Piano Enlightenment Education within Piaget's Theory of Children’s Cognitive Development 皮亚杰儿童认知发展理论中的钢琴启蒙教育

Since the 1990s, the rapid development of the Internet promoted the daily life in China, especially the education system. The COVID-19 pandemic has presented challenges as well as opportunities for music education. Teachers and students need to explore new methods to address the situation. This study focuses on enlightenment piano teaching, especially young children. Based on Piaget's theory of cognitive development, several teaching methods for early childhood piano instruction will be proposed in this article to help more piano teachers understand the age characteristics of pre-school children and to better assist piano instruction. In offline piano lessons, teachers may start lessons with their fingers on the keyboard and text materials. In online piano lessons, teachers can utilize various types of media for teaching. In the near future, online education could prove to be more effective. This study aims to analyze the advantages and disadvantages, and provide effective guidelines for online piano education.

Belief is regarded as a powerful emotion and ideology, which is people's views and beliefs about life and the world. It is an indispensable factor in the development of human society and can change a person's lifestyle, values and life goals. The origin of belief is not only related to the psychological needs of individuals, but also inseparable from social and cultural influences. In the course of the evolution of human society, people have gradually formed a belief system, from which various religious beliefs and sects are derived. This paper argues that beliefs are not voluntary because beliefs are not innate and invariably shaped by individual characteristics and one’s place within society.

Involvement Challenges of Applying Co-Design Methods in Mental Health Care for Older People 在老年人精神健康护理中应用协同设计方法的参与挑战

Mental health care for older persons is a common issue in developed countries. Although most elderly are aware of multiple technologies that support mental health, mere understanding does not motivate them to use them. In the last 20 years, a widespread approach has been to provide a mental health care strategy, especially for the elderly by developing a co-design mental wellness method for them. Such a co-design method is related to collaborating with multiple tasks and various co-work stages with both older people and stakeholders. However, existing literature lacks sufficient research on the impact of co-designed technologies on health and well-being, particularly in terms of implementation challenges, engagement strategies, and social adaptation. In this critical literature review, this essay will introduce the current co-design implementation on mental healthcare of older people. Then it explores the barriers to engaging with the relative stakeholders participating in co-design projects. Finally, according to the current mental wellness tool, this essay will discuss its potential effects on psychological enrichment for older people. The conclusion is that the codesign field nowadays has produced several tools and design methods for older people's mental health in the second year of their lives that facilitate their deep engagement. This co-design approach continues to iterate to be more balanced and attentive to older people's voices in the design field.

Metacognition in the field of international education: Bibliometric Analysis Based on Citespace and VOSviewer 国际教育领域的元认知:基于 Citespace 和 VOSviewer 的文献计量分析

With the development of cognitive factors in the fields of pedagogy and psychology, Metacognition has received much attention as the "cognition of cognition", This paper examines the overall development context, research hotspots and future trends of the metacognitive field from 2005 to 2023, With the help of CiteSpace and VOSviewer visual analysis software, 2143 documents from CNKI (N=348) and Web of Science (N=1795) were analyzed, The results suggest that international research on metacognition will continue to flourish in the coming years, But domestic research needs to grow. Based on the sudden analysis results of keywords, different subject integration methods, metacognitive skills and metacognitive education may become future research hotspots.

The key to revitalizing rural areas lies in talent. Cultivating college students' rural feelings is of great significance for reversing their utilitarian value tendencies and contributing to the construction of the great ideological and political pattern. This feeling can also guide them to engage in innovation and entrepreneurship in their hometowns, promoting the in-depth implementation of the rural revitalization strategy. However, in the era of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity, also known as the VUCA era, the education of rural feelings encounters certain practical challenges. These challenges include the dilution of college students' rural feelings, the scarcity of local curriculum with rural characteristics, and the ineffective connection between schools and rural areas. Therefore, universities should adhere to ideological and political guidance, cultivate college students' rural feelings by carrying out place-based teaching integrated with rural realities and strengthening the linkage between schools and rural areas. This will encourage them to actively participate in local practice, make career choices to devote themselves to issues relating to agriculture, rural areas, and rural people, and contribute to the revitalization of rural talent.

