Realistic mathematics is a very important approach that links the real world with student learning activities. This quantitative study aims to obtain information related to improving the SAVI learning model with RME on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This research involved 60 students (30 students VIIIc and 30 students VIIIa) who were positioned as research subjects. Students' mathematical problem solving abilities were collected using a rubric in the form of an essay consisting of 5 questions. The collected data was tested using the t-test. The results of this study inform that students' problem solving abilities on cube and cuboids with RME learning are better than students who follow SAVI learning in class VIII students of MTs Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa Deli Serdang.

The purpose of this study is to find out an overview of students' mathematical comprehension ability based on high, medium, and low learning independence. This research is a qualitative method research. The subjects in this study were students of class XI TKJ SMK As-Salaam Jatibarang in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The data collection methods used are tests, questionnaires, interviews and documentation, as well as field notes. The results of the questionnaire will be selected according to the learning independence category, and the test results will be analyzed using the ATLAS.ti 8 application and interviews to students according to the category of learning independence that has been selected according to the results of the learning independence questionnaire. The results of this study are students of class XI TKJ SMK As-Salaam Jatibarang who have high learning independence will have high mathematical comprehension ability, students who have low learning independence will have low mathematical comprehension ability, but students who have learning independence will have high mathematical comprehension ability.

The decline in the character of students today is due to the impact of the flow of globalization of information and technology such as no passion in learning, noisy when the teacher explains, low self-confidence, lack of sense of responsibility for the tasks given by the teacher, and tends to be passive so we need a new changes to implement character education in the mathematics learning process.This study aims to determine the implementation of character education in the mathematics learning process, to find out the obstacles to implementing character education in the mathematics learning process, and to find out strategies to overcome obstacles in implementing character education in the mathematics learning process in class X MAS Hajijah Amalia Sari Padangsidimpuan.This research is a qualitative research with the approach used is descriptive ethnography. The primary data sources were the mathematics teacher and class X student of MAS Hajijah Amalia Sari Padangsidimpuan. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation.The results showed that character education for students in class X MAS Hajijah Amalia Sari Padangsidimpuan had been applied in the mathematics learning process. Specific findings obtained are a lack of student motivation, lack of enthusiasm for learning, lack of infrastructure and lack of time discipline. The strategy in overcoming these obstacles is to familiarize students with applying character values, providing good examples, giving warnings, making conditioning such as posters or slogans that show character values and completing infrastructure facilities that can build character education values in the mathematics learning process.

This study aimed to determine students' critical thinking skills on the subject of number patterns using the Blended Learning learning model. The research was conducted at MTsN 3 Kerinci, Academic Year 2021/2022. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method with a posttest-only control design. The research instrument used is a critical thinking ability test. The results showed that the critical thinking ability of students who were taught with the Blended Learning leraning model assisted by video tutorials had an average score of 8.58, and the class that did not use the Blended Learning learning model assisted by video tutorials had an average score of 6.24. Thus, this study concludes that the Blended Learning learning model has a significant influence on students' critical thinking ability.

Learning limitations as a result of the covid-19 pandemic which requires distance learning or online learning (on the network) of history subjects based on the telegram application. This type of qualitative descriptive research aims to find out the events, facts and circumstances that occurred during the research by presenting what happened. This research was conducted to see the process and impact of the use of the telegram application on students' history learning at SMA Negeri 2 Kabanjahe. The data instrument in this study used observations, online interviews and instrument filling in class XI IPS 2 students as samples using google forms, as well as documentation. The method used to analyze the data is a qualitative technique. The result of the research is that by utilizing the telegram application in history learning for class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Kabanjahe, it runs well with few obstacles on the network in the event of rain or power outages. This can be seen in the smooth learning process and the results of interviews with teachers and students who say there are no obstacles in the use of this telegram application as a medium in the history learning process, other than only network constraints in the event of rain or power outages. It can also be proven in the learning outcomes of students in the cognitive (knowledge) and psychomotor (skills) aspects that are good with the percentage of completeness reaching (64.7%) in the cognitive (knowledge) and (85.2%) psychomotor aspects (Skills).

