There are various corporate events that influence the share price of a company. Out of various events, earnings announcement is keenly awaited by investors, as it offers an opportunity to review one’s portfolio. These also act as barometers of financial soundness and solvency, and overall growth. So, the challenge of finding the impact of quarterly financial results and market price of share of selected Indian banks and IT companies is attempted through this study.

Indian population is in growing trend from 942.2 million in 1994 to 1.36 billion in 2019.Among this six per cent of India's population was of the age 65 and above (UNFPA, 2019). Today the work culture is totally changed. Both husband and wife are forced to work in the current scenario and unable to take care of their parents. The changing structure created increased problems for old age people leads to loneliness, psychological, physical health and financial insecurity. The study paper provides insight into the social and demographic factor and health related sickness of the oldest people. This research explained the cross-sectional study included a representative sample (n=116) of adults aged ≥60 years. The sample was chosen using a four-stage stratified random-cluster survey sampling method .The Chi Square test and ANOVA test was analyzed using SPSS20.

Concerning the current study about CSR, the researcher has applied persuasive approaches to achieve better results. This research study is based on qualitative assumptions, the researcher has used secondary resources to collect potential data from past studies and published journals. This study is subjected to the significance of CSR in the context of India. This study will define CSR and its importance in India. Further, it will analyze CSR related challenges in India. The main focus of the study will consider why CSR was adopted in the country.

Indian education system significantly teaching has not been tested too economical to form youths of our country employable in line with the requirement of job market. Despite the rise in range of establishments at primary, secondary and tertiary level our young educated folks don't seem to be capable of being used and recovering job opportunities. Reason being they need not non-heritable such skills essential for demand of the duty market. The present study is aimed at analyzing the status of higher education institutions in terms of Infrastructure, various courses of the institute, quality Initiatives and skill development program offered by the Institutes, in the North-East India region, so as to see whether the Higher Educational Institutes of this region are in the process of gradually developing the skills of the students in attaining excellence. The paper also laid emphasis on the measures adopted by these institutes for quality improvement, and to find out their role in combating the adversity acclaimed in the region, since this region’s development is impeded by certain inherent difficulties However, this paper focuses attention on high quality education with special emphasis on higher education for forward linkages through value addition.

Health insurance in India is a growing segment of India's economy. In India there is a lack of awareness regarding tools called health insurance. Unlike other segments, Health Insurance is a more complex business because of serious conflicts arising out of unavailability of data and information gap problems. Proper understanding of Indian Health situation and application of principles of insurance, keeping in view the social realities and national objectives, are important. Hence this study attempts to understand the factors that influence the rural people for availing or not availing health insurance policy. Objectives of the study are a) To study the factors influencing the rural people to avail health insurance policy b) To examine the determinants influencing the rural people not to avail health insurance policy c) To understand the association between demography of respondents (with respect to age, educational qualification and monthly family income) and determinants of availing health insurance policy. Null hypothesis was framed to test the association between demography of respondents (age, educational qualification and monthly family income) and the determinants of availing health insurance policy. Primary data was collected from 150 respondents identified by Stratified Random Sampling technique representing rural area of Thanjavore District using structured questionnaire. The data was processed and analysed using SPSS package Version 11 and various statistical tools like f-test and t-test were used for discussion. The study results revealed that educational qualification, age, and family income are the major factors which influence the rural people to avail health insurance policy; gender and marital status are the major factors which prevents the rural people of the study area to avail health insurance policy; Also there is significant difference between the demography of the respondents and the determinants of availing health insurance.

Job satisfaction is an important factor for employees working in formal and informal sector. The job is small or big, permanent or temporary, risky or non-risky, job satisfaction is important. It is the mental feeling which drives the employees to excel. Job satisfaction is a combination of psychological, physiological and environmental circumstances. A satisfied employee is a contented and happy human being. The labour turnover depends upon job satisfaction. Even highly paid employees quit the job when they are not satisfied with the job. Road transportation in Tamilnadu is growing day by day. Job stress in the road transportation is very high due to increase in number of vehicle playing on the road and heavy traffic. The drivers and conductors working in public transport corporation are suffering from high job stress. If drivers and conductors are not satisfied with their job which leads to mental stresses and affects the productivity and also creates accidents. In this present study the researchers made an attempt to study the level of job satisfaction among the drivers and conductors who are working in the Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC). The study reveals the expectations of drivers and conductors working in TNSTC with regards to the attributes like salary, promotion and fringe benefits etc., are satisfactory and not detrimental.

The toxic effect of Monocrotophos on some biochemical parameters such as Protein and Amino acid in freshwater fish Oreochromis mossambicus were studied. The fishes exposed to 1/10th, 1/20th, and 1/30th sublethal concentration of Monocrotophos for 30 days. The tissue samples of gill, liver were analysed at the end of the 30th day exposure period. A decreased value of Protein and Amino acid were observed in 1/10th, 1/20th, and 1/30th sub lethal concentration of Monocrotophos at the exposure period of 30 days while comparing with the control group. The high variation observed in the 1/10th sublethal level of 30thday exposure. While compare with control group the effects of Monocrotophos on fish found during this experiment showed that the level of protein and amino acid level in various tissues (gill and liver) of Oreochromis mossambicus decreased.

Pollution is now a day has become a threat to living beings. Pollutants in the form of pesticide inhabit a variety of environments which affect the normal vital activities of organisms living. They reach the aquatic environment as a washout from agriculture fields as well as from industrial areas. Pesticide contamination in water may accumulate in the bodies of animals and affect the vital organs which alter the usual activities. Cypermethrin is a synthetic pyrethrum insecticide used in agriculture to control pest in crops such as lettuce and cotton and household pest such as cockroach. To understand the toxic effect of pesticides, it creates a need for histopathological observation of tissues. Present work was carried to evaluate the toxic effect of cypermethrin (25% EC) in liver and gills of tilapia (O.mossambicus). The fish experimented to different sublethal concentration of 1/10th,1/20th and 1/30th level of LC50 (4.5 mg/l) value of cypermethrin for 30 days. Gill exhibited epithelial cell damage, Fusion , Length reduction , Curling and Repturing of secondary gill lamellae, primary gill lamellae Enlargement, Necrosis, Cytoplasmic vacuolization, Damaged red blood corpuscle, Excessive secretion of mucus, whereas liver showed increased vacuolization, Necrosis, Hyperplasia, disintegration of hepatocytes and necrotic nuclei. Aim of the present study is to identify the effect of cypermethrin on organs tissues ( liver, kidney) of freshwater fish, Oreochromis mossambicus. Keywords: Cypermethrin, Oreochromis mossambicus, Gill, Liver
