The article determines the influence of threats on economic security of enterprises. It offers the directions of counteraction to the threats to economic security of enterprises, which involve the expansion in international markets, diversification of production, development of innovation activity by strengthening of scientific and technical interaction, which will promote a more efficient use of enterprises’ potential. The article presents the proposals on improving the process of making managerial decisions for boosting the effectiveness of counteraction to the threats. It proves the necessity of using the indicator of bankruptcy probability diagnosis in the system of assessing the state of economic security of enterprises for a more complete study of the threats to economic security. The article suggests the improved mechanism of counteraction to the threats to economic security, based on the concept that takes into account the use of the opportunities provided by external and internal environments, perspective directions of development, strengthening of integration links of functional systems of the enterprise with the aim of effective counteraction to the threats to economic security and ensuring economic growth of subject of management. The article substantiates the criteria of selection of suppliers of enterprises and defines the conceptual bases of a choice of perspective for markets of the enterprises. The study also determines the necessity of adherence to the principles of complexity, professionalism, and activity with the purpose of effective work of the mechanism of counteraction to the threats to economic security.

This article explores the design and construction of national and larger international biometric identification databases. An analytical study of the resource efficiency problem of a system comprising multiple mobile local biometric readers connected through a limited communication channel with a central database is done. A suggested approach is to accelerate the computation process based on the partial storing of signs information for templates. The presented analytical models can be used for subsequent optimization.

In order to assess properly the development of such a particular market as the electricity market in the European Union and Bulgaria, it is necessary to take many factors into account - the political attitudes, the administrative legal framework, the general economic conjuncture, the financial, environmental and other restrictions. The electricity consumption is vital for every household and for every producer. It is linked to the national security and therefore there is no end of the disputes about the state's involvement as a supplier and market regulator.

The development and changes of information and communication technologies (ICT) which caused individuals and companies’ behavior change are major issues in nowadays marketing. This article focuses on understanding peculiarities of the decisions taken by companies in marketing communication processes via social networks taking as a case fashion industry, and seeking how to improve these decisions making processes for increase brand awareness and consumer engagement. The goal of this article is to analyze and identify the peculiarities of marketing communication - which media encourage a dialogue between organization and audience that will lead to sale success and engagement. For reaching the goal such research methods as literature analysis, comparison and synthesis were employed, empirical research of consumer preferences identification was conducted using the questionnaire.

Entrepreneurship is a major driver of modern economy. Students can be seen as potential future entrepreneurs. It is therefore very important to examine the main determinants of intentions for entrepreneurial activity. The study is based on the Theory of Planned Behaviour. According to her, the main determinants that affect the intention of certain behavior are attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. The goal of the present paper is to analyze the influence of these three determinants on entrepreneurship intentions and career choice of business students in the three countries. The research encompasses a sample of business students trained in the Kazimierz Pulaski University of Technology and Humanities – Radom, Poland, Prof. Ass. Zlatarov – Burgas, Bulgaria and National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine – Kiev, Ukraine.

The main type of power production unit for supplying of electric vehicles are proposed. An analytic and technical study of the photovoltaic panel and the electrolyser is presented.

Rapid technical progress in the field of industrial and information technology and its impact on production systems will put more and more pressure on both their structure and the distinctive features of this process. The boundaries will become more and more distorted and the structure of production will change substantially. The pursuit of a complex improvement of technological, auxiliary and information activities will increasingly become a major factor in the development of modern production. And this means that on the basis of new communication and computer achievements, nanotechnologies and other technical solutions, the manufacturing structure will change globally. The future production will be considered as a whole, including techniques, technology, and information processes, and functionally integrated manufacturing components such as logistics. The purpose of this report is to analyze the impact of technologies on the stability of integrated logistics information throughout the supply chain.

The paper presents a comparative analysis between classical organizational management structures and modern ones in creative business context. The author explores the strengths and weaknesses of these two major types of organizational structures in the light of specifics and characteristics of the creative industries. Several examples from Bulgaria covering different branches of creative business are provided in order to compare theoretical postulates with the practice. The major findings of the paper are connected to the direct relation between the size of the enterprise, its owner and the chosen type of the organizational structure.

Amongst all the major hazard aspects for the health of people in big conglomerates is the increase of the particulate matter concentration. Traditional systems for particulate matter (PM) monitoring have a great number of drawbacks but the main issues are economical and are related to the installation costs and never ending periodical maintenance expenses. After all there are installations of such systems but their number is limited and having in mind the growth of population, cities and industry areas, there is even a bigger need for more information on air quality because PM changes non-linearly, has a wide range and different sources. In this paper, we propose an approach, based on low-cost sensor nodes, for real-time measuring and obtaining information about the PM concentration. The adoption of that approach allows for a detailed study of the intensities of pollution and its sources. The system power supply is powered by a PV module. The power supply unit is designed using a model-based design that is a new approach to prototyping power-operated electronic devices with guaranteed performance.

The present paper was worked out the Selection and Comparative Study of RP Technologies for Personalized Implant Manufacturing. Considering the higher accuracy as more significant parameter compared to the material efficiency, the high speed milling was selected as most appropriate for the femoral stem manufacturing. In order to validate the NC programs, a sample of the femoral stem was produced. From the validation it can be concluded that the NC programs is adequate and adapted the possibilities and the working area of the machine. It follows that the femoral stem could be manufactured from Ti6Al4V using these programs.
