The relevance of the study is determined by the interest of modern humanities in the processes of the formation of ethnic and national consciousness in China in the first half of the 20th century, which determine the images of perception of a foreign culture and self-perception. The novelty lies in the appeal to the half-forgotten work by Mu Mutian, practically unknown to the Russian-speaking reader. The problem lies in the definition of the connotative meanings of the image of the homeland in the works by Mu Mutian, reflecting the fusion of archetypal ethnic ideas and new attitudes of national consciousness. Research methodology is based on the lexical and semantic analysis of the poet’s literary texts, which represent different connotations of the image of the homeland. The research methods we applied involved biographical, cultural-historical and structural-semantic ones. The authors also turned to the comparative analysis of the translation and the original of the poems studied. The authors came to the conclusion that the image of the homeland in the poems included in the collection Drifting Heart by Mu Mutian is often manifested allegorically. The name Drifting Heart fully reflects not only the emotional state of the emigre poet during the period of writing poems but also the processes of the formation of the basic frames of the national consciousness of the Chinese after the Xinhai Revolution during the civil war. Despite the fact that Mu Mutian’s artistic perception of the world during the period of exile is closely connected with the Japanese aesthetic principle of mononoaware, aestheticizing sadness, and is also inseparable from the symbolist craving for “decline”, the poet fuses the “Chinese” vision of these principles and projects them onto ideas about his native places, the homeland of his ancestors under the rule of Japan, declares faith in the revival of China as a single state.

The modern sphere of media communications is characterized by significant Internet human involvement. Network (new) media – blogs, social networks, video platforms, aggregators and other online media, created exclusively for the network – have an advantage over traditional media, forced to compete for the attention of users in an alien environment. The modern online media text consisting of verbal and nonverbal components is mostly focused on attracting the attention of the audience, influencing its feelings and receiving certain emotions. These purposes, especially in the environment of the new media, are often achieved by unscrupulous means, such as the presentation of material in a “yellow” tone, the abuse of emotional audio-video content, the publication of false information, etc., going against the traditional values of journalism. However, the preservation of the traditional axiological component is an extremely important issue for journalism. Regional print media find themselves in a more losing position due to limited resources. However, the potential of publications, especially located in Russian million-plus cities, is quite high. By developing their websites, they can become solid players in regional media markets, and at the same time preserve their axiological potential, continuing to be conductors of the traditions of the cultural code of society. The purpose of this study was to analyze the current place of traditional print media on the Internet with an emphasis on the axiological aspect. The article presents the results obtained by the method of comparative content analysis of materials posted on official websites of newspapers of Privolzhsky Federal District’s million-plus cities during the pandemic (March-May 2020) and in the same period of 2019. Changes of sites during the specified time periods are also analyzed. The novelty of this research is the field of research – till now, the content of websites of newspapers of million-plus cities in the context of using modern tools increasing their attracting for users has not been studied. The study displays increase in the number of tools traditionally used by digital media (such as attractive clickbate titles, audiovisual content and interactive methods of interaction with users) on newspapers’ websites during the pandemic. However, the frequency of the use of these tools is quite small, which allows us to conclude that the value humanitarian potential of publications is preserved even in digital format. The wider use of audience-attracting technologies is vital for print newspapers, as it guarantees them recognition and the possibility of surviving in the face of fierce competition in the Internet environment. But at the same time, it is important to pay attention to the preservation of value priorities. Editors are aware of this importance and do not change the nature of the content, maintaining the image and justifying the trust of readers. In the future, it seems significant t

