Chinese health care industry is increasingly becoming a community-based style, it is hoped that the community healthcare service model can efficiently connect hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and customers for sharing information, reducing administrative costs and improving the quality of care. Thus, the successful community healthcare depends critically on the collection, analysis and seamless exchange of residents, clinical, pharmacies and other utilization health information or knowledge within and across the above organizational boundaries. In this paper, a data warehouse-enabled community healthcare management system that would help to integrate residents, hospitals, pharmacies and governments in healthcare was put forward through a common technical architecture. According to the characteristics of different roles, a subject-oriented information share model is also discussed. Hence, the objective of this research is to present and describe the community healthcare service system in China, the technical infrastructure of data warehouse, and the decision support architecture for such a healthcare management system. The research findings would immensely help the development of healthcare community in China, and improve the healthcare service quality from the point of view of residents.

The early and reliable detection of malicious attacks is a crucial issue for today's network security and survivability. Different types of attacks may need different responses. Therefore, it is a meaningful task to predict the category of malicious attacks and take appropriate reactions. The goal of this paper is to apply multiple-criteria linear programming (MCLP) method to the multi-group intrusion classification problem. Specifically, we first collect a multi-group network intrusion dataset using Tenable NeWT Security Scanner. Five attack types and total of 9061 data records were captured. After that, MCLP five-group model was applied to the NeWT dataset. The classification accuracy of MCLP was compared with see5, a decision-tree-based classification tool. The experimental results of this research indicate that MCLP achieves comparable classification accuracy to see5.

According to object-oriented programming thought, this text is on the basis of workflow design using Petri net, and put forward an approach of inheritance workflow to solve the design of interorganizational workflows, designing such workflows in such a way that business partners preserve their autonomy as well as tightly co-operation. This promotes the development of business-to-business e-commerce. In the article, we take an instance for analysis.

Knowledge management is the new phrase of modern enterprise management theory and it challenges the traditional information management means which can not fulfill the needs of knowledge management any more. This dissertation tries to analyze the position and function of decision support system based on knowledge management, puts forward a logical model of decision support system based on knowledge management, and gives an analysis and evaluation of its key technologies.

Urban infrastructures are the focus of terrorist acts because, quite simply, they produce the most visible impact, if not casualties. While terrorist acts are the most insidious and onerous of all disruptions, it is obvious that there are many similarities to the way one should deal with these willful acts and those caused by natural and accidental incidents that have also resulted in adverse and severe consequences. However, there is one major and critical difference between terrorist acts and the other types of disruptions: the terrorist acts are willful - and therefore also adaptive, if not coordinated. One must counter these acts with the same, if not more sophisticated, willful, adaptive and informed approach. Real-time, information-based decision making - which Tien [2003] has called the decision informatics paradigm - is the approach advanced herein to help make the right decisions at the various stages of a disruption.

The widespread adoption of XML is creating a new set of data management requirements, such as the need to store and query XML documents. There are more and more XML documents without associated schema on the Web. It is difficult to query this kind of XML documents. This paper proposes a new XML documents storage model based on model-mapping, namely XPEV. The unique feature of model-mapping-based storage model is that no DTDs (document type declarations) or XML-schema information is required for XML data storage. Well-formed (nonDTDs) XML documents could be easily stored in relational databases through XPEV's three tables: path table, edge table and value table. Experiment shows that XPEV model excels other known model-mapping methods.

We consider two independent retailers that face stochastic demand. Because of long lead-time and short selling season, retailers obtain goods from a supplier via options contract. At the beginning of the selling season, retailer can adjust their positions by trading options with another when the demand is realized. We focus on deriving how the possibility of such options trading between two independent retailers affects each retailer's optimal order and optimal profit. Game theory is adopted as an analysis tool. We show that there exists a unique Nash equilibrium in pure strategy for retailers' optimal orders with options trading. The retailer's optimal profit with options trading is higher than the case without options trading. The retailers' optimal orders with options trading all increase in options trading price. There exists a unique optimal options price that yields the retailers' joint optimal profit.

The aim of this paper is to address the following problems that are becoming increasingly important to managers in food retail industries. Whether the guarantee of food safety is the key way to promote service level of food retail and enhance customer satisfaction? If yes, how to reinforce the food safety management? What are advantages of applying information technology in building credit system of food safety (CSFS)? How does CSFS influence customer satisfaction? Based on analyzing the basic principles, framework of CSFS and elucidating the role of food retailer, food enterprises and customers in CSFS respectively, the paper introduces how does CSFS integrate whole food supply chain to ensure food safety and what are the functions of CSFS in food safety management through information technology. Based on prior researches which focus on factors affecting customer satisfaction, the paper elaborates on the impacts of CSFS on these factors and its results, and also finds that CSFS based on information technology not only promote service level of food retail through ensuring food safety, but also enhance customer satisfaction.

This paper presents a research model, which is built on DeLoan and McLean's (1992, 2003) information system model, to examine the Web site success in Indonesian SMEs. The research model is aiming to make contribution to literature via build the foundation to provide answers for such research questions as what are the factors that influence the Web site use in Indonesian SMEs? What are the factors that influence user satisfaction about Indonesian SMEs' Web sites? What are the relationships between use, user satisfaction and organizational performance of Web site in Indonesian SMEs?. Besides the academic contribution to the field of e-commerce, the research output arising from the proposed Web site success model via subsequent empirical studies are able to provide practical and applicable suggestions on the e-commerce Web site to organizations in Indonesian and across the globe.

Many factors in an enterprise are playing important roles in intense commercial competitions. Some are positive and some are negative. If dealing with these factors correctly, potential crisis will be found to avoid defeats, even bankrupt. Designing a crisis predicting system is necessary. An excellent predicting can not only predict expecting crisis and take controlling measures, but also can provide enough preparation and plan to deal with crisis smoothly. The factors are the basis data to be analyzed to support such a system and maybe they are quantitative or qualitative. In order to solve such problems as half-structured and non-structured data analysis in enterprise crisis predicting system, a predicting system based on outlier data mining is put forward. The system organization, frame construction, function and working principles are illustrated. And the working process is showed by an example of cheat predicting. The experimental results show that this method is efficient and it has wide utilization in predicting fields.
