Processing Method of Radiation Pattern in Active Phased Array Antennas Development 有源相控阵天线研制中辐射方向图处理方法

During a course “Development of CPU based on microchips” there is a section about digital signal processing and its algorithms. For a better educational experience it is useful to look not only on theoretical knowledge but to approach a problem from real life tasks, for example in radio-frequency engineering. In the field of antenna design there are techniques for the testing of antennas to ensure that it meets specifications or simply to characterize it. Typical parameters of antennas are gain, beamwidth, efficiency, directivity. To find these parameters it is necessary to measure Radiation Pattern (RP). This paper deals with the problem of analyzing measured sets of RPs when developing new or testing old active Phased Array Antennas (APAA). Analysis done manually, by going through each data set and finding each parameter, which requires good understanding and knowledge of antennas, which is not always a case when APAA is in exploitation. It is preferable to make process automated to remove possibility of human error and to speed up the analysis. For better understanding of a process, examples of RP's graphical representation shown. Given equation dependencies of APAA's parameters from RP's properties. Proposed processing method of array of data from which RP is drawn, to find RP's properties. Given systematic algorithm for each property. Shown results of applying given method of processing data. Given method heavily relies on correctly found lobes. There is a wide variety of methods and algorithms that can be applied to find them. We show an algorithm from the point of limited knowledge of the field (in this case-radio-frequency engineering) and what it is used for. Such overview gives students understanding of a problem and gives them an opportunity to offer their ideas and to then look at them and possible ways hand in hand with theoretical knowledge of the course.

The possibilities of using the projectographic method in the problems of the formation of structures obtained on the basis of polyhedra of general form are considered. For this purpose, a computer program has been developed that makes it possible to obtain visual images of new polyhedral forms. The possibilities of harmonization of the resulting form-forming solutions are considered, and the drawings illustrating the possibilities of the method are given.

Educational Environment for Training Future Engineers for Enterprises of Mining and Metallurgical Complex 矿冶综合体企业培养未来工程师的教育环境

The article describes a new approach to the training of bachelors in the field of “Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering”, future engineers of mining and metallurgical complex, as well as the features of business education, the purpose of which is to teach engineers for a particular enterprise. The deep learning approach in the field of future professional activity is applied. The necessary results can be achieved by using modern information technologies in the educational process, such as 3D-modeling, virtual reality, 3D-simulators, cloud technologies. In combination with educational tasks these technologies form an educational environment that is able to form engineering thinking and prepare graduates for solving urgent production problems without additional adaptation at the enterprise.

The Academic Discipline “Computer Graphics” for the Open Education System 开放教育系统中的“计算机图形学”学科

The article is devoted to the development of the educational discipline “Computer graphics” for the open education system. It is shown that at the present stage the integrated discipline “Computer graphics” can absorb the theoretical material of the discipline “Descriptive Geometry” and the practical area of the discipline “Engineering Graphics”. Geometric modeling is considered It is noted that modern software solutions allow to simulate three-dimensional objects of almost any complexity. The requirement for an electronic geometric model of the detail is singled out: the detail model must be editable-retain its geometric integrity with changes in the values of size constraints, i.e. should be predictably correctly rebuilt when making changes to the values of size dependencies. A strategy for constructing an electronic geometric model of the detail is proposed. It is noted that the allocation of electronic geometric modeling as the foundation of geometric-graphic education provides constructive use of the developing possibilities of computer graphics. The content of the integrated educational discipline “Computer graphics” is described. The integrated educational discipline “Computer graphics” provides the following basic competencies for the students: to know and apply the theory of geometric modeling to create electronic geometric forms of objects of technology and technology and be able to create electronic technical and technological documentation using modern graphic technologies.

Scilab Toolbox for Calculating of Mathieu Functions 计算Mathieu函数的Scilab工具箱

In this paper, we describe the functionality of the software package Mathieu Functions Toolbox, which is an module for the Scilab-free opensource program for mathematical and other calculations. The developed package allows to calculate the angular (periodic) and radial (modified, nonperiodic) Mathieu functions, their characteristic values and the Fourier expansion coefficients for a given order of a function, parameter and argument. The program allows you to search for the roots of the radial Mathieu functions for the Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions and calculate the modes of the vibrating elliptical membrane. The paper describes the functions of the developed package and demonstration programs.

The development of modern energy is impossible without an effective solution of environmental problems and thermal power plants must meet stringent requirements to limit environmental pollution. In this paper, we describe the development of a software package that implements the calculation of pollutant of thermal power plants into the atmosphere with flue gases from boilers and an algorithm for selecting the best available technologies to ensure the required degree of their reduction. The optimization task solution of promoting innovative projects into the regions with using of a complex simulation model and included modules of bacterial optimization is considered below. As the object of research, the process of forming an innovative cluster was chosen. The complex model is implemented in the modeling system “Actor Pilgrim” with the implementation of the common virtual time, spatial and financial dynamics (money, financial instruments). The simulation results are tied to topographic information of different scales.

As the object of research, the process of forming an innovative cluster was chosen. The complex model is implemented in the modeling system “Actor Pilgrim” with the implementation of the common virtual time, spatial and financial dynamics (money, financial instruments). Infocommunication System to Evaluate Research Work of Young People 评价青年科研工作的信息通信系统

The authors present the description of the infocommunication system for the talented youth, its basic features and cyclic results of the implementation. They also offer the abbreviated procedure for the complex evaluation of the youth research works creativity (the case of schoolchildren). The analysis of the structure of the youth activity on the basis of the data obtained as a result of the expert evaluations of projects by two independent reviewers and the remote stage of the youth creative project competition are given. The methodology for the selection of the most gifted youth on the basis of uniqueness and creativity is being discussed (Pareto comparison).
