The optimal ordering policy for a short-life-cycle product under Bayesian updating 贝叶斯更新下短生命周期产品的最优订购策略

This paper deals with the ordering decision question on ordering for a short-life-cycle product under Bayesian updating. According to the product, which is characterized by the single cycle and two selling periods, we depict the ordering decision for a centralized system with a stochastic dynamic programming model, and prove that the expected profit function of the whole system is concave on the first ordering quantity and the remedial ordering quantity. Then, we develop the optimal ordering policy for the centralized system. Lastly, we analyze the characteristics of the decision method with some examples.

Customer's perceived service quality of Internet retailing 互联网零售的顾客感知服务质量

The study has investigated the consumer's perceived e-retailing service quality in the Internet context The results of the study reveal that consumer's perceptions of online retailing service quality have eight dimensions: reliability, convenience, diversity, availability, responsiveness, empathy, post-service, and security. Researchers and online marketers may develop better understanding their customers, marketing strategies, and e-store architects to attract potential consumers adopt the online retailing services and retention current customers.

Optimal model of anti-dumping duty rate under Cournot competition between similar products 同类产品古诺竞争下反倾销税率的最优模型

At first, according to the relevant economic theories, the author points out the disadvantages of the formula of dumping margin on which the antidumping (AD) duty rate depends, which is used by WTO and our domestic government. Then the author concludes the optimal model of working out antidumping duty rate under Cournot competition between different products. At last, the author analyses the factors impacting antidumping duty rate, meanwhile provides our government some suggestions on determining antidumping duty rate and gives the domestic firms some advices during investigation cases.
本文首先从经济学的相关理论出发,指出了WTO和我国政府现行反倾销税率所依据的倾销幅度计算公式的不足之处。在此基础上,建立了不同产品古诺竞争条件下反倾销税率确定的最优模型。最后,对影响反倾销税率的因素进行了分析,同时对我国政府确定反倾销税率提出了建议,并对国内企业在调查案件中提出了建议。

A framework for enterprise architecture effectiveness 企业架构有效性的框架

Since Japanese firms have recently been forced to innovate their business models due to several factors, such as global operations, e-business, and merger & acquisition, they are need to have flexible business information systems to adapt to their industry changes. Historically, the biggest challenge facing to firms is "adaptation" to any environment. The flexibility of business information systems to create business values has been discussed for a long time as one of critical problems among information technology (IT) communities. One of potential solutions is enterprise architecture, which first started with e-Government However, the effectiveness of enterprise architecture is still highly uncertain and little research evidence establishes the benefits of architecture or helps firms assess their architecture. The purpose of this paper is to clarify problems when firms confront e-business system implementation from an enterprise architecture viewpoint, and to propose an analytical framework in terms of enterprise architecture effectiveness while discussing the relation with Governance, and other relevant factors.

Comparative study of obtaining competitive advantage from information technology 信息技术获取竞争优势的比较研究

Researches on IT and competitive advantage have shifted from strategic information system, the tool to gain competitive advantage, to information technology capabilities inside the firms. The aim of this shift lies in how to gain sustained competitive advantage (SCA). The paper provides a brief review of these two perspectives guiding IT for competitive advantage. First, the means and its problems of attaining competitive advantage through strategic information systems are analyzed. Second, a typology of key IS resources is presented from resource-based view of firms. And then we compare and contrast them with one another using six resource attributes of value, rarity, appropriability, instability, substitutability and mobility. Third, we explain the mechanism that IS resources act on firm performance. Finally, the structure of information technology capabilities is briefly discussed.

With the social division in the era of knowledge economy, consulting industry becomes more and more important. The rich experiences of development path of US consulting firms should be studied in detail in further researches. Although Chinese local consulting firms should insist in the comparative advantages in local milieu, international rules and regulations becomes even more radical in consulting, and the severe situation is, who will help the Chinese local enterprises go abroad? Are there any necessities for mutual learning and any ways for strategic alliances? The authors of the paper try to probe into the future co-existence of US and domestic consulting firms via perspectives between McKinsey & Co. and ZG Wang Strategic Consultancy in regional rail consulting programs of Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta.

Revision of the observed data based on neural networks 基于神经网络的观测数据修正

It is a very important task for graduation of the observed data in composing the mortality table. Currently, there are different limitations influencing the methods of graduation. In this paper, the revision of data is completed by means of neural networks. This paper mainly uses a three -to -eight -to -one's model of neural network for graduation of the observed data. As it is illustrated in the paper, the method is right, and can be generalized to the graduation of observed data of other schemes.

A formal approach to modeling agents based on object semantics 一种基于对象语义对代理进行建模的形式化方法

This paper presents a formal approach, OSA, which is based on object semantics, to model agent-based systems. Agent system is modeled as a set of objects, each of which is specified as a hierarchical automaton. These parallel automata run independently and communicate each other through corresponding communication gates. Compared with other modeling method (such as UML, SCR, Statecharts, Petri Net, etc.), OSA is a formal agent modeling approach with the advantage of: object-oriented, easy-to-use and reusable. The formal definition, operational semantics and a case study of OSA are given in the paper.

An analysis of the contribution of research and development and concomitant innovation to corporate market valuation was reported by Fluke and Kump. The data were further analyzed to ascertain the relative R&D investment in the service sector and the goods sector in a population of 30 companies most affected by accounting treatment of R&D expenditures; it was found that 97% of these companies are in the goods sector. All ten of the companies that have generated the most U.S. patents in the last five years are in the goods sector. Of the ten companies that made the largest investment in R&D, 90% are in the goods sector. Inferences related to the nature of the service sector are discussed.

This paper defines the competence characteristics as "a latent and lasting individual behavioral characteristics that separate the ordinary performer with the outstanding ones to ensure the dimensions of competence and outward behavior of client managers". Based on this, it explores the competence characteristics conceptual model of strategic client managers of telecommunication industry. It adopts the multi-order layered dimensional design (threshold characteristics, matching characteristics, development characteristics) and establishes a three-dimensional solid competence characteristics model; moreover, using the structural equation model, it conducts an empirical research to the samples of strategic client managers of Jiangsu Mobile Company and tests the proposed conceptual model.
