Prekmurske ljudske pesmi v glasoslovni razpravi Avgusta Pavla (1909) 奥古斯托·帕维尔(1909)声乐讨论中的普雷克穆尔杰民歌

V prispevku osvetljujemo narečno podobo izbranih prekmurskih ljudskih pesmi. Jezik ljudskih pesmi navadno ni pravo narečje, je vmesna stopnja med narečjem in knjižnim jezikom (t. i. nadnarečje). Narečnosti se najbolj približajo zapisi ljudskih pesmi v fonetični pisavi. V članku bomo analizirali nekaj prekmurskih narečnih pesmi, objavljenih leta 1909 v glasoslovni razpravi Avgusta Pavla, in jih primerjali z zapisi v nadnarečni podobi.

Misliti, govoriti in peti folkloro 思考、谈论和歌唱民间传说

Ta zvezek Traditiones je namenjen premisleku o jeziku v folklori, o tem kako, na kakšne načine mislimo folkloro ali premišljamo o njej z vidika zaznavanja njenih jezikovnih značilnosti, ki so v vsakem jezikovnem kodu različne. Avtorice in avtorji se ukvarjajo s tem, kako se jezikovni kodi prepletajo, kako nanje vplivajo različni dejavniki – zunanji in notranji. Prispevki tako izhajajo prav iz osnovnih vprašanj, ali sta folklora in narečje intrinzično povezana in kaj pomeni jezik folklore ali celo večjezikovni sistem v folklornih tekstih in kontekstih. Nekateri članki so nastali v raziskovalnem projektu Misliti folkloro: Folkloristične, etnološke in računske perspektive in pristopi k narečju, drugi pa obravnavajo različne pristope k obravnavi narečja, jezika, folklore ter pesemskega, pripovednega in gledališkega izročila posamičnih narodov.

The article calls into question the understanding of the Kočevska (Gottschee) area as a “German language island”. Through examples of the use of different languages before the Second World War, it shows a different –multilingual or multicultural– image of this region. The author draws data from historical and archival sources, as well as from a survey that she conducted among Gottscheers (“Gottschee Germans”) living in Slovenia, Austria, Germany, the USA and Canada. Multi-Layered Communication and Function in Scottish Traveller Cant 苏格兰旅行家食堂的多层通信及其功能

Scottish Traveller Cant, a secret cover language used for communication in small groups and families, has changed in both context and function over the last century. From being a cryptolect used entirely within the culture it has now received exposure through Traveller performance and publications. Throughout these developments, the Cant continues to be a way for Travellers to control the narrative of who they are and who they wish to be. Using songs, stories, and interactions with fieldworkers, this paper explores the power of language to define and shape identity.

The article presents central paradigms on semantics and meaning. The aim is to introduce the reader of cultural studies to various aspects of modeling meaning and to provide a useful theoretical and methodological semantic apparatus. Various notions of meaning and semantics are examined from philosophical and cognitive perspectives. The author argues that meaning is a conventional entity and part of the social and cultural environment that emerges from the community of language users.

Jezik govora, jezik pesmi: Med narečjem, nadnarečjem in standardnim jezikom

V članku je obravnavano jezikovno preklapljanje iz narečja v nadnarečje oz. standardni jezik v treh položajih rabe jezika v folklornem dogodku. Ta označuje razmerje med petjem pesmi, govorom med informatorjem ali informatorko in spraševalcem ali spraševalko ter prilagajanje obeh različnim govornim položajem v dogodku. Ugotovitve temeljijo na analizi treh variant ljudske balade »Samomor nune« iz treh narečnih okolij in ene molitve ter analize govora. Ob tem avtorica razpravlja še o simbolnem pomenu rabe jezika v jezikovno-socialnem položaju ter vprašanju identitetne rabe obravnavanih jezikovnih kodov.

This article considers one song, “The Bonny Lass o Fyvie”, in examples from Scotland, England, and North America. As it moves between language areas – from Scots language into English, Ulster-Scots and American English – there are significant shifts in audiences’ understanding of its subtexts. The song was originally about women’s rights to assert independence from men’s desires, and the vulnerability of men in love. It ends as being about women’s vulnerabilities, dislocated from its indigenous culture.

In this paper we will highlight certain literary works belonging to different times and different genres, all revolving around the category of “Southern Italy”, dealing with the irreversibility of social changes and defining certain specific contexts by recalling sound-related expressions. We take into account the comedy Frischijamu by Domenico Mosca as an example of a representation of sound phenomena as perceived by the community in the semi-public environment of the ruga (gr. Pοῡγα ‘alley’).

The Anthropology of Cultural Heritage in Europe 欧洲文化遗产人类学

This article offers an overview of the origins and development of the anthropology of cultural heritage in Europe, tracing its main genealogical lineages stemming from kindred disciplines and methods in a comparative fashion. This brief genealogy is then complemented by a set of considerations and observations about the author’s personal ethnographic explorations of various European countries and regions, again with the aim of fruitful comparison. The article discusses how the anthropology of cultural heritage in Europe emerged, where it stands now, and where it might be going.
