Error finding is a widely-used kind of test to assess the students’ ability in program comprehension and debugging. Recently some eye-tracking based approaches have been proposed to analyze students’ cognitive process in programming, but few of them focused on the performance assessment in programming courses. In our previous work, an eye-tracking assisted framework was proposed to assess the overall performance of one student in a web-based error-find test. Aiming to provide individual diagnostics, we extend that work in this paper, and study 15 students’ performance in different phases of the online test. For each student, his performance is analyzed in two phases, i.e. the code overview phase and the subsequent phase. In the first phase, the behavior of first-time code browsing and first-time error finding is studied and compared. We find that the performance of first error-finding action has obvious correlation with the final test score. In the subsequent phase, the students’ performances are examined in activity sequence separated by the click events. We propose a new metric, namely matched ratio of program execution, to describe the proportion of gaze path matching with the program execution. Data analysis results show that, it is more helpful in interpreting students’ behavior and describing the students’ working efficiency in the test.

Bug reports can provide a great deal of assistance for developers during the process of development. But due to the large size of bug repositories, it is sometimes difficult to take advantage of these artifacts in the available time. One way of helping developers to provide summaries of these reports and provide relevant details only. Once it’s decided that this is the required report then one can study the details. As text mining technology advances, many substantial approaches have been proposed to generate optimized summaries for bug reports. In this paper, we have proposed an extractive based methodology for the generation of summaries of bug reports by using the sentence embedding. We achieved improved rouge-1 and rouge- 2 results than the previous state of the art systems for the bug report summary generation.

Skeleton-based action recognition is a branch of action recognition which uses dynamic skeletons as input. Recent research based on graph convolutional networks (GCN) has achieved remarkable performance in this area. However, feature extraction and fusion at different physical scales have not been well studied. To solve these issues, we propose a novel MultiScale Adaptive Graph Convolutional Network (MSGCN) which contains a Multi-Scale Graph Convolutional Module and a MultiScale Selective Fusion Module. Extensive experiments on NTU- RGBD dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of our method, our method achieved competitive performance on NTU-RGBD dataset.

Complex information system is widely used in modern society, and its skills assessment plays an important role in its practical work. Research on multi-record matching strategy benefits to the quality of assessment results on complex information system skills. This paper takes ERP software as an example and studies the multi-record matching strategy. It firstly designs and implements five record-matching methods, depending on the keywords, the local optimal accuracy, the local optimal scores, the global optimal accuracy and the global optimal scores, and then carries on the comparison to the effect of them. The keywords matching means that all the scoring fields in one record are matched, then the whole record is deemed to be matched. The optimal method refers to selecting the record with the maximum accuracy or scores as the matched record. The local way of matching relies on the order of the records, whereas the global one considers all the possible matches for the determination of the result. When using the accuracy as the optimal selection basis, the number of matching fields in one record must be counted. At the time if the scores are the criteria, the scores of matched fields need to be calculated before working out the final matched records. The paper is aim to help carry out the study in skills assessment and the practical work of complex information system.

Software testing is a very practical course, in order to achieve the teaching requirements of professional ability training as the important target, this paper puts forward the design of blending teaching mode of software testing course from three aspects: teaching method, teaching content and teaching evaluation. Among them, online micro-video teaching is adopted before class, and offline teaching combined with the teaching mode of flipped classroom is adopted in class, running through the teaching methods of graded project-driven and case teaching, and that online recombination test paper is adopted to test students' learning effect after class. This will form a closed loop of pre-class, in-class and after-class learning, giving play to the advantages of online and offline teaching, promoting students' personalized independent learning and in-depth learning, so as to improve students' learning effect.

For the homework that has a definitive result, identifying suspicious copied homework documents from a mass of submitted ones is usually a laborious work. Because the documents have almost the same contents, it is impossible to discover copied ones by reading and comparing their contents in detail. However, copied documents will have similar or even the same file properties to the original ones. That makes it possible to identify the suspicious copied documents with similar file properties. We develop a tool software to process the comparisons automatically. It is based on an open source third-party library, and is developed in .NET as a Windows Form application. It simply reads the file properties, and calculates the hash strings from them. It is not necessary to compare every pair of hash strings. It is just needed to sort all the files by their hash strings, then the files with the same hash strings will be put together. The tool software is named iSchood, which means Identifying Suspicious Copied HOmewOrk Documents. By this software, the suspicious copied documents can be identified in a fast and lightweight way.

It is common in most service industries to obtain customer satisfaction ratings in the form of questionnaires to improve services, an approach that suffers from sample acquisition difficulties, irrational distribution and subjective error due to customer willingness to participate. To address this issue, this article uses emotion recognition technology to analyze customer emotion expressions in videos instead of traditional questionnaires, but the task of this kind of dynamic facial expression recognition based on image sequences in the process of expression changes still faces huge challenges: traditional recognition methods ignore the relationship between expressions changes and keyframe information. Therefore, this paper proposes a network model based on BiLSTM-Attention structure in combination with VGG16. BiLSTM is used to obtain the contextual characteristics of pictures and capture the relationship between long-term emotional fluctuations. The application of attention mechanism assigns the importance of pictures representing short-term facial expressions of people, and make the model automatically learn information that is highly relevant to decision-making. Experiments show that this method can accurately determine people's comprehensive emotions over a period of time and has a good learning performance.

Active learning has been proven to improve students learning outcomes effectively. An online active learning pedagogy model is designed and applied in online Computer Systems course this Spring. The model includes five cycle phases which cover online feedback between students and instructor before class, active discussion in the online class, and asynchronous interaction after class in the virtual education environment. Based on the data from students’ questionnaires and the test score ratio shows the active learning pedagogy model is efficient for online education.

With constant progress being made in informatization of network and continuing education, remote continuing education informatization infrastructure has reached certain scale in our school. Our construction capability has been enhanced steadily, while the number and quality of digital education resources has witnessed substantial improvement. Given the wide coverage of our external learning centers (311 off-campus learning centers in over 20 provinces, including municipalities and autonomous regions, and over 100 Aopeng off-campus learning centers), some centers, with limited funding, is facing problems like high software development costs and maintenance and upgrading difficulties. On-line software service based on SaaS is a newly-emerged software application mode and also one of the three cloud computing modes. In this thesis, the on-line learning platform based on SaaS mode, being practical, universally-applicable, flexible and extendable, transformed educational software from traditional products into service, which could greatly reduce software and hardware and thereby better serve the remote continuing education in our school.
