Compare to random testing, Adaptive random testing generates test cases evenly in the input domain so that it can detect the first failure of the program using fewer test cases. But It is found that adaptive random testing will be more inclined to generate test cases on the boundary in the input domain, which is called “Boundary Effect”. The “Boundary Effect” will affect the performance of the adaptive random testing in certain situations, such as in multi-dimensional input domain. This paper presents an effective way to solve the “Boundary Effect” of adaptive random testing in order to enhance the performance in high-dimensional input domain.

The research is unfolded on eye location, tracking and study the state of the eye in the eye recognition system. By means of improving traditional Susan operator, we design the corner extraction operator of precise positioning of the eye. According to the characteristics of external environment being no interference to the inner corner of the eye, the research extracted a small corner of the template for the eye tracking. The design operator can adapt to variation in complex background and have higher computational efficiency. According to VC + + platform experiment, the results show that detection accuracy rate of standard frontal face comes to 95%, and of monitoring image detection “eyes - face” window position comes to 90%.

Personalized distance education system should be able to find the individual differences of learners and construct personalized learning environment to meet their individual needs. Web mining technology userd in this paper aims to provide for each user personalized interfaces and services according as their individual characteristics. In this paper, a functional architecture of a personalized learning system based on Web mining is proposed, and providing learner with a personalized learning environment is a focus. The process of Web mining in this architecture is given and mainly includes four steps: (1) the collection of data, (2) the pretreatment of data, (3) the analysis of data and (4) the determination and generation of personalized output. Finally, we apply the proposed architecture to a typical education system and get satisfactory results.

Science education models for secondary students have been dominated by classroom-based approaches. Recently, the student scientist apprenticeship model wherein learners worked with teachers on authentic scientific research has become increasingly popular. The purpose of this paper was to review and synthesize empirical studies that have explored learning outcomes associated with the student scientist apprenticeship model for science learners. We reviewed some studies of student scientist model for secondary students. The review explored various learning outcomes associated with participation in the student scientist apprenticeship model. These outcomes included effects of student scientist model on participant career aspirations, understandings of scientific content, confidence for doing science and intellectual development. The extant literature supported many of the presumed positive associations between research experiences and desired learning outcomes. Implications included importance of the length of the scientific research apprenticeship experiences, need to explicitly place attention on desired outcomes, and engagement of participants.

In peer-to-peer (P2P) networks, how to effective locate data on distributed hash tables is challenging and has attracted much research attention in recent years. Two measurements are usually considered when discussing the effective location of data items: the path length (the hop count for resolving a lookup request on the overlay network) and the latency (the actual time period between the issuing and completion of a lookup). In this paper, we propose a regional lookup algorithm based on super-node (Hierarchical DHT Algorithm) that routes data keys queries by region information and super-node, and keeps the finger tables on two directions to reduce the redundancy of finger tables in original Chord. The lookup process can be easily implemented by keeping only O (log2M) routing information with M regions in the Chord ring at each node. Results from theoretical analysis and simulations show that the improved lookup algorithm achieves higher lookup efficiency and scales well.

The first round trial-manufacture prototype of high speed forklift has some disadvantages, such as obviously vertical vibration, deficiencies in steering aligning, and so on. These disadvantages confine the application of high speed forklift in actual engineering. Therefore it is urgent to improve and optimize high speed forklift. On the basis of analyzing the influence factors according to corresponding automotive theory, the constructing rules for the simulation model are put forward. The virtual prototype, which is the CAE model of dynamic simulation about matching analysis between the chassis and body, is constructed on the platform of ADAMS/Car. The constructed virtue prototype has the modularization framework and the data communication interfaces between the model units. Then the simulation about vertical vibration and steering aligning of the vehicle's running performance is implemented. Aiming at the performance optimization of the vehicle's vertical vibration and steering aligning, the technical measures about improvement design of the suspension system in chassis are put forward. At last, the ride comfort and steering stability of high speed forklift are validated by experiments.

wireless sensor network are promising to be used in a wide range of applications, the need to effective save and retrieve the data will grow. Metadata, self-describing data about sensor nodes and sensing data, assist to the data exchange between different users and understand different capabilities provided by heterogeneous sensor networks. Metadata management in resource constrained sensor nodes is unfeasible. Meanwhile, the agent is suitable to the heterogeneous sensor network with its characteristics of self-organization, distributed and strong processing capability. So, to minimize the energy cost of sensor, prolong the lifetime of sensor network and meet the requirements of access to real-time data we propose a framework that store and collection metadata in mobile agent. The proposed approach can deal with complex metadata of heterogeneous sensor network and achieve better performance in communication costs and real time process.
