This research aims to describe and analyze teacher personality in shaping student character at school. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type in an elementary school. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by condensing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that teachers teachers have personality competencies and pedagogical competencies that encourage better learning. Teachers have attempted character development by integrating noble character values during school. This effort goes through four stages: attentional, retention, motor reproduction, and motivational. Suppose teachers can be good role models while at school, students will gradually be able to pay attention and become motivated by their actions. This will present student impulses that work below the level of consciousness to demonstrate the virtues modeled by the teacher. This is as explained in social learning theory by Albert Bandura.

The number of respondents in the study is 330 students of the polytechnic in West Java, which is determined by sampling technique, which is cluster proportional random sampling. The hypothesis testing was done using a multivariate statistical test of the Partial Least Square (PLS). The data processing was done with smartPLS 2.0 programs and Statistical Programs of Social Science (SPSS) for Windows. Drug abuse is still very common in Indonesia, including in West Sumatra, which will result in psychological changes in users. A reliable method is needed to be able to detect the presence of narcotics and their metabolites in human specimens. The purpose of the study was to validate the mass spectrophotometric gas chromatography method for the measurement of amphetamine and metamphetamine. The benefits of research to ensure that the analytical method is accurate, specific, reproducible and resistant to the range of analytes to be analysed. The research method is by measuring the sample with GCMS (gas chromatography mass spectrometry) and then conducting a linearity test, detection limit test, accuracy test and precision test. The matrix used is urine specimen, spike is done with amphetamine and methamphetamine standards. From the results of the validation of amphetamine and methamphetamine measurement methods obtained MDL (method detection limit) 3.10 µg/L, LoD (limit of detection) 2.962 µg/L and LoQ (limit of detection) 2.962 µg/L. of Quantification) 9.873 µg/L. In the measurement of methamphetamine MDL 7.072 µg/L, LoD 6.757 µg/L and LoQ 22.253 µg/L. Accuracy of amphetamine and methamphetamine measurement methods 101.9% and 95.2% and reproducibility of amphetamine and methamphetamine measurements 3.83% and 6.743%. This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge and capability on employee performance at PT. Ramajaya Pramukti Tapung, Kampar Regency. The population in this study were all employees at PT. Ramajaya Pramukti Tapung, Kampar Regency. The sample of this study used the technique of the census method so that the sample was all employees at PT. Ramajaya Pramukti Tapung Kampar Regency as many as 100 people. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observations and research files. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with a significant level (α) of 0.05. The results of this study conclude that Knowledge and Capability have a partially significant effect on employee performance, with a significant value less than 0.05. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that Knowledge and Capability have a significant simultaneous effect on employee performance at PT. Ramajaya Pramukti Tapung Kampar Regency. There is a very strong relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The contribution of Knowledge and Capability variables to employee performance is 85.80%, which is very high.

Various types of marine vessels require fuel to drive the main engine and auxiliary engines. The fuel requires hot steam as a heater so that the fuel reaches the appropriate temperature, not only fuel but hot steam is also needed for the accommodation space on the ship. The steam boiler is a closed vessel that can produce hot steam with a pressure greater than one atmosphere, to be able to produce hot steam, a heated medium is needed, namely fresh water. The water used in the steam generation process greatly affects the condition of the boiler. Therefore, the quality of water in the boiler must always be considered and maintained so that it is always in good condition, so that the boiler will always be in prime condition. In reality, steam boilers often experience disturbances, such as on the MV. ILE DE RE there is a decrease in the quality of boiler water and the occurrence of scale in the boiler. In this case, the research used an observation research method on boiler water by testing boiler water and it was found that the quality of boiler water was not up to standard with low pH levels up to 6.8, high alkalinity and high chloride up to 200 ppm. there is also a scale formation on the boiler water pipe which can be seen from the dirty condition of the boiler water when taken.

