This paper researched an all new designed multi-link and variable compression ratio single cylinder engine. Compare the kinematics function with the new design with the prototype 250 engine and the traditional multi-link and variable compression ratio mechanism by using the virtual simulation software MSC-Adams. The contrast result suggested that the new design had higher combustion efficiency and charging efficiency than the prototype engine, however, because of the molar increase with the multi-link design, the balance of the new engine became worse. Compared with the traditional multi-link and variable compression ratio mechanism, the new engine had compact styling and lower designed costs. And the new engine could adjust the compression ratio more widely and had the better kinematics than the traditional VCR design.

QoS sensitive applications have become increasingly popular. This paper presents end-to-end QoS control techniques to improve the network usage factor and the destination buffer utilization of the application. The data scheduling process of the QoS sensitive applications has been described. An analytical modeling of QoS performance has been put forward. End-to-end QoS evaluation metrics have been deduced, and a dynamic threshold-based packet scheduling scheme has been proposed. Simulation experiment has been performed and the results show that the proposed algorithm improves the end-to-end QoS performance of the QoS sensitive applications.

A new model of digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) system based on digital channelized receiver and transmitter is proposed. It uses channelized receiver to achieve broad instantaneous frequency coverage and slow down the data rate to realize complicated amplitude and frequency modulation, and employs channelized transmitter to fulfill simultaneous transmitting of multichannel signals. The theories of digital channelized receiver and transmitter are stated and the realization structures are derived respectively, then a new DRFM architecture is introduced. The related simulation results verify the correctness and feasibility of the theories and methods involved in this paper. The requirement of calculation capacity for DRFM system is reduced significantly due to optimization of this system, so the proposed DRFM system can be applied in radar countermeasure system.

SIFT (Scale-invariant feature detection) feature has been applied on image registration. However, how to achieve an ideal matching result and reduce the matching time are the most important steps that we study in our work. The original SIFT algorithm is famous for its abundant feature points, but the final keypoints are so excessive that the matching speed is very slow at the next step of searching for homonymy point-pairs. In this paper, we analyze the performance of SIFT and conquer its deficiencies applying RANSAC arithmetic and Least Squares Method in order to reach a perfect robustness and precision. Experiments with real-world scenes demonstrate that the method can reach a better precision and robustness, which outperforms previously proposed schemes. Compared with conventional localization algorithm, this method makes the precision more stable, which reaches 0.01 pixel, and also reduce the time of image registration.

Based on the analysis of the causes and characteristics of GPS cycle slip, an adaptive detection and modification algorithm is proposed using the wavelet threshold de-noising theory. The original double difference of GPS carrier-phase is transformed with wavelet, and the singular values in the high-frequency coefficients are replaced by linear interpolation. Then the signal is reconstructed with the replaced high-frequency coefficients and the original low-frequency parts. The difference between the reconstructed signal and the original one is applied for cycle slip detection. The time and correction value of cycle slip are determined by the modulus maxima of the difference signal. Finally, an experiment was taken to test the method, and it shows that the method is effective for detecting and modifying the cycle slips of minimum value of one cycle, with minimum interval of one epoch.

This paper studies the calculation of acoustic pressure for self-focusing spherical ultrasonic transducer. By way of physical acoustics method, the integral expression of acoustic pressure for self-focusing spherical ultrasonic transducer is deduced in the combined coordinate system which contains spherical coordinate system and cylindrical coordinate system, and then the integral expression is simulated through numerical analysis method. At last, experiments are conducted to verify the correctness of the theoretical simulation, and the experimental data accord with the theoretical simulation, which lay the foundation for correct estimation of the acoustic field as well as temperature field distribution and establishment of the proper tissue heat transfer model.

Idle stop-start system is a new energy-saving product, which can obtain a good fuel economy and reduce emissions for the city bus. The work principle and mechanical structure are analyzed in this paper. The key technologies of idle-stop-start system are analyzed based on this. Then the idle-stop-start system is modeled and analysised based on AVL Cruise. Last, the fuel economy is simulated and analysised under the Chinese typical cycle run, the merit of idle-stop-start system is proved.

This paper introduces a speedup method for the optimal route calculation on large size road networks by preprocessing and pre-computing. A hierarchical network structure is constructed by separating a large network into several subnetworks. The boundary nodes partitioned the original network are new nodes in the higher level network. The new road sections on the multilevel network are decided by pre-computing the shortest path between the boundary nodes of each sub-network. A clustering method based on genetic algorithm is proposed. By the proposed method, the number of boundary nodes and road sections between boundary nodes of each sub-network can be reduced greatly. Then, the computational time for route calculation on this hierarchical network can be deceased sharply. Experimental results show that the efficiency of the proposed method.

A design of laser carrier transmitter schemes using the combined polarization modulation, PPM and WSK as the modulating method is presented, which permits to obtain a well balance between channel capacity and photon efficiency. A good capability improvement is achieved by employing the circle polarized laser beam. Preliminary results involving combined modulation schemes are introduced and the modulation parameters are confirmed by experiment. An electronics design on laser carrier communication transmitter is also proposed at full length.
