On the design of a power conversion circuit 关于电源转换电路的设计

A kind of power conversion circuit, which converts positive voltage into negative one is presented according to the principle of negative voltage charge pump, so the DC output voltage is doubled. Factors affecting the speed and accuracy of MOS switches are fully considered, and a charge pump with MOS switches working in linear region is designed, avoiding the problem of threshold voltage drop. By single positive power supply, a non-overlapping clock is generated skillfully by changing switching threshold voltage of the inverters, to drive the MOS switches correctly with positive and negative voltage. The simulation results based on CMOS 0.35 mum technology show that, at 1 MHz refresh frequency, the circuit converts +1.5 V to -1.5 V, with error less than 0.2%, and setup time less than 20 mus. Besides, the circuit is less limited by the supply voltage and refresh frequency, and is not sensitive to the variations of process.

Image spatial diffusion on GPUs gpu上的图像空间扩散

Image spatial diffusion targets on blurring small discontinuities while sharpening distinct edges. We propose two GPU-based methods to efficient generate content-aware spatial diffused images. In the first method, we apply an enhanced bilateral filter on the input image. Our filter adopts a spatial weight kernel in the form of an inverted Gaussian. This inverted-Gaussian-spatial bilateral filter (IGSB) can remove small spots in large smooth areas more efficiently than Gaussian bilateral filter that are commonly used. In the second method, we present a fast approximation of mean-shift algorithm on GPUs. Considering the parallel nature of GPUs, the process of mean-shift kernel density estimation is modified and improved to achieve satisfied color image diffusion effects.

Adjustable low consumption circuit for monitorization of power source voltages in a SoC 用于监控SoC电源电压的可调低功耗电路

This paper proposes an architecture for a power good comparator (PGC) designed to be used in the monitorization of supply voltages of a system-on-chip (SoC). The architecture includes a string of resistors, a comparator, a programmable debouncer and two multiplexers. This architecture was design for very low power consumption and to monitor 4 VDDs. I was implemented using TSMC 65 nm CMOS technology for VDD values of 0.9, 1.2, 1.8 and 3.3 V, with 8 programmable levels of debouncing from 3.2 mus to 32.4 mus. The PGC maximum consumption is 3.54 muA. The output signal presents a digitally adjustable hysteresis curve, with a high threshold voltage of 93% and a low threshold voltage of 90% of VDD. Practical implementation details are presented, namely the requirement for level-converters and for a bulk bias selector in the input multiplexer.

Dynamic secondary arc analysis and simulation research under different line model 不同线路模型下的动态二次电弧分析与仿真研究

In the extra high voltage (EHV) transmission system, the transient single-phase to ground faults are the most frequent to occur. Even after the opening of breakers in the two sides of the fault line, an induced current still exists in the arc because of the electrostatic and the electromagnetic coupling from the other two sound phases. Along with the enhancement of the voltage grade, the influence of the secondary arc becomes more and more, and may probably lead to the failure of the reclosing if the secondary arc is not extinguished promptly. In this paper, the dynamic secondary arc model (including recovery voltage and the secondary arc current) in single-phase asymmetric breaking is established based on the distribution parameters of EHV long-line. The method of twice-mode transformation is adopted to calculate the steady-state value of the secondary arc current and recovery voltage. Furthermore, the affects of different overhead line models on the secondary arc current are also analyzed through the real time digital simulation.

A novel inter-area oscillation damping design based on wide area measurements 基于广域测量的新型区域间振荡阻尼设计

Based on modal analysis, this paper analyzes the shortcoming existing in the modal observability of the control performance of traditional PSS (power system stabilizer). This is further explained by transfer function zero action. To tackle this problem, wide area measurement is adopted as feedback signals to improves the modal observability, and thus damp the inter-area oscillation. Finally, eigenvalue analysis is made on a typical three area interconnected power system to test the performance of different controller and wide area measurement based controller is proved to be effective.

