An Empirical Research on the Effectiveness online and Offline Classes of English Language Learning based on Student’s Perception in Telangana Schools 基于学生感知的泰伦加纳邦学校英语语言学习线上与线下课堂有效性实证研究

Learning practices commenced to shift from face-to-face offline class learning to online classes with technological networks specifically on sudden COVID-19 crises. . This sort of variation in their learning method sparks question about students' perception of the new learning system. The objective of the study was to compare English language learning, between online classes and Offline-classes and it explicates different students' perceptions of such learning practices regarding the benefits, improvements, and drawbacks of online and offline modes. The research approach of study, proceeds with a quantitative study, using statistical analysis through questionnaire distribution. The participants of the study were the school students, obtained from Government and private schools in Telangana. The quality of the study stands outstanding in addressing the effectiveness of blended learning both online and offline learning and aids to study nature of the approach if integration of learning modes including face-to face and online learning incorporated and the consideration to improvise qualities learning experiences of students. With those aspects, the research is significant to prove the preference of students to elucidate that offline classroom learning is more preferable than online English learning. The value of the research is recognised that it aids the educators, leadership authorities and researchers to understand parameters leading to efficient learning practices, enhanced collaborative student performance outcomes assisting to select the appropriate technologies in case of any pandemic crisis and to inhibit collaborative learning in and out of classroom. The most general obstacles faced by students in online English learning are materials insufficiency, lack of communicative skills training, lacking reading activities participation, absence of interaction, the inability of queries or doubts clarification, and exercise exposure are addressed by the analysis outcomes. The comparative perception outcomes explicated that Offline English language learning stands out as more efficient than the online learning method. © 2023, Modern Education and Computer Science Press. Pupils in primary schools faced as much daunting and foreboding experiences in Maths. Maths anxiety and attitude towards Mathematics are psychological indicator of poor Maths problem solving skills. This study investigated the relationship between Maths anxiety, attitude towards Maths and Maths problem-solving skills among primary pupils in Kedah state. A questionnaire was developed based on Math Anxiety Questionnaire Children, Attitudes Towards Problem-Solving Skills and a Mathematical problem-solving test administered to 450 primary school pupils. Data were analysed using IBM Statistics and Smart-PLS version 4 software. Results indicated that Maths anxiety and attitude towards Mathematics had a direct influence on Math problem solving.. This research highlighted Maths anxiety as an important factor on Maths problem solving skills as well as pupils’ attitudes towards Mathematics, and teachers should consider this factor an important construct to consider when examining sources of individual differences in Math problem solving skills.

Hybrid animation is widely used by the creative industry in Malaysia and all around the world. The aim of this research is to study deeply the practice of hybrid animation in Malaysia in order to provide clear and sufficient explanations on the advantages and disadvantages of hybrid animation in classroom. The advancement of related technology causes an evolution in animation films and television series in Malaysia. Technically, the trend has various impacts on animation industry especially in development and quality areas. The commercials and games industry, for examples, also use hybrid animation in order to gain the best quality and to achieve the international standards in animation industry.

THE ROLE OF HUMANITY CULTURAL VALUES TOWARDS STRENGTHENING SOCIAL COHESION AMONG THE COMMUNITY OF STUDENTS OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION 人文文化价值观对加强高校学生群体社会凝聚力的作用

Social Cohesion is an important measurement for the achievement of unity among society in Malaysia, especially unity between ethnic groups. The National Cohesion Index (IPNas) 2018 shows that Social Cohesion has increased to a good level due to the influence of National Ethos and Cross-Ethnic Social Relations. This study aims to explore the direct influence of the Humanity Cultural Value variable on the National Ethos and Cross-Ethnic Social Relations towards strengthening Social Cohesion among Malay and Non-Malay students in public and private higher education institutions. The Humanity Cultural Value variable was developed from Al-Quran sources and operationalized into a universal value that is suitable as a value measurement for all ethnicities. A total of 445 respondents consisting of ethnic Malay, Chinese and Indian students were involved in this study. A snowball sampling technique was used to obtain voluntary student commitment through the student's social media community network. Descriptive statistical analysis was used to describe the demographics of the respondents while PLS-SEM analysis was employed to test the study's hypothesised model. The results of the overall analysis found that the appreciation of the Humanity Cultural Value significantly directly affects the National Ethos and Cross-Ethnic Social Relations as well as strengthening Social Cohesion. The Humanity Cultural Value is found to tend to increase the value of the National Ethos and Cross-Ethnic Social Relations for the Malay Ethnicity while the Humanity Cultural Value is more likely to increase the National Ethos for the Non-Malay Ethnicity. In conclusion, the Humanity Cultural Value is an important initiating factor to be moulded into the student’s community so that efforts to strengthen unity in the multi-ethnic society in the country will be empowered in a more focused manner.
