A planar inductive displacement sensor is implemented in a foot of humanoid robot. The sensor, which is composed of two sensor elements, is used to measure normal and tangential component of reaction force onto robot foot. The goal of this paper is to determine absolute error of acting point of contact force detection. The error is caused due to sensor element error introduced by assembling uncertainties and measuring nonlinearities of the sensor elements used for indirect measuring of the normal component of the force.

Molecular beam epitaxially grown fullerene layers are investigated with the help of image processing. The layered structures are studied in morphological respect. The individual layer morphologies are derived from the atomic force microscopy picture of the surface. The pattern morphology of the certain layers is analysed by box counting method. The surface morphology shows fractal behaviour. The pattern of each layer shows different dimension. The actual dimension depends on the actual distance of the layer from the substrate. The change of the dimension is attributed to the change of the binding behaviour. The topology of the surface is also studied using participation ratio and structural entropy calculations.

The work presents a web-based control solution which can be effectively used with the electro-energy systems. The work gives a brief overview of the already known solutions in energy management systems and it proposes a new type of solution. The proposed solution enables remote management and monitoring of energy systems. The user interface of the remote management uses a web-based technology. One server side application provides the connection between the Web and the PLCs. In the proposed architecture the inputs and outputs of the PLCs are connected to the managed devices. The system allows for alternative realization of the control as well. Furthermore, it is important that it is possible to state a feedback of devices, even if it is not altered by the present management system. During the development of the system the aspect such as convenience has been taken into consideration, but a great emphasis was put on energy savings as well. Based on the experience the knowledge base has been set up. During the monitoring of the system, an expert module minimizes the total energy consumption, so that the system's functionality remains.

In this paper a mathematical model of optimal agricultural production plan is derived and applied on a small farm which is located in west Vojvodina. In order to construct a more realistic model of optimal crop distribution and deal with crop rotation and uncertainty, the modified Mean - Variance model is used.

When walking in an unstructured environment, human is realizing various trajectories, often arising due to an instantaneous situation that could not be predicted in advance. This imposes the requirement for on-line trajectory planning and constant changing of gait parameters (turning, stopping, acceleration and deceleration, switching from the walk on a flat to the walk on an inclined surface or staircases, etc.). In view of the prospect that humanoid robots of the future will share with humans living and working space it will be normally expected from them to possess similar walking capabilities. This work aims to demonstrate the possibility of on-line generation of complex motion as a combination of simple motions at particular joints, called primitives. Each primitive has its parameters and constraints that are determined on the basis of similar man's motions. The set of all primitives represents the base from which primitives are selected and combined for the purpose of performing the corresponding complex movement. The proof that a correct selection of primitives is made and that the movement is the appropriate one is obtained on the basis of the maintainance of dynamic balance, which is realized by monitoring the ZMP position, as well as based on the pattern of the very movement.

The authors consider microeconomic aspects of the state regulation of tax policies and subventions. The analysis includes the consideration of basic goals of the state intervention as providing budgetary revenues, influences on microeconomic situations, preference or non-preference of some market participant or social groups. The main point of consideration is on the analysis of impacts of instruments of the state intervention on the behavior and position of companies, market functioning and market equilibrium.

Complex data can often be represented in terms of random graphs or networks. Important features of real world networks can be described by a special class of random graphs called small-world networks. Small-world networks emerge in many contexts, from systems biology to distributed technological systems. Here we ask how the functional and structural properties of specialized real world networks are reflected in convergence-divergence properties of their edges and nodes. We introduced a novel metric called edge convergence degree and studied it on small-world networks generated according to different rules. The obtained results were compared with Erdős-Rényi random networks. We found that convergence degree sensitively distinguishes different models of random networks we studied.

Modern organizations and companies exist in time of progressiveness in almost all segments of life and work influenced by large, rapid and dynamic changes. In such conditions, business world is enforced to adapt to these changes. Character of resulting changes is such that leads to question the existing social theories, especially in the macroeconomic field. Project management is a new and specialized management discipline. The main goal of project management is an efficient project realization within the planned time and planned costs in the conditions of significant external and internal changes. In this paper we developed a fuzzy reasoning approach for a Postal company restructuring project management. We combined Fuzzy PERT method with Fuzzy Delphi for activity time forecasting and finding the critical path. This approach has been applied on a project of Serbian postal company restructuring and obtained results appeared as very consistent.
