A novel laminated piezoelectric transducer was mainly composed of the piezoelectric ceramics, metal bolt, rubber gasket, copper electrode, waterproof layer and output cable. The transducer finite-element modeling was built, separately in the air and water, with ANSYS10.0 to calculate the resonance frequency, conductance, transmitting voltage response and directivity. The simulation showed that the laminated structure effectively improved the sensitivity of the piezoelectric transducer. The maximum transmitting voltage respond of the laminated piezoelectric transducer can achieve more than 155 dB, compared with a traditional design by approximately 10%.

Appropriate locations for distribution centers benefit both distribution centers and their clients. Many location models of distribution centers base on the assumption that the companies that the distribution center serves are known. Few literatures touch on the issue that if the right companies have been found as the service objects for the distribution center. This paper believes the better way is to find the right service clients first, and then, build location model based on it. And this paper focuses on the identification of the service clients and other decisions can be made based on the identification result. In order to find the right clients for distribution centers a network which can reflects the transport relationships among companies is created first. Then the companies that should share logistics service are identified through community detection method. The companies belonging to a same community of the network may become the right service clients for a distribution center.

At present, aiming at the flourish development of the domestic plastic industry, and the actuality of the traditional mass production using single cutting method in project. Based on analyzing one-dimensional stock cutting optimizing mathematical model and linear programming technique, this paper puts forward a kind of optimizing tactic to one-dimensional stock arrange scheme which can realizes stock optimizing cutting well. Practice shows it can reduce the original material consume and be propitious to improve economical gain, also cut down the environmental pollution of cutting scrap.

In this presented note, triangular norms are studied in the general setting of bounded partially ordered sets(posets). The sets of idempotent elements, zero divisors and nilpotent elements associated to a t-norm are introduced and related to each other. The Archimedean of t-norms is discussed, in particular its relationship to the diagonal inequality.

This paper describes a methodology to determine a set of optimum nonlinear system parameters for a passive suspension system (PSS) by using the evolutionary algorithms so that the best performance of the system can be achieved. The selected fitness functions are based on the desired performance such as sprung mass acceleration, suspension deflection, and tire deflection. A dynamic step-size operator is incorporated in the evolutionary algorithm for fine-tuning the mutation process. The simulation results show that the proposed method can provide better ride comfort and road holding ability in comparison with the commonly used passive suspension system.

In this study, a robust algorithm with a fuzzy sliding model controller (FSMC) is used to synchronization of a Duffing-Holmes system. The robust algorithm is an output factor of the fuzzy sliding model controller. The control rules of FSMC are based on the Lyapunov stability theorem. The objective of synchronization is to study a master-and-slave system to be synchronized with both uncertainties and disturbances added in the slave system. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In MANETs, the scalability problem has been solved by the clustering mechanism. However, current clustering algorithms consider on the network stability only in terms of some metrics affecting innercluster structure's stability, and neglect some metrics affecting intercluster structure's stability which are more favorable to global stability. To solve this problem, a clustering algorithm is proposed in this paper. It gives a comprehensive measurement on stability metrics of the innercluster structure and the intercluster structure. For a better comprehension of our algorithm, an explanatory example is given. To compare the performance of our algorithm to that of clustering algorithms with clusterheads, we simulate the structural adjusting times and network overheads during the process of the cluster formation and maintenance. The conclusion shows that our algorithm is more favorable to the stability of the global hierarchical structure and reduces network overheads a lot, which improves the global network performance.

Localization of sensor nodes is the foundation of the entire wireless sensor network. The article introduces the localization process of sensor nodes of DV-HOP algorithm. Based on this, it proposes an improved DV-HOP algorithm which based on weighted least square method. The new algorithm introduced a weighted method related with hops to differentiate the anchor node influence, and proposed a new method of determining location of the node. The simulation results show that the proposed improvements can greatly enhance the localization accuracy of the nodes.

LPP (locality preserving projection), as a linear version of manifold learning algorithm, has attracted considerable interests in recent years. For real time applications, the response time is required to be as short as possible. In this paper, a new local image descriptor-LPP-HOG (histograms of oriented gradients) for fast human detection is presented. We employ HOG features extracted from all locations of a grid on the image as candidates of the feature vectors. LPP is applied to these HOG feature vectors to obtain the low dimensional LPP-HOG vectors. The selected LPP-HOG feature vectors are used as an input of linear SVM to classify the given input into pedestrian/non-pedestrian. We also present results showing that using these descriptors in human detection application results in increased accuracy and faster matching.

It is to find answers for two questions: (1) is Web 2.0 technologies appropriate in supporting social learning? And (2) how Web 2.0 supports the process of social learning? Based on the four components of Boisot's SLC, the paper explores characteristics of Web 2.0 technologies and the relationship between social learning and Web 2.0 technologies, which demonstrates that Web 2.0 technologies are able to support social learning. E-learning 2.0 is the application of Web 2.0 in learning, its tenets are creating and delivering personalized, social and lifelong learning through web platforms utilizing Web 2.0 principles and technologies. Therefore, it analyzes blog and wiki resources for e-learning 2.0, ChinesePod, and collaboration systems to demonstrate how Web 2.0 technologies are shaping social learning.
