Modeling, analysis and mitigation of load neutral point voltage for Three-phase four-leg inverter 三相四腿逆变器负载中性点电压的建模、分析与缓解

The Three-phase four-leg inverter is very suitable to be used in the high power UPS, and the load neutral point voltage should be low to meet the requirement of the UPS. In this paper, the load neutral point voltage is modeled. Two factors influencing the load neutral point voltage are revealed, which are the switching states and the ratio of neutral inductance to phase inductance. Then, the load neutral voltage is analyzed. Sixteen switching states can be grouped into four classes, and each class is with the same load neutral point voltage. Switching states of the first and the second class come to the minimum valve of zero with the special ratio of k. Thirdly, three methods to mitigate the load neutral point voltage are proposed, and the benefit and the limitation of each method are analyzed. Finally, the proposed methods are verified by simulation and experiment.

Study on the novel main circuit topology of stepping motor drive 步进电机驱动新型主电路拓扑的研究

In this paper, a new type of stepping motor-drive main circuit topology has been research. The characteristic of main circuit with traditional stepping motor driver of the difference between the novel main circuit topology was research. The control strategy of the four phase mixed stepping motor was analyzed based on the topology, and given the used of digital signal processor of the stepping motor digital control system. Simulation and experimental results show that the main circuit topology can accelerate the winding current response performance of four phase mixed stepping motor, effectively improve high speed stepping motor operating characteristics.
本文研究了一种新型步进电机驱动主电路拓扑结构。研究了新型步进电机驱动主电路的特点与传统步进电机驱动主电路拓扑结构的区别。基于拓扑分析了四相混合式步进电机的控制策略,给出了步进电机数字控制系统中数字信号处理器的使用方法。仿真和实验结果表明,主电路拓扑结构可以加快四相混合式步进电机绕组电流响应性能,有效改善高速步进电机的工作特性。

Simulation and experiment analysis of dynamic process for an EVT based on dual mechanical port electric machine 基于双机械口电机的EVT动态过程仿真与实验分析

A dual mechanical port electric machine (DMPM) is used as an electrical variable transmission (EVT) in hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), as presented in [1]. In this paper, the EVT system simulation model including the models of DMPM, internal combustion engine (ICE) and controller, is built. Base on this model, the dynamic process of the system such as the ICE's startup and stop, are analyzed. Simulation results show that there is an impact torque acting on the outer motor of DMPM at the moment of ICE's startup or stop, which should be avoided by the mechanical decoupling control and control method of ICE's startup. The experiment test rig is built, the method of mechanical decoupling control and the control method of ICE's startup is implemented during the experiment. The experiment results validate the theoretical analysis and simulation results.

Real-time algorithm research and realization of Optimal Unsymmetrical PWM method 最优不对称PWM方法的实时算法研究与实现

As the work frequency is very low, the Optimal Unsymmetrical PWM Method is suitable to be applied in high-power situation requiring control of fundamental and harmonics simultaneously, which will reduce the switch loss and the EMI greatly. Because of the low work frequency, the optimal unsymmetrical PWM method requires optimizing each independent switch angle in order to achieve good control effect, and it needs to solve the nonlinear equations on-line inevitably to obtain the switch angle. A new algorithm by combining the predominance of the Newton and homotopy algorithms is proposed, which can effectively realize switch angle on-line computation with relative high convergence rate. At last, this paper validated the real-time performance and the effectiveness of the switch angle algorithms on the experimental platform with the control core of TMS320F2812.

