This study aims to determine the effect of motivation, self-confidence, and maximum oxygen consumption on the basic skills of playing soccer. This research includes path analysis research (path analysis). Exogenous variables are motivation (x1), confidence (x2), and maximum oxygen consumption (x3), while endogenous variables are the basic skills of playing soccer. The sample of this research was 100 male students of class XI MAN 2 Bone. Data were analyzed by inferential statistical analysis, namely the regression test. The findings showed that motivation (MTV), self-confidence (PD), and maximum oxygen ability (VO2 max) affected the basic skills of playing soccer (KSB) (p<0.05). This study only involved a small sample, so the findings of this study can still be developed for further research using more methods or samples.

Mental toughness controls a person's emotional aspects, which becomes essential for athletes, especially martial athletes, especially pencak silat. This research aims to know the situation of the mental toughness of martial arts athletes. The research subjects used all pencak silat athletes who were members of PPLP West Java, as many as 17 people, consisting of 9 men and eight women. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive survey approach. The research instrument uses a questionnaire about mental toughness and data analysis using a quantitative analysis approach through statistics in the form of percentages. Of 17 research subjects, three people, or 17.7% of situation mental toughness, are in a low category. Ten people, or 58.8%, have mental toughness in the medium category and four with mental toughness in the wide variety. Female athletes own the low class; the medium type is owned by at least five men and five women, while four male athletes hold the high course. It is hoped that coaches must be able to understand the importance of the mental aspect in athletes because it will significantly affect their performance when competing

This study aims to analyze the realization of the policy of educational sports development patterns based on sports law. In accordance with the mandate of the sports law that sports education is an important part of nation-building in order to improve the quality of life and human welfare. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted in Bogor Regency with the consideration that it is the only region that has a concentration on the development of sports education. This is certainly expected to be a role model for other regions in the development of sports education. Then by conducting observations, documentation studies, and interviews as a tool for data collection. To analyze the data collected, we designed ten indicators based on the essence of sports law in the scope of educational sports. Then, the data is analyzed by referring to the analysis method of the realization of Korten's policy which views three dimensions. The first dimension is the compatibility between the program and the user. Second, the suitability between user groups and the capabilities of the implementing organization. Third, compatibility between user groups and implementing organizations. The results of this study found that the realization of the applied educational sports development pattern policy was close to conformity with what was stated in the sports law. Although, there are still some aspects that are not optimal in their implementation, which is caused by the absence of a good relationship between the three dimensions, namely policies (programs), implementing organizations, and user groups (society). Therefore, the government as the policy maker by collaborating with the community must immediately improve in realizing the pattern of developing educational sports in accordance with the mandate of the sports law.