The Evenki are a small ethnic group living in Russia and China, which has preserved its traditional culture and rituals. The “Evenk theme” has become a significant phenomenon in modern Chinese literature and has contributed to ethnographic studies of Evenk culture. The relevance of the study is due to the interest of modern literary criticism in various artistic projections of imagological methodology through the prism of ethnic cultures, as well as the attention of modern Chinese writers to the life of small nationalities. The aim of the study was the imagological analysis of the image of the self-perception of the Evenki in the artistic ethnography of the Evenk writer Uzhertu. The research is based on the methodological developments in the field of artistic ethnography, as well as imagological studies of cultural images and artistic images of perception in literature. The principle of attracting and using ethnographic material is based on the works by Russian ethnographers. During the research, the stories of Uzhertu were analyzed. The image of the Evenk in his works is given from the point of view of self-perception. At the same time, it is emphasized that despite the positive qualities, the Evenk nation is weak and small in number, dissolving in the Han culture under the influence of globalization, modernization, and developing economy. As a representative of an ancient ethnos, faced with the impact of modern civilization, with each new stage of creativity, Uzhertu became more and more aware of his responsibility to his people, trying to fix and preserve its unique culture in an artistic form. In the “Evenk” works by Uzhertu, the main typological techniques of artistic ethnography were captured: the creation of images of perception of a foreign culture (Han) and images of perception, the imprinting of traditional religious ideas and a mythological picture of the world, a description of household and trade customs and rituals. Uzhertu sadly records the processes of enveloping the Evenks, their dissolution in the Han culture and everyday life.

The publication is devoted to the value foundations of mass communication on the sites of local news media in social networks. The relevance of the work is related to the growth of news media audiences on digital platforms and the need to involve subscribers in the life of communities based on common values. Scientific novelty is expressed in the analysis of the still unexplored formation of local communities and their values on digital platforms. The author poses the question of harmonizing communication based on constructive values, as well as the values of communication itself that support media in social ecosystems: involvement, exchange of emotions based on information, ease of demonstrating support or disapproval, direct communication with opinion leaders. The general problem of the research is designated as the axiological ambivalence of communication in the digital environment. The work used a systematic review of the literature and a qualitative generalization of the results of the author’s previous studies related to the practice of local communities on digital platforms. The review showed the presence of common characteristics for all the results obtained. Among them is the imbalance of communication depending on the region and local politics, as well as the presence of negative emotions and fake information in communications, while people tend to spread negative content of posts / actively react to them. Finally, the volume of communication itself on social networks is uneven in specific topics, periods of time and for audiences of different regions.The study showed that the value of communication in local media on digital platforms lies in the ability of messages to form values that unite the audience and neutralize radicalizing ones, to form a constructive discussion (with the search for solutions to the conflicts that have arisen), taking into account the different value foundations of the communication participants. The values of local communities are concentrated not only around local patriotism, civic activism and proactivity ‒ the named triad is able to harmonize radicalized discussions on digital platforms.

The relevance of the research is determined by the interest of modern literary criticism in the imagological aspects and the problem of developing a research strategy in relation to this kind of texts. The novelty of the work is defined by the genre approach to the study of the image of perception of Japan and the Japanese in Russian pre-revolutionary literature dedicated to the events of the Russian-Japanese war, the introduction of previously unknown texts into scientific circulation, a comparative analysis of narrative strategies that determine the genre specificity of each text. The purpose of the work is to explicate the genre originality of works on the RussianJapanese war, which determines the perspective of the pre-revolutionary artistic reception of the image of perception of Japan and the Japanese in Russia. The methodology is based on an interdisciplinary approach that underpins the imagological paradigm of research. The authors rely on Russian and Chinese works on the history of Japan, Russian-Japanese relations, ethnography of Japan, ethnopsychology, religious studies, on the broad context of imagological research; apply historical-literary, comparative-historical, immanent analysis methods. The complex research is based on modern works concerning the problems of genre studies. The article traces the path of transformation of perceptions of Japan and the Japanese in Russian literature since the middle of the 19th century to the beginning of 20th century which is determined by the genre task of the works: from the first travelogues to the jingoistic notes in periodicals and further to “pacifist” fiction and post-war artistic experiences – the spy and detective text by A. I. Kuprin, the military diaries by V. V. Veresaev, a children’s ethnographic story by I. I. Mitropolsky. We conclude that the tragic and inglorious experience of the Russian-Japanese war pushed the horizons of not only the scientific comprehension of Japan and the Japanese by Russian scientists but also giving development to various genres of Russian literature opened the artistic possibilities of new ethnocultural and ethnopsychological experiences of self-knowledge of Russianness and Russians.

