After achieving success in the attack on the Navy base at Pearl Harbor on December 7h 1941, the Japanese Empire felt that it had still not completed its goal of crippling the strength of the United States Navy in the Pacific region. This was because the United States and its allies were considered to be a serious threat to Japan's ambitions to dominate Greater Asia. This was done as a continuation of Japan's plan to attack the base and its fleet of warships and fighter planes at Athol Midway. This was preceded by strategic efforts and deceptive tactics to create threatening conditions on the Aleutian islands, it was hoped that this would lead the United States to be trapped in the area, and then they would be attacked by the Japanese Navy fleet in full force. However, what happened was just the opposite, the naval battle at Midway on June 4-7th 1942 resulted in huge defeats and losses for the Japanese Empire, where four aircraft carriers, fighter planes, and several warships were sunk, as well as many crew members and pilots. who died. Meanwhile, on the United States side, an aircraft carrier and several warships were sunk and damaged and many soldiers died. The purpose of writing this article is to use the history of the naval battle at Midway as a very valuable lesson in developing war strategy planning, especially in maritime defense strategies, which can be applied by the Indonesian Navy in the present and the future. The research method used is a qualitative method with a literature approach regarding the history of naval battles in general, including the battle at Midway. Meanwhile, the output of this article is addressed to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia as input regarding the importance of a mature strategy in the National Defense Strategy at sea

The Vietnam War against France began with the French colonization of Vietnam for nearly a century. France initially controlled South Vietnam in 1858 and expanded its influence throughout the country after the Sino-French War in 1885. This colonial rule sparked resistance from Vietnamese nationalists. The movement for Vietnamese independence gained momentum after World War II when the French tried to reclaim Vietnam. This research aims to evaluate the strategies employed by Vietnam against French and US colonialism, drawing parallels with Indonesia's fight against Dutch colonialism. Historical research methods are used to collect, analyze, and interpret past data. Various aspects, including ideology, politics, economics, and culture, influenced the relationships between the involved countries during their respective colonial periods and wars. Strengthening guerrilla warfare capabilities can provide tactical advantages for Indonesia's defense, but a balanced defense doctrine that adapts to emerging threats is essential. This approach ensures the maintenance of state security and sovereignty.

The increasingly sophisticated technology of today has brought about a number of developments, notably in the financial industry. Effective financial management is essential for change adaptation. This study attempts to examine the impact that self-control, attitudes, and knowledge have on students' financial management. Two hundred students from the city of Semarang served as the sample for this study. Multiple linear regression analysis approaches are used in data processing with the SPSS program. The findings show that while the attitude variable has no discernible impact on financial management, the knowledge and self-control factors have a positive and significant influence on it. The study's adjusted R square value indicated that knowledge, attitude, and self-control variables accounted for 78.9% of the variation in financial management variables, with other variables outside the scope of the research influencing the remaining 21.1%.

The problem of finite mineral and coal natural resources has been reopened by the growing demand for development and mining resources, which impacts the global arena. Environmental issues are just one of the issues caused by mining activities, which are another. In mining sites, there has to be an ongoing planning process based on the environment. This study addresses the existing mining regulatory framework and the problem of harmonization between spatial plans for mining regions based on environmental sustainability, with a particular emphasis on spatial planning for mining sites in Indonesia. Under the provisions of spatial planning, this article outlines the fundamental concepts of strategic environmental sustainability as a roadmap for sustainable growth in the mining industry. This study concludes that the idea of creating a mining business permit area is predicted to function as a tool for prevention against the emergence of significant environmental pollution and damage due to mining activities with the existence of an integrated concept of environmental licensing and spatial planning. Because this authority can be determined based on the size of "geographical-ecological", "economical", or "administrative" conditions, recommendations made with the existence of legal criteria relating to the determination of mining areas to become the authority of the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning, Governors, and Regents/Mayors will result in the principle of environmental sustainability.

The benchmark in determining the level of success of students in knowing and understanding a lesson is one of them with learning outcomes. Each student has different characteristics and learning spirit. Someone with independence learns more initiative and does not depend on others to solve the problems they face. In this study aims to examine the effect of learning independence on the learning outcomes of mathematics students in Class XI vocational school students. The study was conducted by survey method in one of the private vocational schools in Sleman Regency. This study examines the relationship between student learning independence and student learning outcomes. After testing the hypothesis shows that there is an influence between the independence of student learning on student math learning outcomes. The magnitude of the effect of student independence on student learning outcomes is 74% and 26% influenced by other variables.

The Military Academy, abbreviated as Akmil is the Central Implementing Agency at the Mabesad level in the field of education which is domiciled directly under the Kasad. Based on the organizational structure and duties (Orgas) Akmil consists of Leadership Elements, Leadership Assistant Elements, Service Elements, and Implementing Elements. Currently, Akmil personnel number 2,408 people with details of Officers 685, Non-Commissioned Officers 597, Tamtama 571, and Civil Servants 555 people. To facilitate access in service, Akmil provides official house facilities to each member in the Panca Arga Magelang Housing Complex. The majority of personnel who go to work in Akmil use motorized vehicles, both two-wheeled and four-wheeled. Round-trip activities from the Panca Arga Housing Complex to Akmil using motorized vehicles, of course, are inseparable from the so-called carbon footprint. The research method used is a review literature of several scientific articles related to exhaust emissions. The exhaust emissions in two-wheeled vehicles were 15,686.5 Kg/L, while four-wheeled vehicles were 9,155.8 Kg/L. It is necessary to calculate the emission of CO2 waste gases assuming the fuel used is pertalite and pertamax.

State defense is essentially all universal defense efforts which means involving all citizens, territories, and other national resources, as well as being prepared early by the government and held in a total, integrated, directed, and continuous manner to uphold state sovereignty, territorial integrity and the safety of the entire nation from all threats both from outside and from within. This research aims to diagnostically analyze the potential risks and safety systems in rocket development as a benchmarking and basic foothold in the growth of the weapons technology ecosystem. This research uses a qualitative approach method with a literature study approach. The results obtained are in the form of various potential risks which can provide failures and losses in rocket development. The safety system that is possible to implement by prioritizing the suitability found in Indonesian rocket development, is to review and ensure the stages of preparation, integration and testing (or similar) in rocket development.

The aim of this research was to examine the VO2 Max abilities of Rekita VC Club volleyball athletes in Koto Gasib, Kabupaten Siak. Based on the results of observations made on Rekita VC Club volleyball athletes in Koto Gasib, Kabupaten Siak, it was found that several problems arose, on average the athletes had unstable endurance when playing volleyball. This situation is influenced by a lack of time for physical training and a lack of seriousness when doing physical training and being too focused on having fun matches or sparring partners between clubs. Seeing the progress during their training, some athletes have unstable endurance and are less diligent in carrying out physical training so that the athlete's physical condition is still not perfect. The test used in this research was the bleep test to see VO2 Max abilities . The sample in this study was 11 people. From the results of tests carried out on Rekita VC Club volleyball athletes in Koto Gasib, Kabupaten Siak, results were obtained in the " Good " category.
