The topic of this article is the study of student motivation when teaching online, as part of tutoring in preparation for the main state exam (hereinafter – MSE). The author, using the survey method, explores various aspects of the psychological and social state of students preparing for the MSE in social studies, which is currently one of the key subjects for the social and humanitarian profile of education. Such aspects as gender, income and family background, region of residence, students' assessment of their own knowledge are investigated, and the question is raised on whose initiative the survey participants decided to get assistance of the tutor (their own, parents').

The relevance of the article is due to the trends of modern society, in which close attention is paid to the processes of formation of the civic and political identity of young people. The very interest in youth, as a subject of regional history, is associated with a special type of perception of time and progress, which is inherent in a constantly changing post-industrial society. The goal is to consider what tools can be used to enhance the participation of at-risk youth in shaping the public history of their region. Research results. Challenges associated with civic and political engagement among at-risk youth include alienation of youth from their communities and institutions, limitations in opportunities and resources, formal rather than substantive participation, and challenges to involvement in shaping the sociopolitical history of the region. The author clarified the instrumental nature of regional youth policy to enhance the civic and political participation of at-risk youth, which includes youth work, deliberative forums, volunteering, art, sports and media, technology and social networks. The theoretical significance of the article lies in expanding the understanding of the role of civic identity of urban youth in the formation of the socio-political history of the region, as well as the study of socio-political processes in the context of social and political philosophy. The practical significance of the study is that the results obtained can be used to develop specific activities to develop the civic identity of youth at risk.

"Order", "subordination", "power", "repression" are the phenomena with which the concept of "hierarchy" is most often associated. As far as we know, the term "hierarchy" is found for the first time in the Areopagite corpus. After a hermeneutic analysis of the definition of hierarchy in its first usage, a number of some new and not so obvious meanings are revealed: hierarchy is not only an order, but also a knowledge, an action (or energy) and an imitation of God, it is associated with a difference in the nature of things, but at the same time it is dynamic, not static. In the basis of the central role the concept of "Divine action (or energy)" plays in describing hierarchy, we argue that in the Areopagitics can be traced the procedural logic of the Arab-Muslim world, rather than the substantial logic of the Greek-Western European world. An explanation of this paradox is proposed based on the commensurability of the Areopagite and Akbari traditions, which is confirmed by historical data.

The article provides an analysis of the concept of “bureaucracy” from the point of view of its evolution, in the context of processes of decentralization of power. The article represents a theoretical study and sociological understanding of this phenomenon, as well as the processes that determine its development in the post-modern era. The authors analyzed existing theories and approaches to the study of bureaucracy; shows the prerequisites and conditions influencing the change in the appearance of the bureaucracy; the influence of the processes of decentralization of power on the evolution of approaches to its study is analyzed. Identification of the main prerequisites, causes and trends in the evolution of ideas is a necessary methodological basis. This allows us to build theoretical and practical mechanisms for introducing decentralized power practices in modern societies. Based on the analysis, the authors conclude the following: the modern appearance of bureaucracy in theoretical ideas is characterized by the presence of publicity, various platforms for interaction between society and government. It is also necessary to present a mechanism for the co-participation of citizens and other structures of society (local communities, business communities, non-profit organizations) in public administration. Taken together, communication theory and information society theories have led to the current state of bureaucracy theory in the course of its evolution.

In the context of current trends in the political agenda of Russia aimed at strengthening traditional values, supporting large families and birth rate, it seems necessary to analyze the current marital, family and reproductive attitudes of modern youth. Based on a questionnaire survey of students, data were obtained on the attitude of young people to marriage and family, desire and intentions to have children and preferred family models.

The authors turn to a very relevant topic for modern schools: in the context of inclusion, serious challenges arise for the pedagogical community, including for the effective and correct implementation of innovative educational practices, which media education and its capabilities are today. The article presents the results of an applied sociological study aimed at studying the social and professional factors influencing the willingness of teachers of an inclusive environment to use media practices in working with children with disabilities, difficulties encountered along the way and a vision of prospects for overcoming them.

The article examines the main characteristics of the theory of generations in the context of labor relations and employee values, identifies the specifics of approaches in the theory of generations by different authors, both foreign (W. Strauss, N. Howe, etc.) and Russian scientists (Yu.A. Levada, V.V. Radaeva, etc.). The ratio of age and generational characteristics of personality is analyzed in relation to labor relations. The potential and possibilities of the theory of generations are considered taking into account the existing limitations and shortcomings of the explanatory model.

The inclusion of children with autism spectrum disorders in society is an urgent social task that, due to its complexity, requires new perspectives of scientific research for the sound regulation of inclusive processes. The problem of the study was determined by the contradiction between the social significance of the development of inclusion and the risks of including children with ASD in the urban space existing in the Arctic city. We have introduced the category of spatial deprivation of children with autism spectrum disorders into the research field, and proposed its author's interpretation. The empirical study was aimed at identifying the state of inclusion of children with ASD in the space of the Arctic city. The results of the study showed their significant spatial deprivation in the Arctic city. It manifests itself in relation to public, semi-public spaces, spaces for movement, expressed both in their insufficient accessibility and in a significant limitation of forms of development. The conclusion is made about the low social status of children with ASD in the Arctic city, as well as about the presence of obstacles to their realization of their universal needs. This situation is mainly determined by socio-psychological and organizational factors and objectifies the difficulties of developing inclusive processes.

The article raises the question of possible variations of attitude to the future, both in theoretical discourses and in the worldview of the contemporary. The problem of the future (humanity) is put in the context of the problem of crisis of the modern state of society, including the context of the crisis of modern capitalism. The author shows that modern capitalism, which has spread to the whole world, no longer has opportunities for extensive development and for taking its crisis phenomena outside its own system. In this regard, there is a way to solve the internal problems of this system on the principle of bringing them into the future. The article demonstrates two versions of understanding the future: the first one – a return to the past – represents either a retreat backwards in order to free up space/time for a subsequent intensive move forward, or a version of barbarization/archaization/primitivization of the present, conscious or not. The second version of the future’ image, with all its possible tragicism, is the image of the future as a future, another, different, something that has not yet happened. This version requires a new social theory that explains the process and allows to develop an action strategy.