This study aims to describe the implementation of training and development of human resources based on the work culture of the Politeknik Negeri Medan. For the world of higher education itself, training and human resource development are considered very important, because they have human resources who can meet the operational needs of banks and have a high sense of responsibility for the quality of graduates produced in order to create and fill jobs in the future. The type of research in this research is qualitative with descriptive method. Training and development as well as facilities are factors that can improve employee performance. Especially for the Medan State Polytechnic, the facility factor has a more dominant influence. Therefore, it is recommended that the leadership of the Medan State Polytechnic, in addition to conducting training and development, should emphasize increasing the facilities needed by employees. This can be done by prioritizing the procurement program for facilities that can improve employee performance, such as administrative equipment and transportation facilities.

Teuku Nyak Makam was a prominent warlord on the East coast of Aceh in defending sovereignty from Dutch interference. In addition, the front guard of the Tamiang, Langkat and Deli regional bases. This study aims to describe the model of women's empowerment in fishing areas. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The research was conducted through interviews, field observations, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to collect the required data. Informants in this study were representatives from the Department of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and the Office of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, as well as women in the fishing area of Bila Hilir. The research location is Bilah Hilir Village, Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra Province which is one of the fishing villages with the community's economic level far below the poverty line. The results showed that low income caused many fishermen's children to drop out of school, and become entangled with moneylenders. The government's lack of attention to developing the fishermen's economy has made women in this fishing area just give up. This study concludes that there has been no empowerment carried out by the Labuhanbatu Regency government for women in the Bila Hilir fishing area.

The research location is Bilah Hilir Village, Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra Province which is one of the fishing villages with the community's economic level far below the poverty line. The results showed that low income caused many fishermen's children to drop out of school, and become entangled with moneylenders. The government's lack of attention to developing the fishermen's economy has made women in this fishing area just give up. Nowadays, the organization can be called a boundaryless organization, as moving from one organization to another and from one place to another is inevitable. In this regard, understanding the condition and characteristics of a society and culture is a must for a leader. A leader, especially a change leader, has to understand the culture, as he or she has to influence subordinates to follow the organization's objectives, without employees' commitment and support, the organizational change will be hard to achieve. Meanwhile, Indonesia consists of thousands of islands with various ethnics and cultures, making Indonesia a very diverse country, which then makes a leader should have an understanding of the characteristics of the people in the organization. The ethnic of Bugis-Makassar is the majority of the ethnic who stay in Makassar city. This study uses a qualitative approach with FGD as the tool in data collection. The number of participants is 30. The results show that the majority of the participants prefer to have a leader with the role of Coach compared with the other two roles. This result is expected to have contributed to the change leader that will be assigned in the organization with the majority of people from Bugis-Makassar.

Pesantren is a place to study which is more important education and learning based on religious knowledge. Generations of graduates from Islamic boarding schools are expected to be able to develop and practice knowledge in society in accordance with religious values. Islamic boarding schools that are established in Indonesia certainly have differences, both from the history, learning methods, facilities, problems, and even culture. This study aims to find out the problems and culture in Islamic boarding schools, especially Islamic boarding schools located in Pekalongan , Wonosobo, Banjarnegara, Karawang, and also North Bengkulu. As for the descriptive method with a comparative approach is the method used, which is useful in comparing a phenomenon, event, and also the symptoms that occur. The benefits that can be obtained from the results of conducting this research are that it can provide an overview of the problems are culture that exist in Islamic boarding schools. The results obtained are the similarity of problems such as truancy, ilness, and lack of educator. The differences are the type of pesantren, history, and also complementary facilities. In addition, cleaning the environment has become a culture that is carried out in the five pesantren. The conclusion in this study is that in dealing with problems that arise, the need for cooperation between pesantren residents and mutual support for each other.
