Abstract The websites featured in this column are free online resources that detail strategies, toolkits, worksheets, information, and more to support emotional well-being, mindfulness, and self-care and to decrease stress. They also include tools to help one assess and understand their own stress levels, identify what may be causing stress, and recognize the impacts that stress has on health.

Abstract Libraries have a responsibility to be inclusive and supportive of all library users. To meet this responsibility, libraries should break down barriers that prevent library users from full participation in society. Because one in four American adults lives with a disability, the impact on their use of library services should be considered. The following six articles are quality examples of research examining the work being done by libraries as they bring the needs of library users with disabilities to the forefront.

Abstract Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become more common in everyday life. AI has been used in the creation of art, music, and, most concerning to academia, writing. Advances in computing speed have only increased the adaptability of AI, but how do users take advantage of this technology in a responsible way? AI technologies such as ChatGPT allow users to create written works that can be used in college assignments. Academia should be aware of this possibility and make ethical decisions on how to approach AI as it becomes more commonplace.

Abstract Within library and academic spaces, communities of practice are employed to cultivate professional and academic skills, develop professional identities, and provide a supportive community. Using the example of a small cohort of student research assistants at a mid-sized public comprehensive university, this paper reflects on the intersections of communities of practice and peer-learning and discusses strategies for cultivating a community of practice with student assistants providing peer research support. This paper further explores student employment in academic libraries as a High Impact Practice with an emphasis on using the community of practice to integrate the characteristics of High Impact Practices into a student employment program.

is available in print and open access editions. Specific Creative Commons licenses are included at the beginning of each chapter, and these licenses are also explained in depth in the volume. The introduction and index allow the reader to identify the chapters most relevant to their own work. Overall, it is hard to imagine a more timely and useful volume devoted to these increasingly important topics.

Abstract This article details the services the US Library of Congress’ National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled provides and the ongoing efforts it makes to modernize and keep pace with technological changes in the delivery of information services to people with temporary or permanent low vision, blindness, or a physical or reading disability that prevents them from using regular print materials.

Abstract Librarians should evaluate tutorial technology using learning science to successfully teach information literacy asynchronously. There are several technology features to consider including the ability to embed multimedia, give immediate feedback, record data, provide interactivity, allow branching scenarios, ease of use, and accessibility compliance. The purpose of this article is to evaluate popular tutorial technology based on these features while also considering cost and the time required to learn each technology.
