Introduction. The article presents the results of many years of research in the field of organizational design of emergency and rescue services (E&RS). The study is a complete solution to the actual scientific and technical problem of substantiating and designing the most important subsystem of the infrastructure of modern cities and territories – the E&RS, which ensures the sustainable and safe life of any city (or territory). The main stages of the research are briefly considered in the article. Based on their results, dozens of publications have been published in different countries of the world. The purpose of the study is to summarize the scientific research that forms the methodological basis of the theory of organization and management of the E&RS of cities and territories. Research methods. Methods of mathematical statistics, probability theory, system analysis, mathematical modelling. Results and its discussion. The article summarizes scientific approaches to the design and organization of urban E&RS based on the use of mathematical and simulation methods. The analytical models presented in the article adequately describe the process of functioning of the E&RS in time, based on the main temporal characteristics of the response of E&RS to a random destructive event (fire, accident, accident, etc.). Simulation modeling technologies make it possible to reproduce the process of E&RS functioning in time and space, taking into account the geographical features of the region and the corresponding laws of the probability distribution of a random variable. An interesting scientific task is to determine the optimal number of basic and special fire trucks in order to ensure the constant readiness of the E&RS to respond to destructive events, which can be solved using the tools of the E&RS organization theory described in the article. Also, the article presents a brief historical overview of the formation and development of the organization theory E&RS. Conclusion. The article presents a complete multi-aspect review of scientific approaches to the design and organization of E&RS and also describes the methodological basis of the theory of E&RS organization. The presented results of multi-year research could be considered as a methodological guidance for assessing the functional parameters of any city E&RS and developing a project for its improved structure. Introduction. One of the most important tasks in achieving reliability and safety of power supply as an element of ensuring technospheric security is the modernization of automated information and control systems for the transmitting and receiving sides, which ensures resistance against known types of attacks. The aim of the study is to solve the problem of secure information exchange within the framework of automated information and control systems, taking into account the low security of technological communication channels of power facilities to achieve the reliability and safety of power supply as an element of ensuring technospheric security based on the development of intelligent methods for detecting dangerous influences and intrusions to neutralize information security threats in relation to commands to control power equipment. Research methods. Within the framework of the study, general scientific and special methods of scientific knowledge were used, including analysis, synthesis, generalization, which were based on the main provisions and patterns of behavior of systems and information theory. Research results. It is proposed to create innovative algorithms for controlling power equipment, built on the basis of libraries of reference commands and reference sequences of commands used to replace commands intentionally or accidentally distorted by erroneous bits, as well as diagnosing vulnerabilities of information and control systems to ensure the correctness of the process of controlling power equipment. Conclusion. The listed technologies will make it possible to create a new class of efficient algorithms for power equipment control, built on the basis of intelligent methods for detecting dangerous influences and intrusions to neutralize information security threats in relation to control commands based on the analysis of high-level behavioral characteristics of the protected information and control system with the function of controlling the transition of the controlled system to the next a condition that depends on the exact correspondence of the generated commands to the reference commands and the reference sequence of commands, which will ensure the correctness of the control process of power equipment. Introduction. The process of operation of fire trucks is investigated. A graph has been constructed that reflects the possible states of the car depending on age. A mathematical description of the possible states of the car is given and the well-known Bellman equation is adapted to describe the function of minimizing the cost of maintaining fire trucks. An algorithm has been developed that describes the conditions for the stay of fire equipment in the category of operation, which ensures the possibility of its use for its intended purpose. Goals and objectives of the study. The goal is to manage the readiness of fire trucks by defining a strategy for their operation and improving the quality of service and repair. To achieve the goal, the tasks were solved to determine the conditions for the stay of a fire truck in the I or II category of operation, a mathematical description of these conditions and an algorithm for the stay of the vehicle in the required category of operation were given. Research methods. In the course of the study, methods of operations research and the method of dynamic programming were used. Results and its discussion. An algorithm has been developed that allows, in the course of long-term planning, to ensure the serviceability of fire trucks and their readiness for use for their intended purpose. Conclusion. The results of the study can be used as practical recommendations for officials of the logistics authorities in the long-term planning of the operation of fire trucks of fire and rescue units in modern conditions. Introduction. Over the past decades, the sphere of wooden house construction has been undergoing revolutionary changes in relation to the development of large-scale construction using wood-based structures. In this regard, one of the first places is the direction associated with ensuring the fire-safe use of such structures in the construction of buildings and structures of various functional purposes. An important sector of this direction is various types and methods of fire protection for wood, materials and structures based on it. The lack of systematic research on these issues hinders the development of effective technical solutions for fire protection of wooden structures. Goals and objectives. Identification of priority areas for research in the field of fire protection of wood, materials and structures based on it. Development of effective flame retardants that can have an impact on reducing fire danger and increasing the fire resistance of wooden structures. Determination of the influence of various flame retardants on the intensity of the process of heating and charring of elements of wooden structures in conditions of fire exposure (fire). Methods. A standard muffle furnace of the SNOL type was used as a test installation with the possibility of one-sided radiation thermal effect on the sample surface and a uniform temperature increase in the furnace up to 1200 С. The muffle furnace was upgraded taking into account the horizontal fixing of the sample on the outer panel of the furnace. To measure the temperature by the thickness of the sample, a set of thermoelectric converters of type K (chromel-kopel) with a junction diameter of 0,8 mm was used. Results and their discussion. Based on the results of theoretical and experimental studies, the main directions of research on the possibility of using various methods and types of fire protection to achieve the required fire hazard characteristics and fire resistance of wooden structures were determined. During the study, the analysis of such characteristics of charring as the rate of charring, the thickness of the charred layer was carried out. Conclusion. The research results show the possibility of certain classes of flame retardants, intumescent and heat-protective materials not only to influence the intensity of the process of charring wood, but also to affect the properties and structure of the charred layer, as well as the intensity of heating of the inner layers of wooden structures.
