The work is devoted to the study of the solid waste enzymatic destruction process from fruit and vegetable canning enterprises for the introduction of an improved technology for their utilization and the creation of an optimally balanced feed additive. Enzymatic destruction of cellulose in the waste composition by cellulase under the microorganisms influence is the basis of the biotechnological process. The main characteristics of the enzymatic destruction process have been determined and data have been obtained for improving the technology of solid waste utilization from enterprises of the canning industry. Comparative analysis of bioconversion of the waste various types proves that enzymatic destruction by cellulase is effective specifically for the fruit and vegetable pomace in the waste composition, allows you to obtain a valuable feed additive from them and reduce the stress level on the environment.

The S1 protein of SARS-CoV-2 (hereinafter referred to as the S1 protein) is probably the main factor in the pathogenesis of COVID-19. In our opinion, the elimination or decrease in the concentration of this protein will reduce the inflammatory process and, accordingly, damage to organs and tissues by the activated immune system. An analysis of the complexes of the Angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) and the S1 protein (ACE2-S1) will determine the oligopeptides that are ligands for binding the S1 protein, the timely removal of which from the blood of patients with COVID-19 will prevent the development of severe multi-organ complications. Besides, the immobilized oligopeptide that binds the S1 protein will be able to remove from the body viral particles located in the extracellular space [1].

The monitoring results of the helminth fauna of small rodents living on meliorative channel banks in the mixed forests of Western Belarusian Polesie (Brest Polesie) in 2015-2016 are presented. One hundred and seventeen specimens of three rodent species are caught. 72.3 % of red-backed voles and 60.0 % of yellow-necked mice are found infected by helminths. Seventeen helminth species (2 species of trematodes, 7 species of cestodes, 8 species of nematodes) are found. Twelve species of helminths are localized in red-backed voles, and nine species of helminths in yellow-necked mice. The nematode Heligmosomum mixtum Schulz, 1954 dominates in the infestation of red-backed voles, while the cestode Skrjabinotaenia lobata (Baer, 1925) and the nematode Syphacia frederici Roman, 1945 dominates in the infestation of yellow-necked mice. Four species of helminths identified in rodents are of medical and veterinary significance.

To effectively conserve the gene pool of protected plants ex situ, a wide range of methods and approaches is used, each of which has its own advantages and disadvantages. To date, considerable experience has been gained in the preservation of plant genetic resources, which are important mainly for the agricultural sector, using different temperature regimes; gene banks have been created all over the world. Unfortunately, cryopreservation of seeds and various other plant material is successfully used mainly for agricultural crops, and experiments to preserve the gene pool of rare and endangered plant species are not so widespread. It is necessary to investigate the possibility of sustainable reproduction of the gene pool of certain rare and endangered species. The use of microclonal reproduction of protected plants is an additional way to preserve their gene pool and a prerequisite for the repаtriation of species that are disappearing in nature. The development of effective methods of microclonal reproduction is the basis of work on the creation of in vitro genetic banks of rare and endangered plant species, as well as one of the promising directions for the conservation of biodiversity in general.

Nucleoside derivatives with broken sugar moiety like dialdehydes or trioles have unusual structures and are called seco-nucleosides. They have different types of biological activity which till this time have not been studied enough. It is a result of the high reactivity of aldehydes and hydroxyl groups and the unusual structure of compounds. This article presents two approaches for the synthesis of trihydroxy-inosine from inosine. It was shown that the method for oxidation of diol groups of ribonucleosides using the ion exchange resin in IO4-former has preferences to the method which used NaIO4 as a reagent.
