The accumulation of в-emitting radionuclides during irradiation of a liquid target of the Cyclone 18/9 HC commercial cyclotron and the production of radiopharmaceuticals (RP) based on 18F was studied by liquid scintillation spectroscopy. It is shown that with prolonged use of the target in the в-spectra of regenerated water [18O] H2O and ready-made RP [18F] NaF, in addition to the maximum due to tritium, a number of maxima appear in both the low-and high-energy parts of the spectrum. Storage for 3 months leads to a significant transformation of the spectra - the intensity of the low-energy wing of the regenerated water spectrum decreases sharply, the maximum in the 300 channel region disappears, while the intensity of the high-energy wing decreases not so dramatically. It was found that the tritium content in the regenerated water can be reliably estimated only after storage for 3 months.

Modified nucleoside 8-bromoadenosine possessing high reactive capacity may serve as a basic compound for the synthesis of a large number of purine antimetabolites showing potentially therapeutic activities toward several tumor and viral diseases. In this study, 8-bromoadenosine was produced by a simple eco-friendly procedure following the treatment of nucleoside precursor adenosine with aqueous bromine solution. In the course of enzymatic transphosphatidylation reaction, the first synthesis of phospholipid derivative of the above-mentioned nucleoside -5‘-(1,2-dimyristoyl phosphatidyl)-8-bromoadenosine was accomplished. Novel compounds may presumably act as non-toxic progenitors of bioactive antimetabolites to be used in drug formulas.

The problem of negative environmental impacts of various types on the environment of built-up territories from the operation of capital construction and urban facilities is currently especially urgent. To solve this problem, at the first stage of the study, a study was made of existing scientific approaches to assessing the state of the environment and the choice of a scientific basis for subsequent studies. Improving the existing scientific base in order to minimize the shortcomings of the available approaches can reduce the risk for society from the increase in anthropogenic pressure on the environment and bring closer the achievement of the global goal in the field of sustainable development of urban areas.

Predicting solar flares is an important task in solar physics. The occurrence of solar flares is highly dependent on the structure and topology of the Sun’s magnetic fields. Disturbances caused by solar flares affect the operation of ground-based communications, navigation, warning systems, disrupt the functioning of on-board electronic equipment on space objects and aircrafts. In connection with these factors, there is an issue of predicting this phenomenon. This work investigates the process of occurrence of solar flares, the development of methods for predicting them and the difficulties that arise in this case. Also it presents one of the most common methods of solar flares.

For decades, cardiovascular diseases have been the leading cause of disability and death worldwide. Among athletes, the risk of cardiovascular disease increases significantly due to extreme physical exertion. Genotyping of the DNA samples of athletes and the control group based on the selected candidate genes for the pathology of the cardiovascular system was carried out. Carriers of unfavorable genotypes that significantly increase the risk of thrombosis were identified in the formed groups: dangerous mutations of blood clotting factors II and V were detected in 3.2 % of gymnasts and 17.1% of representatives of fire and rescue sports.

The main regularities of the territorial distribution and composition of hydromineral resources of the Republic of Belarus are considered. An environmental and geographical assessment of the resources and prospects for the use of sapropels in the country was carried out. It has been established that Belarus independently meets its needs in providing health resort facilities of the country with medicinal brines, as well as sapropel and peat mud, which makes it possible to strengthen the medical and health-improving base of health facilities in Belarus, and to develop the tourist business in the country.