The article is devoted to one of the “eternal” themes and problems of Russian literature and philosophy ‒ the problem of good and evil. The relevance of the study of the problem of good and evil is determined by some simplified consideration of this topic at school and university. Hence, the purpose of the undertaken research is to reveal the ethical and spiritual aspects of the designated problem through the prism of the work by A. A. Fet, to show the commonality of the artistic and philosophical searches of Russian thinkers of the 19th–20th centuries in this area. On the basis of the research undertaken in the article, which was carried out using the historical-philosophical, comparative, hermeneutic and descriptive methods of studying, the available sources on this issue, as well as the method of reconstruction and the method of literary analysis of the main poetic images and ideas of the poem in question, the author showed the peculiarity of recreating the poet of artistic reality in the analyzed poem, which served as the basis for the poetic solution of the “eternal” theme. The article notes that the readers are presented with the Christian picture of the world and the Christian understanding of the problem of good and evil, with its highlighting of the moral and spiritual aspects. The author of the article, referring to the poem by A. A. Fet as an illustration, shows, on the one hand, the unequal moral and spiritual aspects of the problem of good and evil, and on the other hand, their relationship. The article concludes that the ability to distinguish between the moral and spiritual aspects of this problem allows one to comprehend the issue of good and evil more deeply, to get away from its stereotypical dialectical consideration in the context of the idea of free choice. An example of such a deep disclosure of the ethical and philosophical problem in an artistic context can serve, according to the author, a poem by A. A. Fet, consonant with the spiritual quest of Russian religious philosophers of the 19th–20th centuries.

This article examines the concept of the “family” and its lexicographic expression in the comparative relation of Russian and Persian linguocultures. The methodological basis of the study is the units that served as the fundamental material for the study, built on the methods of linguo-cognitive and linguocultural analyses of the “family” concept, as well as those withdrawn by the method of continuous sampling from explanatory and phraseological dictionaries of the compared languages. The relevance of the study is determined by the expediency of a comparative study of paremias in the linguocultural and linguo-cognitive aspects, in order to identify and demonstrate the fundamental centuries-old values of family relations of two compared linguocultures. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that such a conceptual analysis with the “family” component in a comparative-comparative aspect on the basis of phraseological units, proverbs and sayings of Iranian and Russian linguistic cultures is carried out for the first time. Based on the purpose of our study, which was to identify the specifics and originality of “family relationships and values” at the proverbial level of the two compared languages, the norms of behavior and relationships between members of the concept of “family” were identified. As a result of the linguocultural analysis of the hyperconcept “family” and the microconcepts branching from it, it was revealed that in the ordinary minds of representatives of both Russian and Persian people, they have a positive connotation. The conclusions obtained by us are of practical importance and can arouse the interest of researchers in the field of oriental studies, as well as teachers of Russian as a foreign language in an Iranian-speaking environment and the Persian language in a Russian-speaking audience for the purpose of further linguocultural analysis and study of the paremias of the compared languages, and are also taken into account in the development of specialized dictionaries of proverbs and sayings, phraseological units and set expressions.

The relevance of the study is determined by the expediency of a comparative study of paremias in the linguocultural and linguo-cognitive aspects, in order to identify and demonstrate the fundamental centuries-old values of family relations of two compared linguocultures. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that such a conceptual analysis with the “family” component in a comparative-comparative aspect on the basis of phraseological units, proverbs and sayings of Iranian and Russian linguistic cultures is carried out for the first time. Based on the purpose of our study, which was to identify the specifics and originality of “family relationships and values” at the proverbial level of the two compared languages, the norms of behavior and relationships between members of the concept of “family” were identified. As a result of the linguocultural analysis of the hyperconcept “family” and the microconcepts branching from it, it was revealed that in the ordinary minds of representatives of both Russian and Persian people, they have a positive connotation. The conclusions obtained by us are of practical importance and can arouse the interest of researchers in the field of oriental studies, as well as teachers of Russian as a foreign language in an Iranian-speaking environment and the Persian language in a Russian-speaking audience for the purpose of further linguocultural analysis and study of the paremias of the compared languages, and are also taken into account in the development of specialized dictionaries of proverbs and sayings, phraseological units and set expressions.","PeriodicalId":33580,"journal":{"name":"Gumanitarnyi vektor","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41906179","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the modern high-tech world, the mass media play a significant role in “understanding information” and “forming knowledge”, and are also of great importance in the formation and representation of collective values of society. Confucian culture is not only a system of knowledge, but also a system of values. In the face of internal and external problems, contradictions, and spiritual crisis, Chinese society relies on the basic values of Confucian culture, thereby strengthening social and political stability. The ideas of Confucian culture also have a high applied value for the regulation of modern international relations. The country is making efforts to present the basic values of humanism of Confucian culture in the country and abroad. And the media play a crucial role in this process. This determines the relevance of this work. The article reveals the modern values of humanism of Confucianism presented in the Chinese media on the example of the Internet version of People’s Daily. The chronological framework of the study is the period from 09.15.2019 to 09.15.2021. Main research methods: critical analysis of scientific literature and content analysis of newspaper texts. The author analyzes and systematizes scientific works on the chosen topic in order to highlight the ideas, main provisions, concepts, principles underlying the Confucian worldview, and their modern value interpretation ‒ both for China and the world community as a whole. The importance of the media space for the formation of the value of the individual and society is studied. The method of content analysis was applied in the study of modern values of humanism of Confucianism. The analysis shows that the Chinese media act as a platform for the presentation, interpretation and actualization of modern values of humanism of Confucianism: they pay attention to the value of Confucianism for both the individual and the collective; actualize the values of its humanistic ideas, such as “Humanity” and “Harmony”; emphasize its moral, spiritual, psychological, ideological and socio-political value of humanism; actualize its value within China itself and on a global scale. In a further study, the effectiveness of the actualization of specific values of Confucianism in the Chinese media can be more carefully considered.

