On the basis of reviewing on the existing literatures about knowledge sharing, this paper states that the tacit knowledge sharing among knowledge workers plays an important role in improving universities' competences. Through a KT model, the characteristics of different types of knowledge workers in universities are analyzed. And basing on an empirical research, motivation factors that make knowledge workers share their tacit knowledge in universities are obtained and it is also found that the importance of these motivators is dissimilar for different types of knowledge workers. Then a motivation model is presented suggesting more concrete and efficient motivation mechanisms for the tacit knowledge sharing in universities.

In this paper, a fuzzy linear programming model for bi-level distribution network design in supply chain management (SCM) is proposed, in which both customer demands for products and production capacity of branch plants are treated as fuzzy parameters. Then a fuzzy chance constrained programming model is presented to denote the problem further. The ways to convert chance constraints to their respective crisp equivalents are also discussed. To speed up the process of solving the problem, a heuristic method is combined with conventional branch and bound algorithm and satisfactory results have been achieved. A numerical example is given to illustrate the proposed model at the end of the paper.

International ocean container shipping is a huge investment business and carriers expect more benefits from improving the operational level cargo mix and shipment planning. In this paper, we describe the characteristics of the cargo mix and shipment schedule problem with uncertainty in a multi-period planning horizon, and propose a two-stage stochastic mixed integer programming model for the problem. The objective of the model is maximizing the expected profit over the possible decisions under the uncertainty of shipping capacities. A heuristic algorithm is proposed to obtain an approximate optimal solution for the problem. Finally, we give numerical experiments to demonstrate the efficiency of the algorithm.

Despite the rapid growth of electronic commerce in recent years in China few studies have been published to assess the efficacy of current governmental Web sites. In this paper, a detailed and original assessment index is suggested to measure the Web sites of Chongqing foreign trade enterprises focuses on three categories: site content, functional service and construct quality. The suggested methodology is equally valuable for analyzing commercial, educational and non-profit making organizations. The scoring mechanism is explained by using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The result indicates that the development of foreign trade enterprise Web site is in a nascent stage as a whole. Finally, a series of implications of this study are presented.

The product family (PF) approach is broadly adopted to develop product variants (PVs) across all the product stages. Product family architecture (PFA) can perform as a general product structure to capture the commonalities and generalize the differences of the PF members. Based on the rationales of PFA, this paper proposes an extended PF approach to support services in terms of platform, modules, for-services data, resources and knowledge. A complex services system including systematic strategy, generic solution and reusable modules can be formulated on the PF level to serve all the PVs. And a series of services bill-of-material (SBOMs) are employed to manage all related services data and documents such as customer product, quality and dismantling etc.

Virtual enterprise is a new collaboration form for some independent businesses and it is popular in the e-commerce environment. Many methodologies are proposed to model and analyze the interorganizational process collaboration in virtual enterprises. But the agile ability of the interorganizational process to face the changing environment is neglected. This paper analyzes the agility property of interorganizational processes from several aspects. And the agility analysis framework of interorganizational processes is given. Moreover, the interorganizational process model based on Petri nets and agent technology is proposed.

The gap between business decision making and software engineering causes inefficiency and quality problems in software development. Software engineers do not understand organization's value creation objectives and their influence on software production and structure. For this reason software does not fulfill the requirements of business and software quality is inadequate too often. The objective of the authors in the service-oriented software engineering project (SOSE) is to develop methods and tools to improve quality and profitability of software development. In this paper the authors described SOSE framework and clarify with examples its phases, utility, and application in pilot projects. SOSE framework's first activity is to create a well-defined business case. Then, business processes and data concepts are identified, to meet business requirements of the business case, and modelled with informal diagrams like UML and BPML. Finally, the refinement continues with use case maps, system-level services, and business service components. It is proposed that service, process, entity, and utility components are used as design elements of the business service component. In implementation platform independent and platform specific models were utilized. This study has been carried out in cooperation with ICT companies and their customers in electricity domain in Finland.

Models of two-stage and three-stage games are set up in this article according to the Hotelling linear model. In the models, one-round pricing of products concerning the differentiated cost and the asymmetric information for duopoly enterprises is considered. The marketing strategy of price competition and product differentiation is discussed. And it must result in such a situation that both sides can obtain higher price and more profit in Stackelberg equilibrium than that in Nash equilibrium. Moreover, under the Bertrand-Stackelberg marketing competition equilibrium, the follower has the advantage of surpassing the former one and can make more profit than the leading one.

In the electricity market environment, charging based on the traditional spot electricity price results in the payment imbalance of electric network, and go against the development of the power system, so it is necessary to modify the spot price. The key of the modification lies in how to calculate the fixed per unit transmission cost of every node, that is how to allocate the fixed transmission cost to the users. In order to solve this problem, power flow tracing is developed to modify the spot price. By making a study of the fundamental principle of power flow tracing, the method of path searching is put forward based on the graph theory. By using the method, downstream tracing algorithm and upstream tracing algorithm according to the proportional distribution principle are given in this paper. Furthermore, in order to improve the computational efficiency of the algorithm, branch expunction method is introduced in the algorithm to optimize the node order. A 5-bus sample system is used to prove this algorithm is feasible and valid. Finally, by using the result of power flow tracing to get fixed node transmission cost and introducing it to modify the spot price, the synthetical price can be achieved.

In order to determine an optimal route, the network performance and cost of many network providers must be compared when end-user visit the content provided by content provider under the certain QoS constraints in multi-provider network. The correlative network information is collected by mobile agent. The delay and cost between any two nodes of network is set to be random variables. The minimum model with expectation of cost and delay value is presented in a stochastic network. The optimal solution of mobile agent route from service provider to content provider is computed and using genetic algorithms. In a case scenario of data simulation, the result obtained show operation effectiveness of the above approach.
