Dribble is the most fundamental technique in basketball to improve the students' lay-up ability in the basketball extracurricular program at SMPN 8 Palopo. The mistakes occur when doing lay-ups, such as the first step, which needs to be longer, travelling and double. The study aims to determine the effect of right and left dribble lay-ups on the students' lay-up ability in basketball extracurricular programs. The method is experimental (Pretest-Posttest Design). The population is 20 students. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The result of this research shows that there is a significant relationship between the right and left-side lay-ups of extracurricular basketball students. This research concludes that there is a substantial increase in students' lay-up ability at SMP 8 Palopo by applying right-side and left-side lay-up dribbles. Right-side lay-up dribble is more effective in increasing the extracurricular basketball students lay up capacity at SMPN 8 Palopo.

Traditional herbal medicine is a heritage used for treatment and health maintenance in Indonesia. One is to improve physical fitness with ginger, free-range chicken eggs, palm sugar and honey. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of herbal medicine on the physical fitness level of swimming athletes in Palopo to discover if traditional herbal drinks affect physical fitness levels. This study uses an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest research design with the number of samples in this study are 15 athletes combined into one group. This research was conducted for 16 meetings. The analysis was carried out in the University of Muhammadiyah Palopo campus; the groups were combined into one and given treatment in the form of herbal drinks after carrying out pretest activities with a dose of 250 ml. To measure the final data of the fitness test after consuming the herbal drink, a posttest was carried out, which later became a comparison of whether there was an effect of the herbal drink on the level of physical fitness. The results of this research show an improvement in physical fitness by drinking traditional herbal medicine the Palopo Swimming athletes. Thus, there is a significant relationship between consuming conventional herbal medicine and Palopo swimming athletes' physical fitness.

Life skills are one of the components in forming positive youth development. The purpose of this research is to find out intentionally structured programs that are widely used to improve life skills through out-of-school activities, to find out about out-of-school programs used to enhance life skills which are included in intentionally structured programs and to find out the results of intentionally structured programs on improving life skills through out of school activities, the research method in this study used systematic literature review which is a literature review method that identifies, assesses, and interprets all findings on a research topic, to answer predetermined research questions. In this study, researchers used 30 Final Paper journals to review 210 journals taken from 4 databases: Taylor & Francis, Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Sage. The results showed that participation in structured school activities programs was intentional in its application. Can produce quality programs where this can contribute to youth development in a positive direction. This shows that the Intentionally structured program that is implemented in out-of-school activities in its implementation can influence positive youth development; this can be seen from the increase in the elements 5C elements in (PYD) namely Competence, Confidence, Connection, Character and Caring Or Compassion.

This study aimed to determine whether there is a relationship between children's nutritional status and physical fitness. This research is quantitative research with a correlational design whose goal is to link two or more variables. The instrument used to measure the nutritional status of children is the maximum physical fitness index (BMI) and the Indonesian physical fitness test (TKJI). The results of the data were analyzed using the SPSS application. The results of the descriptive analysis of the nutrition variable had the lowest score of 13.3 and the highest score of 19.2, with an average value of 18.8. In contrast, the TKJI variable had the lowest score of 13 and the highest score of 19, with an average value of 1.9. From the research data and analysis, the significant value is 0.002 <0.05. Thus, it means a relationship between nutritional status and physical fitness with the meaning of H¹ received.