Ultraviolet water sterilizer is a long cylindrical device used for the sterilization of water into drinkable water. Ultraviolet water sterilizer has two main parts: an adapter and UV tubes. The adapter serves to drain the ratio of electricity according to the voltage and current required by ultraviolet water sterilizer. UV tubes contain ultraviolet lamps where light is the main equipment for making the water drinkable and the water will flow along with the ultraviolet rays, so that the water flowing in the tube is passed through the sterilization process with ultraviolet rays so that the water is unfit for consumption. The problems that the authors take in this study are the factors that affect the declining quality of sterilization, the impact of what happens when the quality of sterilization decreases, and what efforts are made to keep the quality of sterilization is not decreased. The data was collected through observations, interviews, and literature directly related to the subject related to the factors, the impact, as well as the efforts of the decline in the sterilization process to the sterilizer in order to improve the quality of drinking water. Ultraviolet water sterilizer has two main parts: an adapter and UV tubes. The adapter serves to drain the ratio of electricity according to the voltage and current required by ultraviolet water sterilizer. UV tubes contain ultraviolet lamps where light is the main equipment for making the water drinkable and the water will flow along with the ultraviolet rays, so that the water flowing in the tube is passed through the sterilization process with ultraviolet rays so that the water is unfit for consumption. The problems that the authors take in this study are the factors that affect the declining quality of sterilization, the impact of what happens when the quality of sterilization decreases, and what efforts are made to keep the quality of sterilization is not decreased. The data was collected through observations, interviews, and literature directly related to the subject related to the factors, the impact, as well as the efforts of the decline in the sterilization process to the sterilizer in order to improve the quality of drinking water. The cause of the decline to the sterilization process in order to improve the quality of drinking water in MV. PAN EPIC that dirty filters, dirty water tubes, and the dirty ultraviolet lamp or resulting in less fresh water, complaints against the company, as well as the ship's operational costs are reduced. The main engine sea water cooling pump is a type of centrifugal pump as one of the pumps that is often found in the ship machinery industry working on the principle of impeller rotation as a fluid transfer element driven by a propulsion engine. The liquid inside will rotate due to the impetus of the blades and cause a centrifugal force which causes the liquid to flow from the middle of the impeller and out through between the blades and leave the impeller at high speed. The sea water cooling pump has a very important role in supporting the cooling system process on the main engine. If the coolant pump does not work properly, it will result in a less than optimal cooling system. Like the problems the author experienced when carrying out sea practice on the MT ship. This causes problems with the lack of maximum performance from the pump impeller and pump vibrations that are too high. which resulted in affecting the performance of the main engine and disrupting the operation of the ship. The purpose of this research is to find out the cause of the less than optimal performance of the impeller on the pump and find a solution. and to find out the cause of too high vibration in the pump and find a solution. While this research method is a qualitative descriptive research method. The results of this study are expected to be useful in science as a contribution to ideas related to the analysis of the performance of seawater cooling pumps to support ship operations.

Fresh water generator is an auxiliary aircraft aboard a ship that produces fresh water by evaporating seawater in the evaporator and the seawater is cooled by condensation in a distillation vessel or condenser (condenser), thus producing condensed water called condensate. Fresh water generator running optimally is one of the important factors to support ship operations, especially the results of the fresh water generator used for cooling systems and daily needs on board. This study aims to find out the causes of the problems and efforts that occur in the fresh water generator so that it can maintain fresh water production results in the fresh water generator. While data analysis is to identify the data set that has been obtained, so that the data can be analyzed and the purpose is analyzed in order to get a clearer picture in the preparation of this research both from the problems and the final results. It is hoped that this research research can produce ideas, solutions and appropriate problem solving, both in observing and dealing with the problems raised in this study. Based on research on fresh water production on fresh water generators in MT. Rubra has decreased from 19 tonnes/day to 12 tonnes/day. This is caused by the occurrence of salt deposits on the evaporator plate so that evaporation becomes late and the low pressure of sea water leading to the fresh water generator causes fresh water production to decrease
