“Network Administration”-A New MPEI Course for Extramural Studies Using Distant Learning Technologies “网络管理”——运用远程学习技术的MPEI校外学习新课程

The present paper concerns an implementation of a new electronic educational resource named “Network administration” for extramural studies at National Research University “Moscow Power Engineering Institute” using distant learning technologies. This course is designed for remote use by MPEI part-time students and is located at information platform of MPEI. Initially the course is designed for extramural studies, but it can also be used for refresher studies and additional lifelong learning.

Interactive Multimedia Educational Resources for Training of Students of Architectural and Civil Engineering University at Working with Geodetic Equipment 建筑与土木工程专业学生大地测量设备使用训练的交互式多媒体教学资源

Oftentimes, there is a lag in the outcomes of practical training of graduates of universities of architectural and civil engineering from industry requirements. The paper considers the problem of mass development of interactive multimedia educational resources for the initial training of students at working with geodetic equipment. The possible decision is the development of multimedia educational resources modelling work of the equipment and imitating production operations, with high degrees of interactivity. The use of such educational resources can lead to a reduction in the timing of the initial stages of working with engineering equipment and, as a result, to the improving the practical training quality of graduates in engineering education. Involvement of students under the guidance of lecturers of engineering disciplines can partially solve the problem. The method of involvement can be the organization of creative workshops for active students at university chairs and departments.

Comparative Analysis of Multi-Agent Methods for Constrained Global Optimization 约束全局优化的多智能体方法比较分析

This paper considers the application of three metaheuristic methods of constrained global optimization, which use the ideas of evolutionary algorithms and methods of “swarm” intelligence. Two of them are bioinspired, i.e. algorithms that imitate the behavior of certain animal kinds. Based on the described algorithms, software is developed in Microsoft Visual Studio. The program allows to find a constrained global extreme of functions of two variables with a complex structure of the level lines and visualize the step-by-step process of finding solutions, compare the efficiency of the procedures used. Based on the comparative analysis of algorithms, a hybrid multi-agent method was proposed and its effectiveness is searched.

The actual task of the effective digestion of the ensuring nuclear power plants safety issues by the future specialists is considered in the article. The infographics is offered as an effective tool for solving this problem. The concept of infographics and its types is considered. The developed training manual on “Safety of Nuclear Power Plants” course, which uses the infographics for the presentation of educational material, is described.

Automated Laboratory Workshop with a Remote Access for Open Engineering Education 为开放工程教育提供远程访问的自动化实验室工作坊

The article researches the problems of automated laboratory workshop of remote access generation by means of modern information and communication technologies. It shows that the formation and effective use of the single kit of laboratory equipment makes possible the execution of large number of labs in face-to-face, blended and distance education. In accordance with it students need only the Internet connection. The complex is supplemented with a subsystem of remote computer simulation of the objects of study. The example of the practical application of designed laboratory is shown.
