Increasing hemocompatibility is the main task in the development of ventricular assist devices (VAD). To address this problem, pump speed modulation has been proposed that improves vascular pulsation in patients with continuous flow VAD. The flow dynamics of the Sputnik VAD with a pulsating modulation of the pump speed and its negative impact on the blood were investigated numerically. In this study, flow features were analyzed using Fluent ANSYS 19.0 computational fluid dynamics software. Hemolysis was predicted numerically using a tensor model. Scalar shear stress and hemolysis index were obtained from the Sputnik VAD flow field. The computational model did not demonstrate a deviation from the norm in the hemolysis index when the pump was operating at a modulated speed; therefore, predicting the operation with a pulsating speed modulation can help reduce the negative effect of VAD on blood cells and increase hemocompatibility.

In the famous papers dedicated to the method of the potential fields in mobile robotics is attached to particular significance to the mechanism of the force action for the movement of robot which defines the law of the rate of change of its movement. In the present paper the new methodology of use of the virtual fields is suggested: the force aspect is excluded and the strength lines of the produced field give only desired trajectories of the robot's movement where the movement along the given trajectory is realized by two-contour control system: by the direction and the rate of robot’ movement. The question of the construction of the attracting and repelling potentials is considered. The results of the imitative simulation of the trajectory control by the movement of two-wheeled robot are reduced.

E-learning systems are becoming more widespread in the preparation of students studying in various forms of education, but the vast majority of such systems use a learning model that does not take into account the individual characteristics of students. Students have different levels of training, so typical tasks common to all students will turn out to be too simple for some, and too difficult for others, as a result, in both cases, the educational process will not be as effective as possible. The article presents the results of research in the field of creating methods for developing models of adaptive educational and methodological complexes for advanced e-learning systems.

Cognitive load regulation and management process in the education is becoming one of the central problems in an information-rich learning environment. Many different factors must be taken into account for the effectively analyze human learning processes. The research examines the differences in cognitive tasks solving with the presence of visual uncertainty in an integrated educational environment. The analysis of individual differences allows predicting the cognitive load distribution in the educational process and managing the individual learning process. This method is based on the information-theoretic approach and the computational complexity theory of A.N. Kolmogorov.

This paper presents the development of the Restricted Move language, which makes it possible to form complex structures as a sequence of calls of other contracts and the nesting of calls into each other. Unlike other programming languages where you can access different functions, Move syntax rules prohibit direct calling of users' scripts, which requires additional constructs and services to address this limitation.

This article shows the results of modeling biological treatment processes in a three-zone bioreactor with a membrane module and a recycle. Bioreactor type - denitrification-nitrification-denitrification. The disturbing effect in the system under research is the temperature of the external environment. The results of computer simulation of output concentrations at various temperature conditions are presented. A qualitative and quantitative analysis of the processes under various temperature influences has been carried out. Conclusions are drawn about the effect of temperature on the biological treatment processes in the bioreactor. The simulation results confirm the system's sensitivity to changes in the temperature of the environment.

The article describes global approaches to control of the cantilever calibration device. The idea of the device consists in electromagnetic compensation of the influence of cantilever forces. The development of regulators is based on the simulation of mechanical processes when the cantilever is applied to the load cell with the principle of electromagnetic compensation; the identification of the processes is performed. In addition, in the course of the study, a comparison was made of PID controllers implemented on various actuator systems: an analog circuit, a current source, a dSPACE real-time system, a microcontroller. The purpose of developing and comparing regulators was to improve characteristics of the system: regulation time, overshoot, noise amplitude.

The considered model of the electric submersible pump (ESP) operational resource consumption dynamics has a multifunctional purpose in monitoring of comfortable operating conditions and optimizing of modes, schedule and parameters of well arrangement. Forecasting the dynamics of resource consumption for the well fund serves as the basis for planning the volume of reserves and managing the production processes of repair and maintenance. Factor analysis, in contrast to mathematical modeling, summarizes the operating experience of such systems, determining factor indicators of accelerated mechanical wear and aging of insulation. The proposed work discusses the approach and algorithms for identifying the sensitivity coefficients of the resource model with cumulatively accumulated factors according to the monitoring data of the operation states of submersible equipment for a group of wells during their complete life cycle.