The 2024 3rd International Conference on Education, Psychology, Humanity and Historical Research (EPHHR 2024) was successfully held in Chicago, USA from May 18 to 19, 2024. The theme was approached from a variety of different perspectives, taking full advantage of the international diversity of the attendees with their myriad experiences. The main goal of the EPHHR 2024 is to provide an opportunity for academicians and professionals from various education, psychology, humanities and history related fields from all over the world to come together and learn from each other. An additional goal of the conference is to provide a place for academicians and professionals with cross-disciplinary interests to meet and interact with members inside and outside their own particular disciplines. This scientific event brings together many international researchers. On top of the local participants coming from different national universities, international participants are also registered from different countries. During the conference, the conference model was divided into three sessions, including oral presentations, keynote speeches, and online Q&A discussion. In the first part, some scholars, whose submissions were selected as the excellent papers, were given about 5-8 minutes to perform their oral presentations one by one. Then in the second part, keynote speakers were each allocated 30-40 minutes to hold their speeches. Analysis of the Alienation Theme in Eugene O’Neill’s the Hairy Ape: An Eco-Critical Perspective 尤金-奥尼尔《毛猿》中的异化主题分析:生态批判视角

In the post-industrial era, with the high development of material civilization and the continuous progression of capitalism, the ecological crisis has become increasingly severe, leading to a significant imbalance in the social order. In this context, the lower-class laborers are often caught in an animal-like predicament of survival. In O’Neill’s play The Hairy Ape, the steamship symbolizes the capitalist society, and Yank’s tragic fate reveals the disorientation, confusion, loneliness, disillusionment, and disappointment towards social reality among modern Westerners. This play serves as a warning of the crisis of human alienation in the context of post-industrial civilization. Although Yank’s exploration fails, it remains a valuable attempt by humans to seek spiritual belonging in an alienated society. The pursuit of self-worth remains a permanent subject for human beings to contemplate. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze the theme of alienation reflected in The Hairy Ape from the perspective of Eco-criticism, mainly focusing on three aspects: natural ecology, social ecology, and spiritual ecology.

Beauty but not obscenity - Aromatic depictions in the poetry of the Sheng Tang Dynasty 美而不淫--盛唐诗歌中的香艳描写

The depiction of eroticism in poetry has a long history, and that of the Shengtang poetry is particularly unique, as it is both extremely beautiful and unconventional, and is not obscene even when scrutinised by men. This article first reviews the origins of the depiction of eroticism and its evolution through the ages, and explores its deeper meaning and artistic potential. By comparing the depictions of fragrance in the poetry of the Sheng Tang and the previous dynasties, it analyses the desire for life and the characteristics of health and youth in the poetry of the Sheng Tang, and explores the unique context of the times that gave rise to this artistic feature. By studying the aesthetic attitudes of the poets of the Sheng Tang period towards the beauty of fragrance and lust, we try to explore and develop a contemporary positive and healthy aesthetic.

The Overview of Early Learning Materials Development 早期学习材料开发概述

“Learning resources” encompass a broad range of tools for educational purposes, such as textbooks, video content, graded reading materials, interactive games, online platforms, smartphones, and even dialogues that serve an instructional role. The study of early language learning materials did not last long, and it was not until the 1990s that they were formally treated as a separate academic field. Before that, it was considered less important than a teacher’s teaching performance. It seems that people cannot decide what is the most important in the process of education, but it can be said that learning materials are important. Learning languages early is crucial for a child’s development, and resources like picture books, audiobooks, language learning apps, and play-based activities enhance vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure. Early language education teachers should recognize individual differences, create a language-rich environment, and provide positive feedback, while also engaging parents in the learning process. Material writers should develop simple, culturally diverse, interactive, and relevant content, ensuring it is tested and validated by educational experts for efficacy in teaching young learners.
