, this article provides an alternative learning method for Arabic teachers which has proven its effectiveness in delivering material. It is hoped that teachers can innovate to replace learning methods with fun learning which is more attractive to students.
