An ambulatory monitoring architecture for the remote healthcare service system 用于远程医疗保健服务系统的动态监控体系结构

The design of a smart sensor to monitor physical and physiological activity is discussed in terms of its integration within an intelligent telecare system. The proposed device measures posture, gait, and movement transition by three accelerometers. A physiological vibration sensor is used to monitor blood pressure and pulse rate, which is also clinically important parameters. The device detects a fall and monitors the status of the faller to identify whether assistance is required. The device also provides a measure of mobility which may be utilized in the automatic calculation of the activities of daily living, for use by some patients, social workers and occupational therapists as well for continuously determining a person's ability to live independently in the community. A data processing schema in which these parameters are extracted is described. It is hoped that such a device promotes an integrated approach to the management of patients with chronic diseases including CHF (congestive heart failure), brain blood vessel and et al, and the management of falls by the elderly in the community.

Inter-organizational business process modeling for electronic commerce based on pi-calculus 基于pi演算的电子商务组织间业务流程建模

Electronic commerce on the Internet has become exceedingly dynamic and inter-organizational in recent times. Interorganizational workflow management system has become an important paradigm for business-to-business electronic commerce applications. The modeling of interorganizational business processes is a challenging task, due to the high degree of autonomy and heterogeneity of the cooperative organizations. A number of standardization initiatives are working on standards for modeling languages that can be employed under interorganizational environments. This paper presents a formal specification methodology for interorganizational workflow modeling which is founded upon the pi-calculus process algebra. This method works well for characterizing the behaviors and interactions of the workflow processes that belong to different organizations in terms of the semantics of pi-calculus. Experimental results show that the proposed method works well for the modeling of electronic commerce systems under interorganizational environments.

Production strategy in supply chain under asymmetric information 信息不对称下的供应链生产策略

In this paper production strategies in supply chain under different information conditions, specially under asymmetry information, are discussed. Cost and profit function both of producer and stock keeper is developed, where producer is principal and stock-keeper is agent. Under asymmetry information the individual rationality constraint of producer's least profit is transformed into quadric form function, and through making the first order condition of stock-keeper's profit for the parameter of storage cost as state equation and applying maximal principle, production strategy with asymmetry information is deduced. The difference of production strategies under different information conditions is analyzed and simulation is done.

A research on reciprocity mechanism among tourism enterprises based on shared service management 基于共享服务管理的旅游企业互惠机制研究

Starting from the promotion of whole coordinative development of the tourism industry, this paper analyzes problems, such as excessive competition, increasing operation cost, and falling service quality. Based on the theories of shared service management, it puts forward a primitive reciprocity mechanism among tourism enterprises that may help to cut the cost as well as to improve service. According to the basic theory of repeated games, it carries out further research on the incentive function of the reciprocity mechanism that may encourage enterprises to establish a shared service. Four technical approaches to realize reciprocity among tourism enterprises are presented.
本文从促进旅游业整体协调发展的角度出发,分析了旅游业存在的竞争过度、经营成本增加、服务质量下降等问题。在共享服务管理理论的基础上,提出了旅游企业之间的原始互惠机制,该机制有助于降低成本,提高服务质量。根据重复博弈的基本理论,进一步研究了鼓励企业建立共享服务的互惠机制的激励作用。提出了实现旅游企业互惠的四种技术途径。

Analysis and optimization of the picking up medicine queuing system for a medical warehouse - a case study of Shenzhen Jianhua Medical Company 医药仓库取药排队系统分析与优化——以深圳建华医药公司为例

This paper, based on the warehouse operations of Shenzhen Jianhua Medical company, describes the elements of the picking up medicine queueing system, identifies the characteristics of the probability distribution of customer interarrival times and service times, determines which queueing model is most appropriate for the Jianhua company, applies M/Ms model and M/M/s nonpreemptive priorities model to obtain the key measures of performance for this queueing system, applies economic analysis to decide how many servers should be provided to minimize the total cost, and gives the optimal design to improve the behavior of the warehouse operations for Jianhua Company.

The study of cluster analysis of pricing of IPO IPO定价的聚类分析研究

The underpricing of initial public offering has been one of the "the new issue puzzles" in the finance. Working out an objective and scientific method to solve this problem has been the goal of academic, authority and underwriters. Based on the unique character of the Chinese stock market, this paper examines the popular models and theories of the pricing of IPO of the world and analyzes their applicability and limitation in practice. Then we puts forward a new way that applies the cluster analysis, one of multistatistic analysis to the pricing of the initial public offering. By empirical analysis, this paper has raised an effective and feasible method to the pricing of IPO. This way can effectively solve the underpricing of IPO and give some insights and understanding to the reform of the pricing of new issues on Chinese security market.

Service quality of travel agents: the case of travel agents in China 旅行社服务质量:以中国旅行社为例

Travel agents in China have faced difficult times in recent years because of increasing customer demands and internal competition in the industry. A China Consumer Council report (2003) stated that complaints against travel agencies had increased by 10.6% for the year 2002/2003 as compared with the previous year. The purpose of the study was to assess customers' expectations and perceptions of service provided by travel agents, and to explore how the service factors derived from the factor analysis were related to overall customer satisfaction. The results showed that customers' perceptions of service quality fell short of their expectations, with the reliability dimension having the largest gap. Five factors were derived from the factor analysis of 25 service attributes, and the result of factor analysis showed that overall customer satisfaction was related to these five factors.

Mobile business applications adoption model based on the concepts of task/technology fit 基于任务/技术契合概念的移动业务应用采用模型

With the speedy development of mobile communication and wireless technologies, business activities will break away from the limitation of region and time step by step, which bring the continuous influences on organizations. Thus, mobile commerce is regarded as a beginning signal of a new area of business. In this field of mobile technologies and applications studies, many researchers focus on personal mobile applications, but omit the considerable research value and significance of mobile technologies applied in business environments. Since mobile business services (i.e., MBS) differ distinctly from mobile consumer services (i.e., MCS), their relevant adoption models are definitely diverse. This paper, based on task-technology fit model, presents a MBS adoption model from the perspectives of the actual usage of mobile applications in business environments, and the impacts of mobile technologies on businesses.

The risk identification and monitoring of electronic business 电子商务的风险识别与监控

With the rapid development and wide applying of Internet technology, many enterprises are eager to do business through Internet. However, concerning the electronic business, the risk does not reduce but increases for the management circumstances and operating mode have changed greatly, which make traditional risk management confronted with challenges. How to identify and control risk is sticking point to run electronic business successfully. In this article, three kinds of risk factors of electronic business according to the risk sources are identified and analyzed particularly. Then, the risk monitoring process and the risk real-time monitoring system for electronic business based on this process is also presented. This system consists of five functional modules and one data interface. These five functional modules including data definition, data analysis, risk identification, risk monitoring and risk perfection are discussed in detail. The risk real-time monitoring system can be used to manage the risks in every stage of electronic business lifecycle, and can be applied in other fields.

The B2B adoption in retail firms in China: an empirical study 中国零售企业的B2B采用:一个实证研究

This paper presents the preliminary results of a study on the adoption of B2B platform in retail firms in China. Our focus is on clarifying whether and to what extent differences, such as organizational culture and government regulatory play roles in the information technology adoption. Based on Tornatsky and Fleischer's (1990) technology-organization-environment framework, the factors investigated are environmental, organizational, technological context. Seven hypotheses are formed and the survey is made among the top 100 retail firms in China. At the time of writing, the data collection is still in process, the expected outcomes will have implications for retailers themselves, information technology vendors and governments.