In this article, the authors make an attempt based on an analysis from the point of view of neo-historicism to look again at the history of the development of Buryat novels, to analyze the features of constructing the identity of the main characters in works written by famous Buryat writers at different historical stages. The relevance is due to the absence of scientific works devoted to identifying the transformation of the identity of literary characters under the influence of historical eras. The purpose of this article is also to study the influence of various historical contexts on the work of writers in order to find out the pattern of manifestation of the ethnic identity of the Buryats in the historically determined dynamics of social development and their artistic embodiment. The most famous novels by Buryat writers of the 20th century served as the material for the study. Being a significant genre of Buryat literature, the novel has a natural connection with history since its inception, which makes it another channel for understanding the influence of the historical process on the identity of the Buryats. The authors analyze Buryat novels, which are an artistic medium for Buryat writers, with which they can write about national identity. Buryat novels are influenced by the social and historical environment and have features at different stages of history. Historical events and characters depicted in Buryat novels reflected the process of identity transformation in artistic form. The authors come to the conclusion that the identity of the heroes goes through stages from the desire for unification under the influence of Soviet ideology to the formation of a new identity of a USSR citizen, and to the conclusion about the revival of ethnic identity at a new stage. The research perspectives include the study of the transformation of identity in other genres of Buryat literature.

The aim of this research is to identify the values of a family and society, reflected in advertising discourse including bibliographic advertisement on the pages of women’s periodicals of the NEP era. New empirical material is introduced into scientific circulation: texts of traditional and editorial book advertisement of non-state periodicals for women (Magazine for housewives, 1922–1926, Women’s magazine, 1926–1930). The relevance of the research is due to the necessity of studying bibliographic advertisement in women’s specialized magazines, which has not been included previously in the orbit of scientific interest. The basic research methods are historical and typological, comparative historical, methods of linguistic and textual analysis, entire overview. The authors reveal the importance of bibliographic advertisement on the pages of “Magazine for housewives” and “Women’s magazine” in process of transformation of the value paradigm in post-revolutionary Russia, reconsideration of the old and consolidation of the new gender roles of a woman in Soviet society (the wife, the mother, the housewife, the worker, the social activist). Using syncretic of their genre nature texts on the pages of Magazine for housewives and Women’s magazine actualizes genres of bookselling advertisement (annotation, price list) as well as media genres (mini-review and review, recommendation, etc.). Comparisons, lexical repetitions, superlatives of adjectives, calls to action, etc. were used as means of language suggestion in book advertisement in specialized magazines. Indication of the uniqueness of a book novelty, promise of a gift or a benefit and personalization are becoming the universal methods of book advertisement. Since the strategies tested in bibliographic advertisement of the NEP era were actively developed in the subsequent period, our results can be used in future analysis of axiological context of the Soviet advertising discourse.
