This paper outlines the architecture of parallel dataflow computing system and its general parameters, which could be modified to improve the operating efficiency of the system for one or another class of problems. Distribution functions allow to improve operating efficiency of the system due to scalability improvement of the task (paralleling on a greater number of computational cores). Other adaptation methods of the computing system for various tasks are given.

A new effective method for the analysis of converters with heterogeneous three-pole chain structure is discussed, which allows obtaining analytical expressions of conversion functions (Gulin's formula) for arbitrary complexity chain circuits without solving cumbersome equations. We have got formulae for calculating the input (output) immittances and active variables, acting in the structure's arm.

Mobile Applications (Apps) offer numerous advantages related to entertainment, communication, monitoring and sensing to name a few. In this study, a Gyroscope Explorer Apps is employed for data gathering of azimuth, pitch, and roll. The mobile phone is carried by Lego Mindstorms (EV3), in which it travels the ladder into the different angles: 4.13°, 7.77°, 10.81°, and 12.80°. The data collected was classified into eight classes: 4.13°uphill, 4.13°downhill, 7.77° uphill, 7.77° downhill, 10.81° uphill, 10.81°downhill, 12.80° uphill, 12.80° downhill. Artificial Neural Network is used to classify the angels and the orientation of the vehicle-uphill or downhill. A total of 718 data collected and divided into three sets (azimuth, pitch and roll). The number of neurons in the hidden layer is set to 10, yielding a 100% accuracy classification.

Modern VLSI designs experience significant temperature change due to variations in workload and ambient conditions. The change in temperature can cause variation in other performance parameters such as power and reliability. Modern chips use complex self-calibration techniques to adjust design parameters to safeguard the chip's operation against temperature fluctuations. Any on-chip self-calibration system needs a temperature variation detecting to observe the temperature of the chip at the spot of interest. This paper describes a novel approach of on chip temperature variation detecting in submicron CMOS technology for a wide range of temperature variation.

Integrated circuits may employ many clock domains. The presence of multiple clock domains in modern circuits imposes an issue of inaccurate data transfer from one clock domain to another. Mainly, the issue takes a form of metastable state of the nets of the circuit in the receiving clock domain and corrupts appropriate operation of a consequent circuit. This paper presents a research of flip-flops' metastability phenomenon and its timing characteristics for different threshold voltages and process variations. Metastable state is researched by using master-slave flip-flops from SAED32/28 Educational Design Kit (EDK).

Communication channel model based on the real characteristics of the base station equipment with the MIMO technology and subscriber user equipment is presented in the article. The capacity and accuracy of channel estimation, communication are investigated using MatLab package. The communication channel is modeled by N base station antennas and a subscriber unit antenna. The input data for analysis of the spectral efficiency of the communication channel are levels of distortion of base station equipment and a subscriber unit, the number of antennas at the base station, the correlation coefficient between the neighboring antennas, signal/noise ratio, the duration of the pilot signal, the simulation time and the time step and transmit power. Distortions in the receiving and transmitting equipment are recorded for each antenna using the additive noise power, which it is proportional to the signal power in the antenna. It has been shown that the quality of the equipment affects the maximum achievable spectral efficiency of the channel, but by increasing the number of antennas of the base station equipment requirements for the quality of the base station can be reduced, since the influence of distortion in the base station equipment is reduced to zero.

A simple extension to the corner stitching data structure for layouts with arbitrary shapes of layout objects, is proposed. The key difference between the classic corner stitching data structure and all its extensions proposed so far, and the extension presented in this work, is that in our approach the nonempty tiles are containers for object shapes, not the object shapes themselves. This concept leads to simple and efficient algorithms for layout design.

Problem of providing information security of video information resource in aerial surveillance systems and video conferencing is considered. Procedure for creating code by using the structural coding technology is represented. The dependence of the distribution error on column component values from its position in the code during restoration of transform is shown. The method for encoding technology for the structural code formation is proposed. The threat of data integrity reduces also. The method for detecting and eliminating single bit errors for transform's significant component is proposed.