A new buck-boost dc/dc converter of high efficiency by soft switching technique 基于软开关技术的新型高效降压dc/dc变换器

In this paper, we study on a new buck-boost dc/dc converter of high efficiency by soft switching technique. The switching devices in the proposed converter are operated by soft switching with a new partial resonant circuit. The partial resonant circuit is designed to replacement of an energy storage inductor and a snubber circuit used in a conventional buck-boost converter, and then the configuration of the proposed converter is simplified. The switching control technique of the converter is also simplified for the switches to drive in a constant switching frequency. The results are that the switching power loss is very low and system efficiency is high. In addition, the output voltage of the converter is regulated by PWM control technique, and the discontinuous current flowing into the resonant inductor of the converter makes to simplify control method and control components. In comparison with the conventional buck-boost dc/dc converter, some simulation results on computer and experimental results are confirmed the validity of analytical results of the proposed converter.

The EAST superconducting tokamak is an advanced steady state experimental device being built at ASIPP in China from 2000 to around 2006. The paper gives a description for the power supply (PS) of poloidal field (PF) in EAST. Design and test results for the thyristor switch network are emphasized with transient analyses.

Unified power electronic load for burn-in test 统一的电力电子负载进行烧毁试验

By defining power electronic load cell (PEL cell) and adopting different control strategies, the application of power electronic load for both AC and DC source is presented in this paper. A unified power electronic load is proposed which is composed of three basic PEL cells. Improved repetitive control is proposed to improve the dynamic performance of the system. Theoretical analysis and simulation results verify the validity of this unified power electronic load.

A modified direct torque control of surface permanent magnet synchronous motor drives without a speed sensor 一种改进的无速度传感器的表面永磁同步电机直接转矩控制

A modified speed sensorless direct torque control (DTC) scheme for surface permanent magnet synchronous machine (SPM) is investigated in this paper, which features in very low flux and torque ripple and almost fixed switching frequency. Instead of the switching table and hysteresis controllers in the basic DTC, a reference flux vector calculator (RFVC) is used to determine the reference stator flux linkage vector. The reference flux vector is produced according to the amplitude of the reference and estimated stator flux linkages, the position of the estimated stator flux linkage, the amplitude of the reference and estimated torques and the estimated rotor speed. Then the voltage vectors applied on the machine is calculated to compensate the flux and torque errors exactly, so the flux and torque are controlled in the deadbeat fashion. A speed estimation method is also introduced in this paper, in which the rotor flux linkage is calculated from the stator flux linkage and the stator current. Then the rotor speed is calculated from the rotor flux linkage. Simulation results show that the flux and torque ripples are greatly reduced when compared with those of the basic DTC. With the new scheme, the quick dynamic torque response of the basic DTC is still retained. Fixed switching frequency at different operating conditions becomes possible by means of space vector modulation.

Research on Boost converter based on nonlinear control strategy 基于非线性控制策略的升压变换器研究

The traditional procedure for analyzing switching converters is based on linearized smooth averaged (small-signal) models and the performance is limited because of the inaccurate model. In this paper, the feedback linearization techniques are proposed to design stabilizing robust controllers for PWM DC-DC converters. Simulation and experimental results validate the analytical predictions.
传统的开关变换器分析方法是基于线性化平滑平均(小信号)模型,由于模型不准确,影响了分析的性能。本文提出了反馈线性化技术用于PWM DC-DC变换器的稳定鲁棒控制器设计。仿真和实验结果验证了分析预测的正确性。

Precision linearization control of inner permanent magnet synchronous motor for electrical vehicle drive system 电动汽车驱动系统内嵌式永磁同步电机的精确线性化控制

Precision linearization control of IPMSM system is realized with nonlinear state feedback and coordinates transformation. The IPMSM is decomposed into two linear subsystems, d-axis flux subsystem and rotation speed subsystem. Simulation results show that IPMSM control system based on the design of input and output decoupling and linearization achieves high dynamic performance than the ordinary field oriented control (FOC).
利用非线性状态反馈和坐标变换实现了永磁同步电机系统的精确线性化控制。IPMSM被分解为两个线性子系统:d轴磁通子系统和转速子系统。仿真结果表明,基于输入输出解耦和线性化设计的IPMSM控制系统比普通的场定向控制(FOC)具有更高的动态性能。
