Li Feng Restaurant is a Chinese fine dining or known as a Tinghoa peranakan restaurant. Peranakan culture is an assimilation or mix of cultures between immigrants from China and Javanese, Dutch, English, Arabic, Indian, Malay, and Portuguese. However, Chinese Peranakan culture is now no longer known by modern society from its uniqueness that is rich in philosophical ornamental elements because it is replaced by modern culture that is simple and functional today. Ornamentation is one of decorative elements obtained by developing forms that exist in nature. Interior of Peranakan restaurant focuses on the ornaments and wall decorations that elevate Chinese culture so that the atmosphere supporting the restaurant is not only in serving food, but the interior appeal that gives satisfaction to visitors who come. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the descriptive explanation are followed by a general analysis according to the rules of the characteristics of Chinese walls. Implementation of typical Chinese ornaments and decorations on the walls of the restaurant will be focus on the 1st floor dining area and the 2nd floor buffet area.

Not every people has the same willingness to make a full cash payment for a real estate purchase. Their financial capability to pay in cash and more aside, some people might decide that their reserved cash would better be allocated elsewhere to cover other needs, such as business financing or other investments. They would opt to fund their real estate purchase with bank loans, which is notoriously time-consuming and lengthy in process as well as demanding relatively high interest rates in return. However, banks are not the only available source of loans to consider. Individuals are alternative lenders with untapped potentials remained to be explored in fueling credit activities. Unfortunately, it remains that many are still apprehensive about granting loans for the fear of failure on the part of the debtors to make full repayment or return of their funds. Meanwhile, the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 4 Year 1996 concerning Mortgage over Land and Related Articles (hereinafter referred to as the “Mortgage Law”) provides that not only banks are entitled to grant credit. Individuals, albeit uncommon, could also do the same and be the solution to credit funding, receiving mortgage as the collateral to secure the full payment of debts.

Test anxiety is a set of cognitive, physiological, and behavioral responses that are accompanied by concerns about the possible negative consequences of failure on the test or similar evaluative situations. High level of test anxiety can lead to negative impacts such as poor school performance, poor exam performance, psychological distress, cognitive impairment, and poor health. One effective therapy to overcome anxiety is art therapy. Art therapy is a form of therapy that involves art as a way to express feelings and communicate problems. Art therapy has many forms, one of which is mandala. Mandala is a form of art therapy that has been known to have therapeutic effects. The aim of this study is to investigate the reduction of test anxiety in college student by drawing mandala. The participants of this study were nine female college students, who are currently undergoing undergraduate study. This study used a quasi-experimental approach with one group pretest – posttest design. In this study participants were asked to take a mandala drawing session for six weeks, with one meeting session per week. Spielberger’s Test Anxiety Inventory were used as the instrument for measuring the test anxiety level. The instrument was given before and after the intervention to determine the differences before and after treatment. The results show seven out of nine participants experienced significant reduction in test anxiety scores, one participant experienced an increase in scores, and one participant did not experience a change in score.

Higher education institutions are supposed to assume huge roles within the framework of nation-building through its 3 (three) main activities, namely education, research, and community service. The progress, however, could be very slow when carried out as a single, isolated entity. The current laws and regulations as well as international trend has suggested that higher education institutions operate in close collaboration with the industry, the government, and/or civil society, especially in fulfilling their mandatory research activities. This paper suggests further improvement by adopting the circular economic model widely adapted in the environmental law regime where efficiency could be maximized by leaving little to no research final or by-products to waste, along with attempts at changing public perspective in considering autonomy, collaboration, and commercialization in educational setting.

The aim of this study is to determine the impact of gratitude group program on enhancing the quality of life of the elderly living in residential home. Living in residential home can make the elderly feel alianated and limited in doing activities related to their family members or friends. What they feel and perceive can affect their quality of life. According to WHO (1996), quality of life is the individual's perception of their position in life according to the cultural context and value systems in which they live and in relation to their goals, expectations, standards and concerns. One of the techniques to enhance the quality of life is to be grateful. Grateful experiences and expressions can help individuals build personal and interpersonal resources to deal effectively with stress and difficulties. Total subject in this study were 12 people. The research method used was quasi-experimental with randomized matched two-group design. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling, purposive sampling. Data was analyzed using Wilcoxon signed-Rank Test with SPSS 16.00 for Windows. The results showed that score of the elderly quality of life increase significantly in experimental group with gratitude group program (Z = -2.226, p = 0.026 < 0.05) than in control group without any treatment (Z = -0.946 p = 0.344 > 0.05).
数据分析采用Wilcoxon sign - rank检验,SPSS 16.00 for Windows。结果显示,实验组经感恩组治疗后老年人生活质量得分显著高于对照组(Z = -0.946 p = 0.344 > 0.05) (p = -2.226, p = 0.026 < 0.05)。

The growth of the e-commerce industry in Asia in general, and in Indonesia in particular is growing rapidly in the midst of trade flows that are increasingly rapidly advancing. The very rapid development of information technology has given rise to a new style in the trading system, and also the process of dispute resolution must also follow existing developments. The change in the way transactions in the business world from the real world to the virtual world, has given birth to a variety of new legal problems for consumers in e-commerce, where consumers often do not have a strong bargaining position and put consumers in a weak position. By using the normative juridical approach method and analytical descriptive nature, the results of the study show that the protection of consumers in trade transactions through electronic systems cannot be optimally carried out because the regulations are still scattered in several laws that require implementing regulations. In addition, Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection has not been able to reach consumer protection in electronic trade transactions as a whole, especially in the case of parties having different jurisdictions. Whereas in the case of consumer disputes, the parties can take the court or outside the court by using ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) according to the agreement of the parties, where the methods used in ADR have been agreed upon first.

The MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) Station of the Bundaran HI might become a new landmark for the city of Jakarta, since the MRT completes the existing transportation modes in Jakarta. The speed of this mode of transportation represents the rapid growth of Jakarta in all fields. The size of the station which is quite large with a very long aisle is often confusing for potential passengers, especially for the first time visiting the HI Roundabout MRT Station. Designing train station interior needs adjustment between high-mobility passengers flow and train speed to avoid stoppages, concourse congestion and rush passengers. Designing station by applying wayfinding system can create an informative and clear passengers flow. Design method included programming, schematic design, design development, construction drawing, and presentation drawing. Effective wayfinding system through the right placement of interior elements (floor, wall, ceiling) and physical signage can inform passengers on where they should be heading. As public transport facility, Bundaran HI MRT Station has potency for development of wayfinding problem.

The size of the station which is quite large with a very long aisle is often confusing for potential passengers, especially for the first time visiting the HI Roundabout MRT Station. Designing train station interior needs adjustment between high-mobility passengers flow and train speed to avoid stoppages, concourse congestion and rush passengers. Designing station by applying wayfinding system can create an informative and clear passengers flow. Design method included programming, schematic design, design development, construction drawing, and presentation drawing. Effective wayfinding system through the right placement of interior elements (floor, wall, ceiling) and physical signage can inform passengers on where they should be heading. As public transport facility, Bundaran HI MRT Station has potency for development of wayfinding problem.","PeriodicalId":346556,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd Tarumanagara International Conference on the Applications of Social Sciences and Humanities (TICASH 2020)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126128816","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