Visualization tool for transient stability monitoring of bulk power systems based on DSR 基于DSR的大容量电力系统暂态稳定监测可视化工具

Dynamic security region (DSR) gives power system engineers systematic and global information about the feasible operation region. This paper is a result of an investigation into the use of DSR concept and its effective application in bulk power systems. It particularly concerns with developing a software-based tool for the transient stability monitoring in the on-line operation environment. A practical DSR solving method based on massively parallel computer clusters is described, and a new software package, named power system dynamic security region (PSDSR) is developed. Following a brief discussion about the main requirements, the paper gives a summary of the development of PSDSR from both the software architecture and the function implementation. A most distinctive character, the practical application in monitoring the cut-set power flows, with result visualization is emphasized.

This paper presents a current controlled fully balanced second-generation current conveyor circuit (CFBCCII). The proposed circuit with the fully balanced structure can restrain odd order harmonic distortion and common-mode disturbing signal effectively. Furthermore, the circuit has the property of current controllability, which can adjust its interior parameter via tuning bias current. PSPICE simulation confirms the performance of the proposed circuit.

A capacitive-coupled transformerless active power filter with coupling current feedback control 具有耦合电流反馈控制的电容耦合无变压器有源电力滤波器

This paper presents a low rating capacitive-coupled transformerless active power filter (APF) for reactive power, current harmonics and neutral current compensation in three-phase four-wire distribution power system. Besides the benefits of APFpsilas rating and initial cost reduction, it can lessen the switching loss and electromagnetic interference (EMI) problems, without significantly deteriorates the compensation capability. A novel control strategy is also proposed to strengthen the system damping and stability. Thus, the capacitive-coupled APF is characterized by low capacity, economical cost, stable and good filtering performance. Finally, simulation results are given to verify the viability and effectiveness of the APF and its control.

A new iterative reconstruction scheme for signal reconstruction 一种新的信号重构迭代方案

Projection Onto Convex Sets (POCS) is an iterative method to obtain the information from one domain using the information available in other domains, and it has been widely used in image restoration problems and block-based DCT compression standards as a post-processing scheme. In this paper, we study an iterative signal reconstruction method for signal reconstruction and sparse signal compression. This method is similar to POCS method. From known partial time-domain samples and partial frequency-domain coefficients, it iteratively projects the signal onto the known samplespsila subspaces and the known coefficientspsila subspaces. Finally the signal can recover closely by using this iterative reconstruction scheme. Some experiments show this method can correctly and effectively reconstruct the underlying signals.

A RSSI-based environmental-adaptive dynamic radiation power management for Wireless Sensor Networks 基于rssi的无线传感器网络环境自适应动态辐射功率管理

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is one of the active research topics in the field of computer network since it provides three types of basic services: sensing, processing, and disseminating. Ad-hoc and multi-hop WSNs are commonly used in many applications; therefore, maintaining stability of WSN is an essential issue in present days. However, node failures are not exceptions in WSN. Many factors may cause sensor nodes to fail, such as energy exhaustion, out of communication range, or node module damage. These damages are usual incidents in practical WSN applications. Except node module damages that we are unable to look after, we propose an energy-efficient routing algorithm to prolong the lifetime of nodes in WSN. Another feature of the proposed algorithm is that each node routes network packets independently throughout the entire WSN. It makes that algorithm to provide autonomic management of the links in WSN.
无线传感器网络(WSN)提供感知、处理和传播三种基本服务,是计算机网络领域的研究热点之一。Ad-hoc和多跳无线传感器网络在许多应用中都很常用;因此,保持无线传感器网络的稳定性是当前一个至关重要的问题。然而,节点故障在WSN中并不例外。导致传感器节点故障的原因有很多,如能量耗尽、通信范围超出、节点模块损坏等。这些损坏是无线传感器网络实际应用中经常发生的事件。除了我们无法处理的节点模块损坏外,我们提出了一种节能的路由算法来延长WSN中节点的生命周期。该算法的另一个特点是每个节点在整个WSN中独立地路由网络数据包。使该算法能够对无线传感器网络中的链路进行自主管理。
