A grid tie inverter (GTI) requires a proper adjustment of Power Factor (PF) to provide efficient power supply to the utility power grid while converting the DC power to an adjustable grid based AC power. Additionally, the inverter has to be designed based on a minimal total harmonic distortion that occurs on the utility power grid voltage and current while such conversion occurs. Presented herein is a power and control system architecture of a 500 W inverter for achieving a better power factor (PF) and which can efficiently diminish the harmonic content out of the utility power grid. Implementing an inverter that consists of a full-bridge switching configuration, the single stage of DC-to-AC power conversion is inventively designed hereby to attain maximum power factor as well to generate a minimum THD containing sinusoidal output voltage that is adjustable with the grid, is the novel feature of this paper.

Since robot-assisted surgical systems incorporate many of the advantages of minimally invasive surgery, such as decreased postoperative trauma, faster recoveries, and lower overall treatment costs, they are increasingly being used in medical procedures. Using these robotic systems, surgeons can work in areas where traditional surgical tools would be impractical, such as tiny; tight the capabilities of a human hand as an operator are typically somewhat restricted. The act of movement itself helps to improve this sort of dexterity. Robotic scaling, which converts the operator's massive motions into the tiny actions of the robotic end effector. For instance, the Da Vinci System's EndoWrist end effector tool. These systems' drawbacks include the expensive cost of surgery, the lack of feedback, and the surgeon's operating mobility. The surgeon isn't inside the patient during these surgeries. Human tissue won't resist cutting. Thus, one can damage healthy tissues or break a thread by sewing too hard. A new system was developed in this study using ustepper (an industrial palletizer robot), EndoWrist needle and a CNC milling machine. Industrial robotics were merged with the medical robotics to bring more benefits. The developed surgical robot has more movement options for the surgeons to operate in the human body. Cambridge Medical Robot (CMR) and DLR Surgical Robot System's characteristics were studied and merged together into this design. Industrial and medical robotics have collaborated to create this particular design.

M2M refers to the use of sensors and intelligence to connect physical assets such as physical assets or consumer devices to the Internet and these things in turn will connect to the Internet through the Internet of Things (IoT) communications. Since the vision and model have existed, the number and types of connected things have grown, along with technologies for capturing, processing, and sharing data. This m2m technology was founded on mesh technology, and the communication protocol is MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport. It is a lightweight messaging protocol developed for constrained devices and networks with high latency, low capacity, or unstable networks. In this paper, it will be constructed with two solar-powered charging stations. There are twoseparate batteries for two charging stations. One is Main charging station and another is supportive charging station. If the voltage of one battery drops, another station will share the voltage from the battery it has. For whatever reason that fails, the battery will be charged from the national grid and supplied to the load. All the data, notification & information will be stored in a local server.

This paper presents a real-time implementation of an embedded sensor network for an automated radio telescope. The sensor network consists of accelerometers, digital motor temperature sensors, azimuth and elevation encoders, ambient temperature and humidity sensors, and an over the air wireless updating system for the microcontroller. A super loop software architecture was used to collect sensor data and update the control room operation. A custom PCB was designed for the sensor that houses the microcontroller, a wireless communication module, and peripheral circuit components. A laboratory test setup was built to collect sensor data and emulate the actual system operation. The test results validated the sensor network and system operation.

Recent advances have introduced IoT as one of the key technologies globally. As safety remains a critical issue for those who spend much time outside. Automated security systems are very useful where safety is an important issue. With a prospect of a Zero User Interface (UI) model this work represents a novel IoT based smart vault security system. The system is built and designed based on IoT combining with Arduino-Uno and Bluetooth module. This system involves LDR sensor, IR sensor and Sonar sensor for monitoring. The vault provides security on three levels. Password protected entry to connect with the smartphone using Bluetooth module, IR sensor array to use ‘secret gesture pattern’ to unlock the door, tracking number of transactions from the vault using Sonar sensor and LDR was used as a switch. To avoid the replication of physical unlocking of objects IR sensor array was used to introduce ‘secret gesture pattern’ unlocking system through touchless interfaces for the avoidance of transmissive diseases like COVID-19. This novel system has substantial possibility as a security vault system for industrial and residential use in a contactless manner.

Ahstract—The inspiration for this project is to limit and curtail the difficulties and issues related to the Bus transport framework in any organization i.e schools, colleges, and universities. There is no denying the fact that the Transport Division of these organizations faces challenges in certain issues day to day related to transport, and our commitment is to limit the issues identified with it. The fundamental issues are optimization of the number of buses, identifying the entrance of unauthorized individuals, multiple reservations of the seat by one student, and lack of data to minimize the issues. It is a system where the user can maintain his bus reservation system with the process of biometrics which will be placed at the entrance of the bus. To stop multiple reservations in various buses by one individual a network between two or more buses are done by the wireless network so that if one student reserve a seat in one bus and also try to reserve a seat on another bus at a time the system will be shown that already he has reserved a seat in a bus. In this way, the authority can monitor how many seats are booked and how many seats are available. This system can facilitate any transport Division of any educational Institution to manage Transport facilities in a very cost effective and efficient way.

Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) uses bio-electrochemical process to generate electricity. It is considered as a new approach in renewable energy generation. However, due to low output voltage and current, supplying power to loads from MFC is quite challenging. Research so far done on MFC mainly focused on material analysis, creating new designs, bacterial activity in MFC and so on. But very few attempts have been done on delivering power to loads from MFC. In this research, using waste water as input, three Double chamber MFCs and two single chamber membrane-less MFCs have been constructed using Aluminum as anode and Copper as cathode. Constructed MFCs were connected in series which generated maximum 2.6 V. The MFC combination could light up a small Light Emitting Diode (LED).

The decrease in fossil fuel reserves has prompted a global move toward distributed energy resources. For this reason, solar PV power generation has recently gained much attention as a feasible renewable energy source. However, large-scale generation is challenging if there are anomalies in individual solar PV panels. This will reduce the efficiency of the PV system and create a potential fire hazard. In this perspective, the anomaly detection technique discloses system anomalies accurately and effectively. Identified anomalies will localize the event for an improved generation. This paper addresses the performance analysis of using the isolation forest technique to identify anomalies in the PV system and the rule-based fault localization technique to identify defective panel events. In the developed model, the isolation forest technique found around 453 anomalies in 45,740 observations, and approximately six panels indicated a fault in the system. The accuracy score is found to be approximately 0.9886. The proposed fault detection method will help detect the faults in solar power systems.

Health safety is always one of the key concerns for human lives. During this current pandemic, people have become more aware of this fact and have started following different precautions. In this paper, we have discussed a prototype of a cost-efficient and environmentally friendly disinfection chamber that can help to solve the public health risk that was brought to our attention. Currently, power generation costs have also increased due to inflation and fuel price hikes. There is a lack of power supply for that. To ensure the proper demand for power, the whole world focused on renewable energy. While developing the prototype, we tried to use the widely available resources in our local market so that it reduces the cost as well as can be easily repairable and upgradeable. Although we have used solar panels in the system, due to the portability and availability of power, we have also used a battery system which can supply power to the chamber for over 8 hours. We also discussed a few future works on the proposed system, with a focus on solar system improvement.

Although we have used solar panels in the system, due to the portability and availability of power, we have also used a battery system which can supply power to the chamber for over 8 hours. We also discussed a few future works on the proposed system, with a focus on solar system improvement.","PeriodicalId":389360,"journal":{"name":"2023 3rd International Conference on Robotics, Electrical and Signal Processing Techniques (ICREST)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114199217","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
