Magnetic tracker is used to track the position of an object. However, Magnetic trackers are susceptible to distortions caused by ferromagnetic objects around magnetic trackers or objects that produce a magnetic field. To eliminate distortion, it is not possible. Therefore it is necessary to calibrate the magnetic tracker adjusted to the condition of the room. Consequently we created a measurable calibration space used to map the position of the magnetic tracker. Magnetic tracker mapping using polynomial fitting method. Total data mapped as many as 4195 data. By polynomial fitting method, the lowest error is in 5th order polynomial fitting with error on axis x = 0,0189cm, y = 0.03 axis, and z = 0.0309cm axis. The total error calculated at 5th order is 0.047 cm with the total deviation standard reaching 0.02774 cm

Currently, Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) is considered as an alternative device to generate electrical power. In this study, the doctor blade deposition method is applied to make Titanium dioxide (TiO2) layer on a glass substrate consisting of Transparent Conductive Oxide (TCO). Meanwhile, organic dye material is coated on the TiO2 particles by using ultrasonic atomizer deposition method. The TCO attached by TiO2 layer coated with organic dyes, electrolytes, and carbon based counter electrode are arranged and characterized. The experimental result shows that the DSSC with organic dye of Syzygium Oleana leaf provides higher current and voltage characteristic. The effective absorption of light in DSSC with the organic dye is in blue light.

Monitoring moisture level of land in a large-scale plantation is tedious. The main objective of this project is to use a robotic kit in collaboration with the on-field moisture sensor circuits, thereby creating an efficient and economical moisture monitoring system. A large agriculture field is divided into smaller grids. Each grid is placed with a moisture sensor. Whenever a sensor reports the soil to be dry, the robot goes to the concerned field for inspection. The path to the concerned field is found by applying Dijkstra's shortest path algorithm on the aerial image of the field. Then the total moisture content of the field is calculated by the robot using suitable image processing algorithms and reported accordingly. For developing and testing this work, a small study field was set up above which a camera was mounted at an appropriate height to capture its aerial view. Thus a prototype for an automated system of monitoring agricultural fields' moisture has been developed through this work.

This paper proposed an alternative approach to obtain the setting of overcurrent relay (OCR) that commonly used in the electrical protection system. Unlike the existing research, this method will consider a real electrical system as a study basis. In a real system, bus or feeder voltage level sometimes is different due to the equipment needs. This voltage level is bridged by a transformer that could be an insulation in the protection scheme. The insulation scheme allows the OCR to be reset to the minimum delay time that makes it unable to solve in parallel computation. Consequently, this method offers a serial computation and work together with the modified particle swarm optimization (MPSO) with the intention to have the easiest way to set the OCR in a real system.

Constructing ladder diagrams for very complicated processes such as handling, assembly, welding, loading, unloading, sealing and painting may be possible with heuristic methods, but the success of the heuristic method depends greatly on the experience of the progrmmer. It will be easier to construct the ladder diagram if there is a clear method of steps in constructing the ladder diagram. Especially for newly learning PLC programming language using Ladder diagram. This paper will discuss the application of the Huffman method to construct a ladder diagram that is implemented in Plant Dual Conveyor. Conveyors are often used in manufacturing industry especially for assembly process. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) acts as conveyor controller with programming language ladder diagram. Ladder diagrams will arrange orders gradually or sequentially. Huffman method is known as a method that aims to minimize the use of relays but the more complex problems handled the more complicated the process. However, by dividing the system into several sub systems then the system can be solved by this method but the goal of minimizing the use of relays becomes less. By using Huffman method, the result from construction of ladder diagram is obtained by 16 rung, 16 timer, 10 relay, and the program capacity is 3 KB.

Electrical energy is a fundamental requirement for a modern society to operate the various electrical equipment used. So that the service providers must always maintain the quality of service, one measure is to maintain the harmonic content in the system to comply with the standards set. Various kinds of electrical appliances are use energy-saving features that cause high harmonic values that can cause damage to the transformer. This study identifies the harmonic value of various types of load combinations. To obtain the load harmonics data, surveys and measurements have been carried out on household consumers served by a distribution transformer. To detect the type of electrical load based on harmonics, semi-supervised learning method is used with generative model algorithm. Method optimization is performed to produce better results from previous studies. This method yields an average of 83.5% accuracy with various experimental scenarios.

One of the performance indicators at PT PLN (Persero) is the Average Cost (AC) of Generation. In 2017 AC was targeted at Rp. 850 / kWh, but not achieved because of higher variable costs due to less of hydro power plant production, the generator's Capacity Factor (CF) exceeds the Availability Factor per Monthly (AFpm) or above the limit of Take or Pay (TOP), as well as increase of fuel prices. The monthly Power Transaction Report showed that there was the incentive costs since the production of Independent Power Producers (IPP) exceeding AFpm which causing additional costs on component A (investment cost) and B (fixed maintenance cost). Data collection of IPPs' CF, annual AF and TOP figure was compared with FTP 1 (Fast Track Program 10,000 MW) Power Plants and was gathered through a web-based IPP production monitoring application. With this application, the CF achievement report against AFpm is faster and easier to obtain. The data will be used for further adjustment required in ROH (Daily Operation Plan) and in Real-time operation. This paper will describe AFpm monitoring application from the design, business process and implementation results. (Abstract)

The use of Jammers to restrict mobile phone usage has always been a very common application. Jammers work by blocking all communication signals in the target area. A major drawback of this approach is that a person can't be accessed even in an emergency. Furthermore, our present-day jammers have no control over other nuisance activities like loudspeakers usage in mobiles. Our proposed system overcomes both of these limitations. The core idea of the system is to incorporate an additional circuit within the mobile phone that contains a receiver exclusively meant for receiving signals to lock mobile phone's keypad and loudspeakers. In zones requiring silence, a transmitter circuit is placed for sending locking signals. The receiver within the mobile receives the locking signal, which upon successful decoding locks the keypad and loudspeaker. The applications of this idea are numerous, one of which discussed in the paper is to restrict mobile phone usage within an automobile only when the vehicle is on the move while at the same time ensuring that the driver's accessibility is not compromised. This idea has been implemented only in a basic Celkon mobile since a basic mobile provided a simplistic setting to test the feasibility of the idea faster. Extension to a smartphone can be easily achieved using the same approach.
