In recent years, rapid advances in display technology bring about the possibility of viewing old video contents reproduced by state-of-the-art display devices such as 4K/8K ultra-high-definition TVs. The mismatch between low-quality content images and reproducing them on high-definition displays may cause visually induced human health problems. We carried out an experiment and a questionnaire to measure participants’ feelings of strangeness, discomfort and sickness in viewing a low-quality video clip presented on a high-definition display. Then we compared the results with the case of a high- quality video clip using the same display. We found that low- quality images can cause certain health problems depending on viewers’ ages. For older people such images can cause eye focusing problems rather than general symptoms, whereas for young and middle-aged people they cause both eye focusing problems and general symptoms such as discomfort and fatigue.

In 2016, "Students Development Key Competency of China" was officially published. China places great emphasis on establishing students thinking mode in digital environment, who can use information technology to solve problems and have the sense of social responsibility. In 2017, the Ministry of Education published a revised version of "High School Information Technology Curriculum Standard", which clarifies the information key competency, reconstructs the content and module of the high school information technology curriculum. In order to enable high school students to develop information key competency, information technology teachers’ key competency should be improved at first. This promotion needs to be accompanied by a systematic reform of pre-service cultivation. It is urgent to strengthen the training of information key competency of students majoring in computer education, who will be the information technology teachers in the future. This paper focuses on the information key competency of students majoring in computer education and analyse the present problems in the existing talent cultivation. Furthermore, we put forward the systematic reform measures for computer education major.

Theoretical knowledge of the compiler principle courses is often abstract and uninteresting, which may easily make students lose their confidence and interest in learning such important computer science courses. To solve this problem, we introduce the concept of gamification into the compiler principle course for teaching aids, and design the card game called Into the Stack for the LR parsing algorithm, an important theory that must be mastered by students. When playing the game, players think over the quickest way to reduce their hands, which is based on the "shift-reduce" actions in LR parsing. Simulating such core actions of LR algorithm in this game, the whole abstract theory and algorithm has been demonstrated in a way of entertainment. It would help learners overcome their fear of theoretical knowledge, stimulate their interest in learning theories and enhance their ability of applying algorithms. Applied in realistic compiler principle courses, this game and such teaching method have achieved satisfactory teaching results.

With the rapid development of deep learning, convolution neural network is widely used in image recognition and object detection. However, CNN with extensive calculation is not suitable for the mobile terminals. In this paper, lightweight convolution neural network MobileNet is modified as backbone network for small object detection based on the Zynq platform. A method of data bypass is proposed which reserves shallow feature map information to the last convolutional layer, with which the detection accuracy increases by 8%. Additionally, 16 x 4 Wallace tree addition tree is designed instead of the original two-operand addition tree generated by Vivado HLS. The usage of hardware resources is reduced by 26%. The detection accuracy of the entire acceleration system is 73.7% and the FPS is 28. Based on the methods proposed, the accelerator achieve both high detection speed and accuracy, which are better than other MobileNet hardware acceleration works.

Considering the existing overtaking model, currently only calculation of the overtaking time and distance is required for vehicles from their overtaking behavior. However, the decision of the key positions in the overtaking process ignored. Based on the existing overtaking models, this paper proposes the overtaking feasibility decision making ability of key position of overtaking process, as well as lane change decision, and adds the vehicle operating characteristics to form a complete set of different speeds for different vehicles. The model is designed for the purposes of location overtaking feasibility decision, to verify the effectiveness of the established decision model algorithm. The results show that the overtaking time and distance of the two-lane highway are closely related to the vehicle type, overtaking speed, overtaking vehicle, speed of the overtaking vehicle and the speed of the opposite vehicle. In consideration of the moving characteristics of the vehicle, different vehicles need to overtake, and the overtaking time and distance are different, and multiple decisions are made at key positions in the vehicle overtaking process. The experimental results show that the obtained results are significantly in line with the actual overtaking phenomenon.

In a increasingly globalized world, it is very important to help students to acquire the hard and soft skills needed to cope with the challenges they will face when working in such environments. However, even though students find this subject interesting and volunteer for it, it is hard, even impossible to teach college students such a distributed fashion of teamwork. In this paper, a case study is provided to illustrate the methodology and experiences of a joint course, distributed software development, of multiple universities from Asia, Europe, North and South Americas. The results show that student can get the spirit, effective communication for such web-based teamwork environment and achieve software project development. The recent developments because of the Covid-19 pandemic are the facts that now students have to cooperate remotely with each other not only across continents but also inside their own city or country. It has increased the awareness of the need for this kind of training and effectively improved the interactions between team elements in different countries and improved the students' feeling of belonging to their team.

In this paper, the key and difficult problems in the teaching process of the course of Compilers Principles are studied, as well as the theory and practice teaching models are discussed. Then a Knowledge and Ability dual-driven Teaching Model for the course of Compilers Principles is proposed, that is to let students understand and master the compilers theory and technique through the course teaching; in addition, it takes compilation teaching as an approach to reveal and analyze the problem solving rules of "problem--formalized description -- computerization", and systematically trains and improves students' ability to use language and language processors to solve problems and even to solve complex engineering problems. We have tried and popularized this teaching model in the multiple rounds of teaching practices, and embodied this teaching idea in the study and development of the course standard for the course of Compilers Principles.

The retina is an internal part of the human eye that plays a crucial role in vision. Retinal vessel segmentation is an important basis for the identification and classification of Diabetic Retinopathy (DR), Age related macular degeneration (AMD),Retinal Detachment, and other retinal diseases. At the same time, the morphological structure of retinal blood vessels can also be used to diagnose cardiovascular diseases, which is important for early diagnosis and prevention of exacerbation of the disease. There are already advanced state-of-the-art methods to help automatically segment and identify retinal vessel diseases. This paper presents the methods of the principle and applications of deep learning in retinal image analysis. We described various segmentation methods based on deep learning. Analyzing along with the limitations of each method. Finally, we proposed some suggestions for the improvement of retinal image analysis.
